I wonder if there is a way I can also sort images in a particular users folder based on the pony colors it downloads.

since this is a pony thread it can be expected most users upload certain ponies with a particular color so if the app iterated through an exploded image array and found a predominant color pallet that matched certain ponies, it could categorize them in folders otherwise store them in some root directory.

I got mine, I do not have a dynamic IP anymore. Mine is totally static which is wierd, usually as I heard you need to pay extra for an IP that never changes but my last IP was static for 3 years, from 2011 to 2013, then on 2014-2015 it rarely changed and now in 2016- present day it remains the same, unable to be changed.

if you find yourself with the need to change an IP what I'd always do was go into my moden, unplug it and change mac addresses and plug it back in. idunno how else to get my ISP to assign me an alternate internet address.

I can't do that now it seems, got a new modem with an upgraded connection and speed and it seems i can't just change the mac and get a new address. looked into its settings and found to be what I thought was the the MAC that the ISP used and tried to change it but that didn't seem to work and I didn't bother looking further into that. mostly cause I wrote a program that helps me find proxies and test their anonymity.

your modem sounds like it could just be in routed with NAT mode, so the only one requesting the public IP address would be the modem, ergo the one that needs it's MAC changed would be the modem

whereas before the modem could have been in routed without NAT or even bridged to your own router that was routed without NAT, so the devices requesting the public IP address was the computer itself

if that isn't the case it looks like you could be stuck with static, might be worth confirming with your ISP if you care enough

Here's the thing: universities serve a vital role in training and certifying certain professionals (namely engineers, lawyers, doctors and researchers) for their professions, and we don't have any other proper institutions for doing this. We do need to fix the problem because we don't have a reasonable alternative.

Yeah, well universities are a mixed bag. Western was fairly liberal, but it's also situated in one of the most mellow cities you can find. Even when we have protests, and they do churn out in decent numbers, there's just not much enthusiasm in the chanting, and we are fortunate to not have BLM vocally bitching about the fact that the police attend every protest as an escort. There are officers in the front and back of every march to make sure nobody gets run over, and no one decides to go YOLO and break a window.

I'm going to be moving to Pullman for my PhD, and I am not sure how the political climate is. On one hand, basically 90% of the town is university students. On the other hand, it's on the conservative side of the state. I'd like to be able to see if I could use a Milo event to judge this, but it seems the one they had planned back in January was cancelled... not due to screeching SJWs, but due to inclement weather on the I-90. There's supposedly plans for him to come back, so I'm hoping to possibly see him if he comes back next academic year.

A degree in something like that has absolutely no value to society, there is nothing gained from that being a university course as opposed to a series of youtube videos.

Art can be judged by someone without a degree and nothing goes wrong. A bridge however can only be confirmed to be structurally sound by someone who has an understanding of physics, a degree is actually useful as a confirmation that the original designer and the inspector is competent.

Art courses are fucking useless in this age of information, they serve no purpose other than being a vessel for political subversion.

I do not think that transitioning from an academic model of learning to a self-teaching model is conducive to producing the next generation of creative professionals. While self-teaching can serve as a great supplement to a structured learning environment, it cannot replace all of its benefits. There is a lot that can be gained from working with other skilled artists directly, and having someone to critique your work. Moreover, university work can help build students' portfolios. There's a number of really great short animations on youtube that are actually students' term projects.

Academia as a whole isn't a bad idea. The problem is that our institutions have been abandoning their traditional values.

Yellow is the easiest colour for the human eye to see and is calming.
blue helps with focus, red is exciting.
this is why green is the default crosshair colour in counterstrike, the cross between blue and yellow helps players focus and stay calm and clearly see the crosshair on all backgrounds.
IT's also why so many pros use blue or red as opposed to the default, because it helps them stay focused/engaged etc.

Red also doesn't ruin your night vision.
