Ol Weaver replied with a smile and a plea:

This went on for an hour or two

While ol' Weaver harvested (you) after (you)

Weaver knew that ahead of time they say

He sacrificed himself to give the thread a smile

Ol' Weaver spun round Spin for a country mile

Came a point where Weaver came right out and said

It was just a parody why do ya want me dead?

He made a big post explaining it all

And he couldn't fathom how Spin had the gall

To accuse him' of stealin' an' thievery

Even though to all who was watching it was parody

So Spin took every note she posted down

And Weaver set off for another town

It's the kind of introspection I wanted to see, and then some -- I'm actually impressed

The key detail in this situation will be whether or not Spin will take this whole event to heart and truly learn from it. Yes, you are right any child can change their attitude if they get reprimanded for it, the same thing happens with adults. What really makes a person is if they can stick with this change and not relapse into old habits.
I am all for putting the whole thing behind us; will we tease and bring up this event again? Fuck yes, but I hope both sides relax and there are no witch hunts.
I really look forward to seeing Spin perhaps grow from all this and have a healthier outlook to parodies and honest criticism.

I know SPRINKAH said they will no longer be coloring their pages of "TIWTLLL" so that it may be produced faster, and that the comic itself has "lived on longer than it should...the longer it goes, the shittier it gets."

For anyone who knows Softlight, they did a comic where Nick and Skye knew each other since high school at least, and Nick sees Skye off when she moves away. They are doing a sequel comic where Nick and Judy run into Skye after Nick becomes an officer.

I actually don't read many other comics in this fandom, they all seem to go down a melodramatic hole that they just never escape from. Only ones I'm reading currently are Inky's Shorty Squad, whatever Weaver pops out and Mead's new comic, though with that one I am waiting for the inevitable 'other shoe' to drop to see if I stick to it.

I'm not saying "RAR these comics suck and I hate them REEEE", I just don't like melodrama or edge so I usually just avoid works that rely heavily upon it.

Even Shorty Squad can run the risk of going down the melodramatic route. All three characters clearly have something wrong with them and Inky's only kinda tight lipped about that fact.

Hopefully whatever's going on isn't handled poorly, but I'm holding out hope.

Weaver's good at balancing any 'drama' with equal amounts of humor and lightheartedness, so I can dig that. Mead's I'm not sure about. It feels like it's gonna go downhill, and not just because of his track record.

My personal fear is going down the melodramatic route.

I think it's why I tend to drop stories I make before the conflict even starts because I'm so nervous that I'll make things more dramatic than intended.

But all I can do is try to handle anything like that with tact and realistically. We'll see.

Honestly though it may or my not leave a pretty sour spot when it comes to thinking about what she did and all.

But since Weaver and Spin "sat down" and had a civil chat once everything is all said and done, I am pretty sure it's finally over with.

And her most recent status update finally (after like 5 edited versions) gave a very solid and complete apology.

Sadly there looks to be one or two commenters that still want to keep it going, or make her feel even worse that she probably already feels. Hopefully there will stop, and just drop it.

After this has happened it makes me surprised yet pleased that we have happened to have so few drama bombs when it comes to the Zoot fandom.

I can only think of a few really.
There was Zeig that didn't really notice he was pretty much plagiarizing WinterBunny's works and a few others.
(Which ended with them coming to okay terms, but Zeig taking it a bit hard. He left the fandom for a bit but then came back, and he seems to be far better.)
WinterBunny wasn't able to handle all those Youtube accounts taking her works (along with others) and making money off of it and just not ever crediting the work. Which had her also leaving for a time, but she has finally came back and is back going pretty strong also.

Has there been others that had equal amount's of drama and sadness? Since I can't think of any others.

TheWinterbunny; she's an artist and she has a DA, but when she left she deleted all of her previous work, on her DA. But you can still find all of her old stuff on e621.

Both are amazing artist's and they love WildeHopps something fierce. Both do commissions and Zieg does a number of artworks for other authors of their own Fic's.

Nothing much EK. Last thread was the longest thread we ever had at 1200+ posts, since 4chan had a heart attack and was on life support for a bit. And so many other crazy things happened.

We just chilling since the dead hours are almost over with.

Unpopular opinion time:
I'm willing to give Inter Schminter a chance still. Spin has said this was going to be a huge project and I feel like the ball is just getting rolling. Each update is looking like a microscopic chunk compared to the big picture. Nick and Judy are going to investigate Max' case and the two cases are undoubtedly linked.

While the artist has flown off the handle and doesn't take criticism well at all, the apology and Weaver's acceptance is good enough for me. I'm not going to hang that over their head...

maybe he made it to get a reaction. Maybe he didn't. Either way, what began as a thread in-joke spread around the fandom and inevitably got back to Spin. Spin is known for reacting poorly and boy howdy did she ever. Language barrier aside, it was just a shitty situation for all parties involved. I really don't think Weaver is 100% innocent here, but neither is the rest of the thread for joining in on the Inter Schminter bashing. It's bernielover/Sprinkah meme mocking all over again.
Not everyone is going to take the "parody" the same way. Rambling now.. anyway.

But who the fuck cares about Red if he is a character that makes you start skimming dialogue and whatnot. Maxton was never that interesting, scars don't make you interesting, neither does being a hybrid.

I won't expect much from it, but I am also not reading it. Ever since they were on the ZPD with both talking and haha x-D funny interactions I dropped it. I find no interest in bashing her work, mostly because there are worst offenders out there, but I never stopped giving her a chance because of any reason aside from her Max shit being, quite frankly, the worst thing I've ever seen.

Also comics with this slow of a pacing and this "massive" plot more often than not never finishes or disappoints.

There are actually two different AUs, Fluent done by WildBurr, and Fluency that is inspiried by Fluent done by Artan. Fluency is more focused on the cultural differences between Nick and Judy than the languages shtick but so far shows no sign of cuck. Hell, the two have been married for more than half of the Fluency series.

Yup "Take A Stand" The Fox is Nick's Mother and within that Fic Bonnie is pratical a batshit crazy women. That threatened to disown Judy when her relationship with Nick went public.
