You could always go the FO:E route and basically rip off a bunch of pre-existing stories, mix and match them together into something super edgy with "depth" that was completely lifted from better works.

That being said, as someone who writes every now and again, believe me: All you really want when you have that sinking feeling that no one will ever appreciate your work is one, maybe two people you can write for. Just one or two people who will be there and interested in the next turn of events you write down.

Even that will do the trick most of the time. Just remember that those people genuinely care, at least as much as you care about other fiction.

It felt in chracter to me. Nick and Judy's whole relationship involves a lot of giving each other crap and dedicated oneupsmanship.

Like you could take it as a prelude to the subtle, mutual "I like YOU, not just the fetish." thing they do next page, with Judy doing it to remind Nick that she's still Judy and still going to fuck with him when she gets the chance but she probably just thought it was funny.

I hope the sloshed fox shows Nick being so drunk that he forces himself on Judy in the night, forever ruining their relationship and causing Judy to feel so betrayed that she can't stay in Zootopia or the ZPD any more and goes back to Bunnyburrow, all the while Nick lamenting his awful, awful deed.
