I eat nearly 3.5k cal a day while I'm bulking
Number one rule of weight gain is that you're never eating enought.
That goes double for if you ever feel hungry.
But that doesn't mean pig out on sugary stuff. You have to eat right
Big breakfast, protein shake after gym, lunch, second lunch, dinner, second dinner is what my meal plan normally is.
Then small stuff in between.
Was at 175 a while ago and have gone up more than 25lbs without really adding fat (I was around 20% bf when I started)
But fat is super important for diet too. Stray away from sugar, not fat.
Last, and VERY important, sleep plenty. You must have a good amount of sleep

Think like cooking. Some things need 475 for 30 minutes, some stuff needs 375 for 2 hours.
Lots of high volume also builds hypertrophy which is less functional muscle.

Make sure you don't neglected important things such as back, traps, lats, shoulders (huge one, you don't want to be caught without good shoulders), and general core stuff.
I'm sure you're getting bis and tris so I won't mention it, but when it comes to abbs (if you even want them, I'm not really that big of a fan) its mostly about getting under 10% body fat. Your abbs won't grow outward so working them only helps with core strength mostly (which is good)

Everyone is different. Height plays a huge factor, short people can get results quickly. If you're tall, it'll take a while.
My current main 4 sets are

over head press:175x1
Deadlift:335x1 (its low due to no grips and working on form)

Asuming 0 prior exercise, and you were dedicated 5-6 days a week compound progressive overload + had good diet/sleep. I'd say its no more than 3ish years lifting.
Ive been lifting for 2 years with a bit of on and off now. I'm still angry at myself for the 4-5 month break I took out of complacency.
Also most heavy set people do have a great start due to the hardest thing for most people is bulking

Thats going to be a lot of compound lifts like deads, squats, and things like farmers walks/shrugs for them shoulders/lats.
Its a natural strong man physique rather than a body builder so you wouldn't care for isolation things like curls

I'd suggest going to a gym. Most of the people I know who get home equipment end up never using it after a few months. Most people who start with a home gym are afraid of looking weak in front of others. If you feel the same way, you really shouldn't. Anyone who takes lifting or exercise seriously loves to see someone start taking the first steps. As long as you have good form, do proper full reps, and lift appropriate weight no one will ever bat an eye or think twice.

Well like I said it's just an offer if you would like to take it, engaging people in person is without a doubt the best way to improve however. A few dating sites you could try if you are in the USA is PoF, Match, OkCupid. I also tried using Pounced when I was looking which is a furry dating site, it has tons of autistic shitheads on it but I did manage to make some friends on there and even go on 2 dates that were pretty normal. You just need to be extra careful there. You could also try Grindr but from my understanding that is more for causal hook-ups rather than dating.

Qruiser. It's more aimed toward nordic people, but there are people from all over the world there. The site itself is a bit shoddy and unclear, somewhat impractical and you need to make an effort of it if you want to find specific groups and clubs there, but for all it's faults, it's still usable and helps a lot in finding people and events.
