No real idea about cosmetic procedures, other than seconding the above assertion that sex reassignment surgeons in Thailand are probably the world's best. But as someone who had major emergency surgery in an upcountry hospital, I'd say you can be confident about the quality of care. My procedure included surgery, a boatload of IV and other antibiotics, and ten days' stay in the hospital, and cost a total of $2000. This was more than a decade ago now, and it wasn't in Bangkok, which will be more expensive, but I'd be surprised if you paid more than 1/3 what you would in the West.

I feel like I'd go to thailand for routine stuff with room for large margins of error, but avoid it for delicate stuff, but I'm not sure.

I know that people from all over the world go to Thailand for procedures that get called 'facial feminization', which includes some quite delicate work. I have no interest in plastic surgery myself but would not hesitate to get it done in Thailand. It's international quality work for affordable prices.

If I was picking countries out to do such a thing, I'd pick Korea first. It might be a bit more expensive, but it probably be a better job.

Here is the the thing, you body is smarter than you are. You body wants that fat stored and that's why it's there. If you remove fat cells from that one area, the fat cells in a different area are just going to do double duty. Diet and exercise might be the best way to address this issue.

If you knew a plastic surgeon in the US, you'd be in the loop as to the complication rate from overseas surgeons, because the damaged and the crying would be beating down your door back in the US to get their unhealing wounds fixed, lopsided results, and such fixed. Where I live in Miami, most doctors see so many bad results from work done elsewhere, they refuse to treat them. Don't forget you can die under anesthesia, or code, and if you don't have a major trauma center nearby, you won't make it. I would look into the ability to get you help fast, when you make an appt somewhere.

Things like height and build are good tips. If they more physically (not style) approximate a western standard of beauty it's likely a lady boy. Height and hands are big tip offs.
