Ep 11: Starts mid-story, with the last remnant of the BTFO Mondasian army having landed on past Earth and started converting people. The Doctor shows up and convinces the Cyberleader: dude, you lost the Cyberwars, badly. Maybe that whole not having emotions thing is a disadvantage, not an advantage. And it actually works. Bravo, Doctor.

Except no, what he's actually convinced them to do is to convert themselves back into humans. By kidnapping homeless people to steal their parts. And the rest of the ep is him failing to stop them. And then, with the Doctor and team all captured, suddenly Missy shows up with her army of every Cybervariant ever throughout time. Cliffhanger.

Ep12: Missy's plan is actually for her army to lose so the Mondasians can cannibalize their tech and relaunch the cyberwars and be unstoppable this time. So the civil war is over pretty fast, and the main story is the Doctor trying to stop Missy, and then he only wins because she does the Delgado sacrifice story in the end.

Gareth Roberts has just stormed the set yelling "Mondasian? In a press release for normal people?!", and keeps shouting "Meglos!" whenever they action a shot so they have to keep retaking.

The original plan for the last Pertwee episode was called The Final Game, and… well, Sloman never finished the script, because Delgado died in a car accident before they got there, but he knew what the end was going to be: The Master sets up an explosion, but then he realizes that he's not actually going to accomplish his plans but he is going to kill the Doctor, and that's the worst possible outcome. So he sacrifices himself so the Doctor can regenerate.

It's the fabled story that would have made the Pertwee era perfect.

Although it probably wouldn't have, especially since it was also going to reveal that the Master was either the Doctor's younger brother, or basically the Valeyard (Sloman wrote treatments both ways)…
