I'll say this, its plenty strong, but I got the feeling it was chosen for its durability, some of the clearances could of been better but the paint may be stronger to handle that

Overall I like what they've done here, the last mp I've transformed was mp36, fuck that shit, this guy had plenty of "oh I see how that works" and "ah that's clever", marred by a few small imperfections.

Its easy to tell who of the 2 brands was in charge of the cheapness, look at the box, the abuse of diecast just to bump up the premium feel, it was has...

This thing cost 25,000yen, its a limited edition, and he's essentially factionless with a bland trailer, missed opportunity not having the "silver" streak part of the trailer painted green.

They should of had the 711 markings on his shoulders as tampo prints AND THEN have the autobot logos as stickers, I get he's meant to double as "white prime" ultra magnus but this cheapens the effect, considering a bootleg redeco of mp10 came out before this really pisses me off.

I have him. He's pretty neat. Transforms really good. You have to supposedly be careful playing around with transforming his chest. I've heard a number of people ham hands the part that opens up for the matrix, breaking the little door for it, but I've never broken mine. I'm also not sure how common it is on diecast, mine has a tiny unnoticeable spot on his crotch where it looks like a dot of paint flaked off. It arrived that way, but again you can't notice unless you really eyeball Prime's crotch.

He's a good figure and he's Voyager scale, so he's big but not horribly huge next to a Deluxe.

I like chrome, I look the look of chrome, only one time have I passed on chrome and was because it was a model kit that I wanted to topcoat but the topcoat melted it off so I stripped it clean and painted it myself.

Is 80$ a solid price for the first and second waves of the Beast Wars 10th Anniversary line, all of them MIB? They're 7 figures (counting with Transmutate) all looking in great shape with the original packaging for each, and the buyer is also throwing in a loose Polar Claw as a bonus for having bought stuff with him before. 80$ for 8 toys that usually cost ~35$ each when MIB on Ebay doesn't sound bad at all.

Since someone finally did a summary, here's the Legends Black Convoy chapter in full.

Prologue:

Somewhere in space, Black Convoy leads the Combatrons and Gelshark in an attack on Neo Brave Maximus, headquarters of the Autobot Dimensional Patrol. The Autobots launch the Super Spy Changers for a counterattack, but their damage to the enemy ship's engines causes it to crash into Maximus, allowing their foes entry into the base.

It states that both Arcee and Magnus will both be getting a wider release so Magnus is not a convention exclusive. He's just like Hotrod and Thunderwing

this is just what the Autobots had been hoping for: as soon as Black Convoy combines with one of the drones, Dark Ai enters its cockpit and installs the backup data, restoring Black Convoy to his "normal" self. Turning against the Dimensional Patrol, he helps the Autobots drive Skids and the protoform soldiers out of the Legends Universe.
In the aftermath, Black Convoy restores the other Combatrons and prepares to return home, now in command of new drone soldiers captured from the Patrol. He considers conquering the Legends Universe first, but writes it off as a joke when the Autobots train their guns at him. Dark Ai punishes him for the jest with an electrical whip while teaching him that the enemy of your enemy is your friend, surprising Rattrap with the fact that she's the domineering one of the two.

The 3 trucks are pretty nice, Long arm easily the best, I love his facesculpt and you can remove the screw in his hand to make the rifle optional, Dropkick in second, not as good face but his fender knuckles make up for it, and third for Payload, avoid Swindle at all cost, his waist panel just flops everywhere, doesn't have any kind of peg, head is pretty much solid cause everything blocks its rotation, shoulder doors are fragile, has some of the most akward looking feet and his hands can't hold anything.

I have an enormous nostalgic bias for Dreadwing, actually. He was my first TF jet and he's pretty awesome in that regard, a pity the robot has so many fuck-awful design choices. Payload isn't all that bad imho, the giant stick on his back is incredibly retarded but both his robot and vehicle mode look relatively solid and sturdy. And yeah, I also own the Final Stand version of Longarm, not thinking about displaying him next to the other ones though since he isn't a Decepticon and doesn't look at all like his in-game version.

Oh well, guess I'll be getting Dropkick then. And no love for Swindle? I got the Camshaft repaint off a junk lot a few years ago and he fells like an okay 2007 mold to me.

Despite the gimmick, I actually like Payload. I only have Dreadwing because a friend gave him to me, he's fucking terrible but I love how he and Payload and Swindle look as a mono-eyed team. Dropkick is also pretty great as a random Genericon, and Longarm is fun as long as you remove the screw in his palm and be careful with the shoulder panel hinges.

Dreadwing: good jetmode, eh-bot mode, still kinda fun.

Payload: Great truck mode, decent transformation, intrusive gimmick that sticks out all the way behind his back.

Swindle: Good car mode, Alright Robot mode, I kinda dig him quite a bit. Gave him neck surgery so his head could look around better.

Dropkick: Great truck mode, excellent robot mode, lame truck bed weapon scissors that can be tossed aside. Honestly, if he had thigh swivel and Bicep swivel he'd be perfect, aside from his shoulders not pinning in securely, though they don't ruin the bot due to the struts being strong enough to keep them in place.

Longarm, Great truck mode, fiddly transformation when getting everything back into truck mode, love the robot, unscrewed the gun that is attached to his hand.

You ever go back to a figure after not touching it for a while and rediscover how excellent it is? MP-10 has been at the back of my shelf for a while, and there's been so much negativity towards it mostly because it doesn't really look like the cartoon, but fuck that noise. It looks amazing. It has a couple of little shortcomings, like limitations in the knees and elbows, but it's extremely overlookable given how generally awesome the entire package is. Really, for a figure that's 6 years old, it's pretty damn stellar.

QC wise I got an exceptionally shitty Bee and a slightly-above-average prime based on the reports of others. I have a love-hate relationship with both, though I think people say Prime has worse QC due to the seemingly universal transformation issues stemming from warped door, hood and roof panels.

Really all they had to do with Prime was use slide clips to connect the windscreen to the forearms instead of simple friction tabs to bruteforce past the tolerance issues and people would have been jacking off the figure like the second coming of Christ. Aside from the vehicle mode not tabbing together it's not even a contest compared to the RoTF, and this is coming from someone who was considering skipping Prime due to having RoTF.

I picked him up when I found the reissue at TRU yesterday and while I was never really planning to get him, I'm so glad I did. He's not perfect but he's still a pretty elegantly designed figure. Transformation is complex enough to be interesting, simple enough to be fun and encourage just flipping him back and forth between modes, and it doesn't leave glaring seams or joints in either mode. He looks great, feels nice and hefty, and is fun to play around with and pose. I do not understand why he's getting so much flack recently.

Quickswitch worked from Sixshot and Sixknight shared the mold with him originally. The only mode that is completely different is Car mode vs Boat mode. But you can even fanmode a boat mode out of the new Sixshot.

The helmet there's no excuse for - they had it designed and showed it in renders. But as far as overall appearance and mold go. I think it's a good representation of the character. He's incredibly minor - there is no chance in hell Quickswitch would ever get a brand new leader class mold. Only if it was a Takara initiated move for Sixknight - which even then I'm sure they would opt for a retooling of the Sixshot mold. It's just more realistic on what we could actually get.

At least the Accessories of that previous KO are pretty solid so I use them on the REAL and LEGIT G1 Grimlock (no accessories) that I bought locally. Ironically payed 60$CAN too.

Overall, that's the full price of an authentic G1 Grimlock 100% complete, but all accessories are KOs.

Obvious lesson is obvious, but any and all G1 "Reissues" that come in G1 boxes from China are low quality KOs. Never buy those.
