Somewhere on this board there is a crime happening. Dead or alive, you're coming with me.
>Peter Weller turned down Robocop 3 to do Buckaroo Banzai
And never a better decision was made.

I hate when movies do this
Are there any films that evince the artistic sensibility of "hyperborean realism", as exemplified by the paintings of Dragoš Kalajić?
No.

pretty cool OP, thanks

You're welcome, anon.
Immortal eco-terrorist -> nihilistic guy
Gangster comitting creative, absurd crimes whose punchline is often death -> nihilistic guy
Guy with a dual personnality which good side is sometimes battling is monstrous side -> nihilistic guy
Burglar often siding with the downtrodden or for animal causes. Loves cats. Long and twisted love/hate relationship with Batman, became an anti-hero -> nihilistic burglar. Met Batman twice, tried to have him murdered then became his girlfriend when he paid her a trip to Italy
Bane : übermensch and drug addict believing his destiny is to destroy the other ultimate übermensch -> presented as a communist anarchist, then a nihilistic guy, then a cucked nihilist.
Talia : torned between the heritage of her father and her love for Batman. Raped him, had a child and turned into the worst mom ever -> nihilistic girl, daughter of nihilistic guy, cucked the other nihilist guy.
So why again is Nolan praised for his faithfulness to the comics, when Burton is often blamed for taking liberties with them ?
Seems to me that Nolan movies are above all appreciated for their dull seriousness.
I guess shameful fanboys could at last confess their love for Batman, but holy shit are these movies so fucking bland.
>protagonist calls his father "father" instead of dad
>it's a Murr has to do something horrible episode
>it's a Sal falls over and cries over nothing episode
LARRY
Alright /tv/, what's you're favorite movie watching snack and why is it popcorn?
>>85563428
Popcorn is fairly shit though.
>can't hold many interesting flavors
>shells get stuck in your teeth
>takes a fuckload of space
>loud as all fuck

>loud as all fuck
>shells get stuck in your teeth
You're just not eating it correctly. You're supposed to take a sip of coke right after you put a handful in your mouth. Takes care of these 2.
>>85563566
1, that's revolting
2, coke isn't very tasty
3, it just goes to show how shit popcorn is if you need all these terms and conditions to eat it.
What is the best tank kino and why is it The Beast (1988)?
Kosher Kino
White Tiger
girls und panzer
Vulture was an amazing villain. Best the MCU has ever had. The CGI was all the best ever put on screen. All the humor was great. Every joke landed. I'm going to see it 3 times.

Cut it out you fucking nigger.

yeah sure. now either you post in those only, or kill your worthless self
How did a blue collar clean-up crew know how to repurpose literal alien technology to make street weapons to sell to common criminals?
He hired some nerdy fat guy who used the internet. Yep movie sucked but ayy lmao, shitskins, poo and loos, manlets, for all!
>>85563271
That's all the alien tech was anyway, scrap. If you look closely at the designs, they're poorly made and loosely cobbled together out of whatever shit they could find.
Adrian Toomes had Phineas Mason (the Tinkerer), who has an "almost superhuman gift for genius engineering," working with the alien technology for eight years. It also seems like it's pretty easy to adapt the alien technology with Earth technology, considering the bad guys and Peter and his friend all do it completely on accident without even trying.
The film also takes place in a reality where a man built a robot suit in a cave with a box of scraps and a high school freshman built webshooters and web fluid from stuff he scrapped (actually, he may have been in middle school when he invented the webshooters). And furthermore, it's a reality where a chemically-enhanced super soldier, a billionaire in a robot suit, a Russian spy, a guy with a bow, a god, and a Hulk took down an alien invasion. Relax. Breathe. Take a seat. Have a cup of water.
Who was in the wrong here?
your parents for having you
Both. Nothing ever ends
Dr. Manhattan. Had he have learned to care for humanity sooner, he would have stopped Ozymandias.
Although, as Dr. Manhattan points out in the book, "Nothing ever ends". Ozymandias has not stopped World War III, he has just delayed it. The destruction of humankind is inevitable, one way or the other.
Rorschach is correct in wanting to expose Ozymandias for the murder of millions. The problem is that Dr. Manhattan would have done better just locking away Rorschach for the time being and waiting for the Cold War to fully die down before exposing Ozymandias. Doing so prematurely could harm relationships between the U.S.A. and Russia, and even send them back to war.
Was this film kino?
>>85563193
nope. It was an okay revenge story that got a bit hamfisted
>>85563193
If shitting on Amy Adams is your thing then yes.
