Okay some speculation about the Ice Warrior ep

It's been established that the Ice Warriors abdoned the planet due to the Flood, so either the Doctor visits an isolated Hive, or... he goes to the Hive in the middle of the Flood outbreak which I think is most likely. So essentially we may be getting the prequel to the Water of Mars and Cold War, we might find out how the Flood originated. Maybe even a younger Skaldaak shows up, and he crashes on Earth after the end of the ep leading into Cold war for the eleventh Doctor and the Water of Mars for the Tenth.

The destruction of the Zygon homeworld was pretty strongly implied in Terror of the Zygons, before even Genesis, much less the Time War. Midnight is an awful episode.

It's obvious that RTD had certain characters he wanted in the episode and he had a conclusion he wanted to get to, but the established characterisation of the passengers is totally at odds with what they do. Instead of building to it gradually it's like someone flicks a switch and these personable, reasonable people all turn into complete monsters in a matter of seconds. It's very easy to tell that RTD has never been in a compromising situation with a group of other people.
