I say this because if I were an actor, due to my proportions (longish torso, very broad, normal sized/large head, etc) I could, with boots and 1-2" lift, have a billed height at around 5'11". I guess my point is that billed height for actors is bullshit and doesn't represent their height. Also the reason so many actors are short is because the ideal proportions of a male on screen are somewhere between 5'7" and 6'4". Any larger than 6'4" and it not only is harder to get everything in frame but the proportions become a bit off with the head being too small, etc and unless you're looking for specific characters, like in capeshit, where you want the small heroic head thing, then it doesn't work.
