Well, during the Teresa video, she says she loves her sisters, and then sort of stumbles before saying she loves her whole family.

Ok, so I just got done watching the tenth episode and was surprised to find it included more information that's important to forming an opinion on the over all case.

Many people with the release of this documentary have been bring up evidence that either wasn't present in the doc or facts about the case you might not know and one of those things was about Teresa's purse and its contents being on the Avery residence. This is not true and the purse and its contents ARE mentioned in the documentary. Specifically during the second attempt I believe it was to coerce a confession out of Brendan, it was the one before he called his mother about O'kelley and everyone trying to get him to confess. Not only is it mentioned in the doc but it makes no difference really when you consider that if someone got the body there and placed it to frame Avery, what makes you think they couldn't have brought the purse as well? And hid it in one of the burn barrels, which if I recall was one of multiple locations at which "Teresa's bones" were recovered?

I finally finished the show and I'm catching up on all these memes I avoided

I can't watch a single episode without stopping for a few minutes. Some of the stuff I saw made me cringe. That defense lawyer for Brendan who looked like a typical sleazy lawyer made me want to punch him in the face, especially when the coerced confession was used as evidence and all he practically said was "oh well"

Fucking wow. So, does everyone know about the juror who has recently reached out to the documentary crew about how they feel they were forced into giving a guilty verdict?

Not only this, but one of the jurors, the one who had been replaced, claims before he left that there was bias against Avery. One of the jurors not only volunteered for the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department DURING the trial but also had a son who worked there.

I can't believe there are people coming out of this documentary still claiming Avery is guilty. I mean, even the evidence that "wasn't included in the documentary" fails to out weigh the incredible evidence toward him being framed. One juror had a break down and had to be removed and replaced due to a family emergency, another recently comes forward about feeling they were forced to give a guilty verdict and that each count was compromised through vote-trading which occurred during deliberations and two of the jurors had direct ties to the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department (one being a volunteer and father of a Lt and the other's wife working there as a clerk). On top of this, the excused juror recalls statements made by other jurors that makes it even more clear that there was bias.

Another juror, Richard Mahler, said that when he asked a member of the jury after the trial why they convicted Avery, the juror told him: “Think of all the things he did when he was younger.” He took that comment to mean that Avery’s conviction was based on all of the things he had done when he was younger and not on the evidence in the trial. Mahler further described a number of incidents that he found disturbing in the initial hours of deliberation. “I walked into the jury room for the first four hours of deliberation and one of the gentlemen had his arms crossed, and he said to me, ‘He’s guilty as hell.’ And I thought to myself, ‘How can this be? What is wrong with this guy? He’s not even willing to look at the evidence.’” Mahler also described what happened during the first lunch break of deliberations. He told a fellow juror, “‘Man, I just can’t handle this.’ And he said, ‘Then why don’t you leave?’” Mahler said, “I don’t know if he thought because I was a threat to the guilty verdict or not, but I took that pretty hard too.” He later got a phone call that his stepdaughter had been in an accident. It was a combination of the family emergency and the comments at lunch and in the jury room that led him to, as he described, “an emotional breakdown.” He told Golodryga, “That’s why I left the jury.” Mahler said he knew nothing about Avery going into the trial, but he “has learned that a lot of people on the jury had been out to the junkyard or knew Steven in some way.” In other words, he said, he doesn’t believe the jury was impartial. On the subject of the taped confession of Avery’s nephew, Brendan Dassey, which was excluded from Avery’s trial, he said he later found out that one of the jurors got wind of the Dassey confession during the trial anyway.

Possibly because the jurors were not themselves directly involved in an official capacity with the department. I'm not sure. Its absurd but so is much of the case, like how a phone call that is deemed inadmissible is still used to put away Brendan Dassey or that both the bullet test and the EDTA test were invalid or inconclusive and yet were still used to condemn Steven Avery.

Continued astonishment here as I learn that Kratz attempted to stop the documentary from being made in the first place.

Those calls prove nothing other than that he called her. You could just as easily claim the reason he did that was because he knew she wouldn't answer if she knew it were him and he was trying to get this car sold for his sister. And as far as the "rape chamber" talk, you are talking about other criminals who were in the prison. Who were they? What crime were they in for? Why weren't they brought to court as witnesses to make those official statements? Not to mention that the very fact that Avery was having Teresa do this is a huge reason to claim he WOULDN'T have done it. So close to the depositions, with the lawsuit coming and having just gotten out of prison for a crime he didn't commit, with nothing in his character pointing at him being likely to commit a crime like this?

I believe one man who factually had been framed for a crime he didn't commit and then ended up being accused of yet another crime by the same people with extremely suspect handling of investigation over a random person from prison who was apparently deemed by both the prosecutor and the defense as not important enough to bring to court. As for the cat incident, I still haven't been able to look at the police report for that specific incident but I'd love to see it. However, he WAS young. The incident took place decades prior to the murder case and has no importance other than a weak attempt to characterize Steven Avery as some sort of monster. They had nothing against him other than that. No character witnesses, no changes in his behavior after being released from prison. And he had every reason NOT to commit the crime, from the impending lawsuit against the state to the fact that he was directly connected to the victim the day she went missing. It makes no sense.

Here's the thing I just can't shake about this damn train wreck. I'd understand if maybe a few cops were suspicious for reasons stated in the program. But I cannot fathom how nearly EVERY person involved in this entire case came across as the shiftiest motherfucker in the entire state of Wisconsin. Was there some sort of secret contest to find whomever could appear to be the actual guiltiest party around in this case? We had:
