I currently have Figma Corrin, Revo Arthur, Nendo Lilie, Figma Red, Nendo Ash, and all the Mario Odyssey and BotW amiibos preordered.

I also have First4Figures' Majora's Mask preordered and their Link on King of Red Lions shipped out yesterday.

I will order Nendo Guardian and Lana, along with Figma Moon when they go up. Still deciding on the fuckhuge Exeggutor. I think it's really cool to see such a large Pokemon in (rough) scale with my other figures, but at the same time, the price tag is hard to justify. Then again, the F4F statues were around the same, so who knows?

Also this castle playset sucks because there's nothing behind the castle and costs $30-$40 depending if you bought it with extras or not. Jakks should have at least added little slots in the back so you can store extra figurines.

The deluxe set is 'worth' the price, you get 5 figures+4 accessories. That said, you're likely getting repeats and you only get 2 Command compatible hooks for 5 different points that need them (which makes no sense).

Plus, for a line that's been surprisingly good about scale, this one's all over the place. I'd say the castle fits with the dead Micro Land playsets(probably was going to be a deluxe set that never got finished), the two blocks are scaled well for the 4-inch Mario, and the flag looks fine with the 2.5-inch. It's a shame, I'm a sucker for playsets and I really want some good ones out of Jakks, but while their figure pricing is passable, this is overpriced. The castle itself is a facade that can only hold a few figures inside the doors(though probably plenty of the Micros).

So, I missed the release of bayonetta amiibo. Looking at stores, apparently is out of stock everywhere, and the only available options are scalpers charging for twice the original cost.

It's a first production run thing, not a "first run then a re-issue not having it" thing.

Finally got around to opening my BoTW nendo. Not sure what's up with me recently but i think that, because i'm running out of space, i'm finding it harder to enjoy my collecting. If Jakks wanted to, and if they ever do the Super and Fusion suits they could outright have a SA-X vs Samus two pack.
But Nintendo would've eaten them alive considering the SA-X and Prime 3 suits are nothing alike outside of just, being the varia suit.

Found an Inkling girl today at Target. Some glue residue is on her hair but that seems to be the only issue. I plan to find another one in the future hopefully and mod it.

Not sure if this counts as /toy/, but I got this N64/Tommy Hilfiger hacky sack at some promo event they had at Von Maur way back in 1997 (I think it was for Wave Race 64 or some other racing game).

So it kind of seems to be the case based on the image, but can you tell if your inkling's eyes are misaligned from the sculpt of the brow? Mine seem to be printed a bit high and I'm curious as to whether it's a common problem.

On a similar note, I also got an inkling boy with the fixed blue tank, and realized his eyes are printed a bit differently from the orange tank. I wish the girl was nearly as good as the boy, as I honestly think he might be the best WoN release.

I finally found fucking Inkling Girl at Target, now to wait an entire year or so for Iggy to show up and then 21XX for the rest of the Koopa Kids.

Sorta lame WoN 4 inch is phased from Walmart completely (you'd be lucky to find a location that stocked any...) and Target got ride of the 2.5 inch line except for a large pack of retros.

Once the characters have some other amiibo release, almost never. Link, Zelda, and Toon Link all have newer figures in the BotW and 30th Anniversary series, so take that as you will.

The articulation is really stiff and really janky, it's hard to make her do any sort of poses unless you get a stand to hold her up. The ink tank also gets in the way of the head articulation. Feet can move side to side. Still love mine nonetheless, it looks really good for a $9 figure.

Look at the amiibo, it should be a hell of a lot closer to that. The WoN inkling is bigger than the amiibo, but the gun is smaller. shows how far off it is. The amiibo is proportioned pretty accurately.

It's more like a sticker- I believe what that anon means is that the first runs of those amiibo were released for the Zelda anniversary or whatever so they had a sticker on them saying so. New ones don't, so the first run with the sticker are probably going to be pricier on the secondhand market.

Another anon here, the ZSS figma is the figure I could've done without most in my collection.
There's outright nothing to her that's interesting, it has everything a other m zero suit samus would need but it just didn't do anything for me. I can't even say "oh it's the other m design that does it" either because outside of being a wo-manlet and the heels it's not even noticeable. They even downplayed the uniboob.
It's just not fun to pose, it's lacking torso articulation and lack of a neck joint kill it more then anything. If you do get one try to get it for like, 45$ shipped at most and even that's pushing it.
