Dany was pretty good in the first season. She had a proper arc. And she had some bright moments in S3, but everything other than that has been garbage. This is true for a lot of characters. Tyrion has slowly been losing his wit and is now at "le no cock" satge, which is somewhere below the barrel, and on top of that he hasn't done shit for two seasons now. Robb was cool for a few moments in the first season, but went to shit as soon as Talisa came into the picture... Pretty much everyone has been doing the same shit for three or so seasons now. It's really grating.

I was rewatching seasons 2 to 4, and holy fuck, I couldn't count instances when they could simply buttrape Dany and be done with it instead of pretending to give a shit about your royalty.

An especially egregious moment was when Daario Naharis effortlessly infiltrated her tent despite the super duper strong Unsullied guard and Barristan Selmy as her Queensgard.
I mean, at least in the books he was apprehended, but in the show they made it retardedly easy to kill her.
