I mean when I was a kid I had a gameboy, but the games weren't as complex back then so I'd get tired of playing Pokemon after 30 minutes and go draw or ride my bike instead. Kids today need more of that. Get on your bike, go find that special tree, sit under it or climb it, and play a gameboy for a little bit, or take a binder and a pencil and draw something. When I was a kid, I'd sit on my ass and watch Saturday morning cartoons from 7 am until noon. 5 hours in front of the TV. Is that any different than watching YouTube videos for a few hours? When I came home from school I'd watch cartoons from 3 pm to 5 pm, eat dinner, then watch TV from about 6 to 10. 6 hours of TV.

Maybe that wasn't your experience but believe me mine was pretty fucking average in those respects.
