Just watched more footage; she doesn't burn to ashes from fire hazards either. The bees in the alpine levels just flat out kill her. Also the whole thing where people claimed that disappearing when getting crushed being a beta thing is outright wrong; in the final game there's still only the laptop left when she gets crushed.

A cartoon character can recover from anything during a scene transition. Like in the Wile E. Coyote cartoons, he'd try something, get horribly hurt, then he'd be back in the next scene, trying again. Loading times are a genuine concern. They're much longer than originals and they're between every single menu. 30fps is a valid argument as well especially when they promised 60fps. We no longer use screens small enough not to notice a difference in smoothness and PS4 Pro is a powerful device and they didn't make use of it.
As for others, yes I agree they're not a reason the game is shit. The game isn't shit it's the same as ever, the remaster is shit. Nothing other than graphics and controls was improved, which in my opinion isn't a good enough reason to get it.
They didn't put any effort in this remaster and they didn't improve do anything to make older fans come back to the game unless they buy one of the pic related.

Yes, nostalgia is a legitamate reason people buy things. Im not even going to pretend thats not why I bought this. The thing is, I would actually WANT more remasters like this, where they take an older game and keep all the gameplay the same, but just give it a modern aesthetic, the problem with other remasters is that they take something that is from last gen that doesnt get much benefit or change from being remastered, and they just up the resolution, I want to see something like MedEvil or Front Mission remastered to look modern, I play them anyway but remaking them with better graphics just makes me more interested, Im fine with playing a good game again.
