>Relatively seasoned travelers
>Arrive 20 Sep; depart 02 Oct: 12 days total, but effectively 8-9 days of travel (10 is pushing it)
>Planning on backpacking
>Planning on Spain/Morocco
>Is it worth it do do both countries and/or Portugal?
>What is the best way to superpack the itinerary?

We decided we're going to have a 5-city itinerary:
1. Granada
>Arrival and tour
2. Malaga
>Both head there and tour
>Find a way to get to Tangier
3. Tangier, Morocco,
>Day tour
>Stay overnight
4. Seville
>Day tour
>Train to Cordoba
5. Cordoba
>Day tour
>Train to Seville, depart
Thoughts?

We likely will not have time for Marrakesh this trip, and perhaps not Tangier nor Portugal, though would consider them. We realize not to make the mistake of getting on the ferry at Motril, and it taking it to Mellilla, without realizing it’s technically Spain, and we realize we’ll have to find a way (bus or otherwise) to Algeciras, or Tarifa if the plan is to get to Tangier.

We realize that we’re rushing spain, and that discovering the history and current life of cities like Seville and Granada take many people at least a week each

Because the old thread died, because creating this thread only pruned one that had 6 replies and hasn't been responded to in almost a month, and because there are a fair amount of people on this board that have been to, are in, or want to go to the general area of Iberia and NW Africa.
