Nick considers the fetus already as THEIR child, but Judy doesn't. Not even like it exists to begin with.

So what?
1: Judy could have only cared about the sex with him or that she wasn't serious to begin with being in a relationship with Nick.
2: Somehow, someway. Judy never that they could have a child to begin with. So this must be an Au from his other works or something, since inter-baby's WERE possible. (At least from what borba has stated.)

I can see this ending a few ways.

Either Nick convinces her to go along with this pregnancy, she breaks up with him since she doesn't want to be a mother. Thus Nick will survive as a single father, and Judy is happy only with her career. (Which seems like what she wanted to begin with?) Which begs the question WHY she ever started a relationship with Nick in the first place. Unless, once again. The sex was nice and she wasn't seriously going to stay with him, but when she got pregnant she wanted to jump ship as soon as she could have.

Judy refuses to back down and either gets an abortion or gives the child(ren) over for adoption. Nick realizes that Judy never cared about Nick enough to be serious with him to begin with and leaves her. She still has her career which is what she wants, and Nick will hopefully find someone that actually cared about him.

Or they keep the child(ren) but Judy lets Nick take care of them since she doesn't care about them enough. And they will ultimately split apart, due to friction.

I can't see a happy ending to this with how much Judy doesn't want this.

Yes, I know already that Judy should have a say on being a Mother or not. But it STILL doesn't make sense why she ever started this relationship with him to BEGIN with. (What did they never talk about children to begin with!? No adoption or anything?)

Well in a way, her not caring about anyone except her job/dream? (Which is what I feel is going to be her biggest reason for wanting to take a hanger to her insides) You CAN argue that is how Judy really is, and she might not back down AT ALL.

But Nick is just WAY out there, granted we don't know how long they have been together/how long he has known her. So his character might have adapted to be far more emotive and all that, so eh.

And I am honestly expecting that by the end of this comic, and whatever the conclusion is going to be. Nick and Judy are going to look straight at the viewer and start talking like it's some kind of commentary or something. Then they both are going to start talking about the good and bad of abortion/life. And then Borba is going to have a mini essay in his description explaining his own political views and how much he wanted to use Zootopia as a platform to get them out.

I had this crazy idea that everytime Remmy left or was sleeping, the aardwolves would change places, and Remmy would first think that he was with Anneke, but then it would be a silent Wolter (just for the sake joking with Remmy).

Not saying who I am, but I wrote a fanfic for a different fandom several years ago in which canon characters convince an OC not to have an abortion. I used the characters to make a point, and I feel no guilt for doing so.

In fact, I already planned to do something similar (and far shorter, at a few hundred words) with Zootopia as well. A different idea than Borba, though.

Nice conclusion, the way it was all tied up but left room for imagination worked really well. The most mean thing I can say is that the conclusion was weaker then the main body, but then again I absolutely adored the main body.
It reminded me of an SCP log if the SCP was a furry and the researcher was someone who actually gave a shit about his subject.
As for how long it took to get fully written: I'm a Weaver fan. I can easily forgive you for being so "slow."

Hi everybody. Bore here.

Forgive the blogpost, promise it won't be too long, I'd just like to let you guys know something. It's been one year today since I first posted in these threads.

The last year has been without question the one in my life most fraught with both ecstatic highs, and at times abysmal lows. But most importantly, it was a year of substantial change and slow but certain improvement. It was both the hardest and best year of my life.

As strange at it my seem and as difficult as it may be to believe, coming here was one of, if not the single greatest catalysts of this momentous and tumultuous year. It was one of few decisions, amongst so many in my life, that I truly, invariably do not regret.
