It's still a franchise for very young kids though. Believe it or not, there are lots of parents that won't take their kids to pg-13 movies. There's a reason Disney doesn't make their animated movies over PG. Any kid age 10 or older has outgrown the power rangers, and normal adults don't care about the franchise at all.

I liked it. Would watch a sequel.

If it doesn't happen at least it wrapped everything up neatly.

Power Rangers pulled in $40 million domestic its opening weekend and claimed the #2 spot. GitS did $19 million and opened at #3.
