If they wanted to do that then just re-release The Lion King in theaters. Throw 3D on top of it for all I care. Literally NOTHING about Disney movies from that era has aged and requires remaking. Unlike modern shit like Tangled and Frozen, which have so much outdated teen attitude in them that it'll be making people roll their eyes in ten years wondering how they ever liked them.
