I honestly don't think Jenna's really such a sad case. She loved the role, and she had a few years of supporting roles in movies, and then she settled down and had some kids. I don't think she ever wanted a huge career, or to be some top movie star. It's not like she's Corey Feldman or something.

The people I feel bad for are the Nikki Blonskys, fat girl from Precious, gay kid from Glee, pretty much any "viral video" star. A lot of times it seems like they don't really understand what's happening. They've stumbled into some crazy role of a lifetime, and they're getting lots and lots of attention and accolades, but it's never going to go anywhere. So often these people get on the cover of magazines, walk a red carpet, maybe even win a Golden Globe, and then get the bitter wakeup when they find out that people don't want to see the gay kid from Glee in anything other than Glee, and the best anyone can offer is the occasional cameo in a project so shitty that "we have the gay kid from Glee" passes for a selling point.
