Old thread is dead.

it's on fucking page 2.
Thoughts on the die-cast cars? I think they look nice, but when you consider Alternators was a thing 10 years ago, and this basically means they won't revive Human Alliance for the movie toys...

Onslaught?

It hit the BUMP limit, newfag. There is no posting limit. People can still see the thread in the catalog easily and you don't need to make a new thread the second it hits 300 replies.
hahaha I love the headmaster gimmick xD
doublecross is totally a better toy now because I can put the little unpainted robot sitting in the opaque block in his alt mode!!! even though i can't even see the robot sitting there this totally adds a ton of playability wow
it totally better because the unpainted robot can partsform and go into alt mode where you can't even see it!!! xDDD

Got LG Godbomber on the way, but because the royal don't deliver on the weekend and because it's a bank holiday on monday, I'll probably need to wait until wednesday/thursday to get him, just glad he's cumming.

I finally got around to picking up MP cheetor and he's alright. Maybe not so solid next to primal, but he'll do. Holy fuck though, are the little blue tabs to hold his shoulders together supposed to be this terrible? I've been messing with him on and off all morning and I still can't get them to stay together.
Also I can see how people were breaking his shoulders, the vertical swivel there is tight as hell. Is there a way to loosen them?
>>6347863
I think doublecross ruins good ideas with terrible execution just fine without taking into account headmasters, thank you very much.

>>6347949
I haven't had any issue with those shoulder tabs. I almost find it hard to believe you have an MP Cheetor with a loose joint.
>>6347988
They're not loose, per say, more that they just won't tab all the way in in the first place. Honestly that's more annoying than anything, I can just turn his shoulders around so the screw is in front and it becomes pretty ignorable. The actual swivel, on the other hand, is scary as hell.
>>6347863
Doublecross only issue is the lack or wrist rotation.
>>6347995
I'm not sure if they're supposed to tab perfectly flush actually. And yeah the swivel joint there is pretty nerve wracking at times. It's a metal rivet too so it's really not able to be loosened

As someone who has been on 4chan since 2006 or 2007 (i forget), it's perfectly acceptable to start a new thread when the bump limit is hit.
Only newfags care about the catalog, so not everyone uses it or even cares to check.
A thread being bumped up to page one ensures new blood to come into the threads and keeps all threads from being circlejerking, no n00bsallowed, oldfag, shitholes.
Of course, Generals in general allow that festering to happen anyway.

Would be cool if they made it so each figure had an armor/robot/alt-mode and could combine with any other figure of the same class.
Imagine an Omega Prime that could be an armored up Optimus or an armored up Magnus, or hell have Megatron become Optimus's armor.
Paint distribution on toys is something I'll never understand.
Why did not make the front of TR Kup's vehicle mode the same color as the rest of the cockpit?
>>6348506
>omega prime
don't you fucking go there, anon! >:o
>>6348539
The same reason why almost nothing of Brainstorm is molded in the right color and instead slathered in paint.
Bad planning.
>>6348542
That's the thing, planning for what? If this mold was still used for Orion, I'd use the same color distribution for the cockpit section, and Takara seemed to keep that whole section in the same color (which is weird since the front in their version is not the same color as the rest of the cockpit).
At least in Brainstorms case, I can say it's because they planned the retool at the last minute or something.
>>6348547
>That's the thing, planning for what?
Nothing. Thats why it's bad planning, because they obviously didn't plan anything out properly.
>>6348542
>>6348553
>bad planning
No, you faggot. It has to do with it being cheaper and more efficient to cast parts in different batches and then just fucking paint them, especially when you consider molds are often used for multiple characters and color combos, it isn't cost effective to keep altering the sprues.
Why is this fandom so dumb?
>>6348542
Is the TF fandom the only sub-culture of toy enthusiasts that thinks paint is bad?
>>6347915
Thrilling 30 Springer from eBay.
>>6348564
Paint isn't bad. Casting an entire part in the wrong color, when the part is going to be subject to friction and transformation scraping, is bad. Coating an entire figure head to toe in paint, is bad.
>>6347915

>>6348554
>fandom
Hello /r/eddit, go away.
>>6348564
To be fair, regular action figures using paint don't usually have to shapeshift, and while most tranformers avoid the issue of paint coming off due to the transformation, it still comes up from time to time.
>>6348554
As pointed out earlier the cockpit being all done in one color would make sense for any reuse of the mold (which is pretty much just Orion Pax, we don't exactly have many choices for that Kup mold).
>>6348571
>when the part is going to be subject to friction and transformation scraping, is bad.
But there aren't really any painted parts on any TR figures that are subject to heavy friction. The paint seems to be quite durable. I don't see a single bit of scratching on any of my TR molds.
>Coating an entire figure head to toe in paint, is bad.
I cannot think of a single Transformer that has been coated in paint "head to toe". The whole anti-paint thing seems to have really gotten out of hand in the past year. We used to get figures with lots of paint, all the time, and nobody every pitched a hissyfit about it like this. I certainly don't recall anyone protesting any of the early MP cars, which all had pretty extensive paint jobs.
Is it normal if I don't give a shit about Jazz, and want Porsche to cool their tits over "muh machines of war" so we can get an MP Cliffjumper?
MP21R isn't good enough for me.
>>6348554

some back parts were mis-assembled on some, also the paint flakes and peels off when you look at the figure with your left eye, and many of them had a waist/hip joint thing going on where it was tight to the point of breaking if you didn't loosen the screws first.
>>6348892
Ok, good to know. So loosen the hips with a philip's screwdriver, and do some research on what parts need to be reassembled.

Agreed. *Most* of the figs of non-screen characters were good. Or at least a cute novelty (like the toaster-demon). I liked designs like Breakaway/Thrust there that had different from standard designs WITHOUT going shredded metal junkart the main char figs did.
Still salty the concept of a Decepticon armored truck to steal valuables got ruined by that stupid gimmick plunger sticking out of the figure's backside though.
>>6349042
You mean the clusterfuck that decided to slam three movie plot together for a second time? The ones who were slapped onto a franchise ten years after it started to turn it into a cinematic universe by shoving as much lore into it as possible while throwing away continuity again? The ones who decided to do the 'Ancient Transformers have shaped human history' for the fifth time?
This movie is going to be an incoherent mess of conflicting ideas that will coast off a stupidly high Chinese box office. The only good thing about this movie is that it can't be totally given away by trailers because they all look like they're from 3 different movies.

>>6348793
Shame the rest of the movie aerialbots didn't get figures, they look cool in the DOTM game, also Warpath. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpjAZDrrvRk

I fucked up again!

>decent
You're an idiot.
>>6349089
So all I have to do is offer prices a few pennies less the rest and you'll throw hundreds of dollars at me no matter how poor my performance and reputation are?
>>6349082
Actually China did IV a favor because for obvious reasons.
TF5 at least is actually backtracking with the Ark and the Harvester being shown, Barricade coming back and Optimus getting off world hallucinations and scenes.
Also new writers mean new writers, like for the first time since TF1 we have the Ironman 1 writers doing it.
>>6349095
It technically was, in regards to the Bayformers series rather than as a movie itself. DOTM pretty much was the most coherent movie in the whole series, and that's not saying much.
>>6349096
Premium collectables was fine at first, I was one of the lucky ones who got their mp ramjet without hassle despite one poor sob getting a refund months later (mind you my ramjet was missing a piece but nothing detrimental unlike some others).
Its because they tried to expand into the global market rather than sticking to local australian trade that problems happened, NOW they're trying to fuck over the customers saying WE want cheap prices and therefore are ok with the long wait times for products, but over 6 fucking months for mp primal is beyond retarded.
And their listing for mp sunstreaker is a tell tale sign, along with their promotion where you get a discount code if you post proof you got something from them recently, that they bit off more than what they could chew.
And people are still throwing money at them despite the wait times
>>6349095
The second half of 3 was great
>>6349099
They also got the writers from Black Hawk down and the cinematographer of John Wick, so expect good action
>>6349107
It's obvious flaw howevever is that the cameras never showed the Autobots getting caught, and they only made a dent of relevance when Shockwave was getting mowed down by the humans.
Still, I liked it for Optimus and Sentinel, not much for anyting else.
>>6349109
>Good action
Nah, that still depends on how much Bay is willing to do bot on bot action. So far we have confirmed
-Prime vs Infernoci (looks good)
-Purple-eyes Prime vs Megatron (looks good)
-Purple-eyes Prime vs Bee (looks good)
-Megatron vs Hound (Too little footage to tell)
and little to nothing of the Decepticons and the remaining Autobots.
>>6349114
Hot Rod is with Hound when he's fighting Megatron
There's also:
-Bumblebee vs Barricade
-Aerial battle with Hot Rod and Bumblebee flying the (decepticon?) ships while Hound is on the surface with humans
-Megatron attacking Cades junkyard which might lead to him fighting Grimlock
Also webm related looks like it'll be a pretty big fight
>>6348660
>haha just use your imageenashun with the unpainted little robot! XD
I feel like you could make this comment about every Transformer from the past few years.

>>6349125

>>6349266
The helmet could still come off on a smaller head, maybe they made it bigger so kids wouldn't lose the helmet.
>>6349132
Geewunner here.
Headmasters are cute I'll admit, I only wish they gave the option to keep them attached in head mode when the robot body is in vehicle mode.
Other than that gripe, the toys are decent enough, though I only own Triggerhappy.
>>6349132
not with those colors
>>6349288
>I only wish they gave the option to keep them attached in head mode when the robot body is in vehicle mode
I guess I'll just never understand this. Does it really bother people so much that the head is a separate robot? I mean, there's even a canon explanation for why they're separate.
>>6349288
But they all have closed cockpits. You literally cannot lose the head if you just stuff it in the cockpits.
>>6349266
>His helmet comes off.
Have we had any other helmetformers since the Pretenders?
>>6349334
Perceptor doesnt.
>>6349334
I think it's more that some people are just really triggered by the head being a separate piece, especially on characters who are not canonically headmasters, I guess. I think a lot of old fans are still just irrationally angry at Headmasters for being the first major change to G1. A very old case of "not muh".
Meanwhile, I'm too busy having fun.

>Meanwhile, I'm too busy having fun.
>>6348087

>>6348958
Not counting the Choro-Q toy, that can be filed under "awesome things we'll never get because Transformers collectors care more about accuracy and canon than cool toys". I really wish there were another high-end Transformers toyline besides MP. I'd say we could fall back on retail stuff, but lately the geewunners have been getting flustered about EVERYTHING not being strictly G1-accurate.
>>6348979

>>6348418
>new cyberkeys
>still G1 only, no unicron trilogy
>>6349370
>especially on characters who are not canonically headmasters
the problem here is that they made the 86 movie cast with an added line gimmick AGAIN instead of actual headmaster characters like say, Sideways. But that's not G1, so we can't have that.
>>6349414
Yeah, we should at least have gotten the Animated Headmaster as a Titan Master.
>>6349414
But Headmasters are G1.
Apparently Combiner Wars was going to be way more G1 and simultaniously crazier. Seems they wanted the line to go on longer than it did looking at Trion and the Quintessons.
What's most suspicious was Emiliano Santalucia tagged it with #toydesign. Must have been before the Ward cut the budget.
>>6349495
that menasor is all i want...the one we got was kind of a mess.
Anyone knows if Deformation Robot Factory is really confirmed dead?
I found one of their listings from a while back and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it other than their store being completely empty but that listing still being around.
>>6349448

>>6348636

>>6348923

Yes, that's kind of how human psychology works - if one of our peers vehemently expresses dislike or distaste for something we like, something inside us does react whether we want to or not.
Incidentally, your opinion is shit and reflects an abysmal misunderstanding of the '-Master' concept.
>>6349128
Really? Hound still has belt-fed ammunition on his arms when he's riding with Washington?
>>6349370
>especially on characters who are not canonically headmasters
I don't mind this complaint, and honestly this was something that originally turned me off from titans return as well, but it's a neat gimmick and no where near as intrusive as having quad-changing deluxes with giant pegs was in CW.
When people call it partsforming they have no fucking clue what bad partsforming really is.
>>6349542
>When people call it partsforming they have no fucking clue what bad partsforming really is.
By their definition, a weapon that stows away in either mode is partsforming.
>>6348645
Why do you try to make it sound like a bad thing, though? Paint looks better than bare plastic, and the paint that Hasbro uses on its retail shit is actually extremely durable. There doesn't need to be a reason for paint. It looks better than plastic. This is why most high-end toys get paint. This is why people paint models.
>>6349542
>it's a neat gimmick and no where near as intrusive as having quad-changing deluxes with giant pegs was in CW.
This. I wonder why people bitching about the TR gimmick is so much more prevalent than bitching about CW was. Combiner wars compromised each individual toy to facilitate combined modes that looked like shit and could barely pose or stand up. At least TR adds playability to each figure instead of diminishing it in the name of some autism-pleasing gimmick. Hey, at least people finally got their Menasor and Superion, though! TF collectors seem to be more about checking things off a list than actually wanting fun toys.
>>6349574
>I wonder why people bitching about the TR gimmick is so much more prevalent than bitching about CW was
Trolling. Thats it. Stop responding to it.
>>6349563
>Why do you try to make it sound like a bad thing, though? Paint looks better than bare plastic
That part is subjective at best. I do prefer bare plastic to paint when it comes to large sections of a toy. Take the MMC Not-Predacons for example, or TFC's Not-Seacons. They're mostly bare plastic, and they look damn nice. They have paint where it is appropriate: Detailings, some swaths that couldn't be solid plastic all the way through, etc.
In Brainstorm's case it's certainly odd the way he was painted, most of him could've easily been plastic cast in the right colors.
>>6349370

Don't let it be a tie.
>>6349542
>>6349574
>and no where near as intrusive as having quad-changing deluxes with giant pegs was in CW.
not really. With CW you can ignore the gimmick entirely and it doesn't affect the toy. With TR you're forced to do it whenever you transform the toy.
Also CW at least MADE updated versions of all the 5 man vehicle based combiner teams in G1, which sort of justified all the non-combiner character retools. With TR meanwhile you have a handful of molds that Warden is using just using to fill his Rebirth wet dream instead of actually doing any of the Headmaster Juniors, or Snapdragon and Apeface.
The gimmick itself isn't that fun either, I only really enjoy it on Hardhead because he doesn't have that retarded hollowed out gun thing they like to do and the gimmick actually makes SENSE for someone to pilot his shoulder turret. On shit like Doublecross or Astrotrain it adds nothing to the toy and it's just pointless partsforming.
>>6349639
>or Snapdragon and Apeface
Maybe we'll get'em in box sets? Failing that, theres always 3P's.
>>6349641

>>6349134
>i dont know anything about the character thoug

of ass
So what's the best way to clean shit off Transformers? I just ordered a lot for cheap but turns out the guy was degenerate and smoked inside so there's a gross film all over everything.
I've been soaking them in warm/lukewarm soapy water then brushing them with a toothbrush, drying them with paper towel, and sticking them in front of a dehumidifier. That's been working great but now there's some with electronics so the soak method isn't ideal. Should I just scrub them in that case?
>>6349675
Oh god... this is a different shade but its on the same spectrum... oh god...
>>6349687
Nah, it's not the plastic itself, it's the molding and tolerances. The plastic rings are a bit too thin on the yellow outer part and the metal pin might be a bit too big, and combined it causes them to crack. The red bits supposedly hold up, but they're a softer plastic.
Also a heads up for anyone/everyone, but Amazon has Legends Class TR Brawn's for MSRP (aka: $10 bux). Ordered one myself.
>>6349684
Soaking isn't very ideal anyway, as a lot of TF's use metal pins and you'll be making them rust if you soak'em like that.
>>6349660
Serves you right you prejudice fuck
>>6349306
>I mean, there's even a canon explanation for why they're separate.

>>6349696
God now I'm just having flashbacks of that guy who dropped his MP Wheeljack in the toilet...
So combiners, the headmasters...
Whats next? Pretenders or Micromasters?
The gimmick should be that they are all suddenly humans
and it's just action figures of dudes
and this is a backdoor for the return of GI Joe
yeah
>>6349639
>With CW you can ignore the gimmick entirely and it doesn't affect the toy
>people actually think this
The gimmick of CW caused a line-wide decrease in quality. All transformations were incredibly simplified and cookie-cutter, and it facilitated endless repaints. Just because the gimmick wasn't as apparent as a removable head doesn't mean that it didn't affect the toys. The CW line would have never seen toys as clever as Topspin, Kup or Triggerhappy with the compromise of needing to combine. Not in a million years.
>>6349821
Only works if they're LC, and by then if they have a new Optimus mold, they should have Peter Cullen as the human likeness.
>>6349821
>transformers that don't transform
>>6349832
Given the giant ball-ache that transformations cause among the core of the collectors through paint scratching, limiting articulation and accuracy, and general compromise, I think non-Transforming toys are the way to go for most geewunners
>>6349337
Classics Jetfire and the CW Leader class had masks/helmets
>>6349825
You people realize that combiners are better off with simple transformations, right?
3P combiners have a thousand steps from one mode to the other and they are both a bore to transform and mediocre at combining. Sixty fucking dollars combiner limbs that can't even scramble or that look like shit or that just aren't limbs are too common in 3P to be asking of HasTak to follow their failures as an example.
My only complaint with CW was the ridiculous amount of idiotic repaints and lazy retools and how ugly some molds were, but for a line of fully articulated modern combiners aimed at retail it wasn't bad at all.
>>6349608
>prefer bare plastic to paint
You're either insane or a contrarian troll, but either way, you're a fucking credit to the TF fandom.
>>6349848
The argument here is not about what's best for combiners. The argument is that the gimmick of CW negatively affected the individual toys. Which it did.
This is justifying the compromises of CW because "muh combiners" while condemning the gimmick of headmasters just because it's not canon to most robots, despite the fact it has facilitated more creative toys than we've seen in retail for years.
>>6349852
Anon, where have you been? Paint is the devil.
What do you guys think of this configuration? I'm not sure yet.
>>6349857
It really only affected a couple of molds (lambor mold, tank mold, truck mold, pickup mold) every other mold was fine and holds up even outside of the team.
What was really shitty about CW was how some figures weren't even acceptable representations of some characters, mold fatigue, and how the retoolings prevented us from getting recreations of some of the G1 transformation schemes that were interesting like Streetwise's.
>>6349868
Interesting, but needs more dakka

The metal pins and screws used for most TFs are galvanized, they can resist some moisture. Spring pins ("hollow pins") will rust though, they are found in higher end toys.
Really wish there was a way to get some spare Legends Kup arms.
It's the only beef I have with Hasbro Kup, it doesn't have that Metropolis-ass look to it with those shitty square arms.

>>6349448
I think we should have gotten a purple cerebros w/ different faceplate, how cool would that have been?
>>6349946
Would have been pretty gay. Let Animated stay dead and buried.
>>6349946
Eh, then you could only use it with Fort Max.
>>6349852
"I was particular about constructing it using the colours of moulded parts. You will notice it when you see the actual item. This is not only because of the cost, but I also wanted it to be a toy that you can play with freely without worrying about chipping the paint."
>>6349946
I think a Headmaster toy would work pretty well as a TM Vehicle set. Like you have a vehicle mode that's basically just a skull that you can slot a TM into to give it a face, and the "vehicle" is designed to grab onto various shapes and sizes of heads so you can use it on pretty much anything. And I guess it would also have to turn into a gun or something else too.
At what point does g1 accuracy hurt a toy rather than add to it's appeal? Can a toy be too g1?
I doubt anyone cares, but I just realized RID Skywarp actually has two nice Decepticon symbols tampo'd onto his wings, so he's one of the very few RID figures that still have faction symbols if you decide to peel off the sticker.
>>6349964
Or they could just use better paint and clearcoat. Just a thought.
One last hour.
pls vote thank you
http://www.strawpoll.me/13063796
>>6349973
I don't think this is a good example of "too G1". Omega's model wasn't very derpy and FT's execution is pretty great. If this was "too G1" his face would be enormous, both arms a little smaller and the thighs would be nearly the same thickness as the legs.
>>6349973
See things like this seem like examples of when you actually try to make the G1 design work a little better. That's cool.
I'm not really sure how the hell it transforms without it being dumb, though, because just looking at the cartoon transformation makes it look like you have to straight up take stuff off to make some sense of it.
>>6349973
>Can a toy be too g1?
Judging by the last handful of MP figures, I'd say so.
>>6349973
When they start sacrificing aesthetics and engineering for obsessive geewun accuracy rather than doing what works, what might work better, or making slight stylistic changes that are still wholly based off the originals and would satisfy people anyway. They don't need to be slavishly accurate to g1 for it to be good.
>>6349984
FT 20 just comes to pieces and reassembles as the alt mode. There's no other way to do it. The animation model did the same thing.

Flea markets rule for finding spychangers, there's always one or two in the gigantic hot wheels bins you find there.
Of course you do kinda have to put your hands in a massive bin of hot wheels at a flea market, which is comparable to sticking your hands in an open, rotting animal carcass hygiene-wise.
>>6350030
There is a difference between making something 2ft tall because it is a play set for kids, and making something 2ft tall and cost like $600 because it needs to be in scale with an adult collectable line.
>>6349069

You guys ever have a moment where you go back to a figure you got a year or two ago and you realize you didn't give it nearly enough credit? I liked him at the time, sure, but he was sandwiched between Ironhide, Shockwave and the Ultra Magnus reissue, so I feel like I didn't fawn over him enough. He's pretty fuckin' great.
>>6350078

>>6349660
Yep. Me and a buddy both got ours broken out of box too.
>>6350096
I thought it did, too, but it's one of those things that really doesn't look bad in hand. FT's looks nice, but the fake-out chest piece is a bigger turn-off to me than a flat chest.
>>6350072
You actually didn't miss him, there are simply none of them in the convention. Mine was a special order from a vendor that I knew had them and because I've been asking him about it for like 2 years now and this is the only time he finally remembered to bring 1 in for me, he only sold it to me at $50.
I believe this is the first time he sold any of his Lio Convoys in 2 years because they simply just left it in their storage from what I know. It's not on their site and he said he never displays them on their store.
>>6349871
The planes kind of suffered a little bit.
And Motormaster's combiner mode was kinda garbage because the shoulders falling apart and wonky hips, though his bot and alt mode.
The combaticon set is pretty fun and solid though.
>>6350108
>The planes kind of suffered a little bit.
They were samey but that's to be expected of the aerialbots. They were pretty solid figures outside of that.
>And Motormaster's combiner mode was kinda garbage because the shoulders falling apart and wonky hips, though his bot and alt mode.
Truck mold. The truck mold was among the most damaged by the gimmick.
>>6350088
Really wish he had gotten some alternate faces, though. That's one thing that new MPs are doing that I fully support. Hot Rod would be a lot better with a nice, defiant smirk.
>>6350117
Seems kind of weird he didn't have any, honestly. Did he just BARELY miss out on the multiple faceplates train or something?
>>6349848
Haven't checked out TFC Poseidon have you?
>>6350134
It seemed to be infrequent at the time. I suppose it hadn't been decided as a requisite feature on MPs. Plus they might have prioritized his little flip-out visor dealie over giving him swappable faces, I guess.
>>6349852
Bare plastic molded in the proper means no paint scratching off during transformation.
But we still want paint apps.
>>6349986
So show accuracy is only bad when it's G1, got it. G1 must compromise to everything else.
>>6350146
>Bare plastic molded in the proper means no paint scratching off during transformation.
But high-quality paint apps and not hamhanding your toy ALSO means no paint scratching off during transformation.
Seriously, I've TRIED to scratch the paint on my LG Brainstorm and I fucking can't. It's like armor. Takara just needs to not cheap out.
>>6350148
>So show accuracy is only bad when it's G1
Well, yeah, because G1 was lazy models drawn by slave labor in Korea.
In all honestly, accuracy is bullshit. I don't care what is accurate to what. Focus on making the best toy possible and fuck accuracy.
Where do you guys typically put your transformers that you don't have room to display?
I need a storage method that'll keep them easily accessible and won't break them.
Has anyone in these threads really complained that one of these toys wasn't G1-accurate enough?
Like, all I ever seem to see are people bitching about "those geewuners".
>>6350148
When you have a style as nightmarishly inconsistent as the original G1 transformers, yes only drawing your inspiration from one thing (which is already inconsistent on its own) is bad.

I've got a shoe box in my closet that I toss things into. I very recently put away a few of my duplicate MP molds to make room, and I just put them in another box with some cloth padding in between so they don't scratch each other.
>>6350163
>Where do you guys typically put your transformers that you don't have room to display?
The fucking trash.
>>6350179
So fucking edgy XD
>>6350149
Are you implying that mp megs multiple paint issues are either poor quality paint or hamhanding. He's too expensive for the former and the reports too numerous for the latter, unless you're implying everyone now has hamhands.
>>6349760
Some have reported floppy hips and the ankle joints are almost useless, it also has stickers on mold detail. Other than those problems, many say it's like the G1 toy with joints all over, that may good/bad depending on you.
>>6350196
>the toy is expensive, so they clearly didn't use low-quality paint!
I remember when I was this naive.

Ziploc bags in whichever mode is compact/has the least bendable/breakable parts exposed in storage tubs
>>6350163
I just keep the packaging because I have a shitton of space in my home. Stuff just goes back in the package.

>>Like, all I ever seem to see are people bitching about "those geewuners".
Because it's one or two fags trolling. Probably the same fags trolling about headmasters, paint apps, etc.
Time+autism=Shitposting.

MP Bumblebee alternates regularly between being forgotten at the back of my shelf and basically being a 24/7 desk toy. Despite my issues with him MP Bee is just fun as hell.
>>6350149
>But high-quality paint apps and not hamhanding your toy ALSO means no paint scratching off during transformation.
You're dumb. No matter how great your paint is, if it rubs hard, it'll chip. The issue is almost never about paint, it's about tolerance.
>>6350078
Kinda. I was hesitant about buying it at release because the FT one was looking better in pics but since it was cheap and actually releasing as opposed to FT and their 15 years long delays, I decided to give it a chance.
I was quite surprised by how good it turned out. It looks a lot better in hand and the transformation is really nice and clean (I've heard people saying it chips the chrome away but not only did it never happen to me, I also fail to see how that's possible... hamhandling probably). Every time I fiddle with it I like it more. I'm not even sure I'll give FT's a chance at this point.

Never happened. If it did, people would stop buying them and companies would stop producing them. Anti Geewun force is nothing but a vocal minority unable to differentiate their tastes and opinions from reality and logic.
Growing up in the 90's and seeing both this and MP Primal finally get figures that makes it like they popped out of the screen is just pure bliss. Can't wait for MP Dinobot.

Ok this is pissing me off and I already adjusted there size already.

The orientation of your pics are stored in the metadata. Landscape with the home button on the right is zero deg. 4chan strips all metadata when you post so they all end up at zero deg.

Wow, I forgot about Classics Jetfire even though I own him. He wasn't popular here for some reason so I even got him on clearance.
Funny enough, I missed Leader Jetfire's clearance and now really feel like hunting him down. Should I?

Ive been with TF since day one of G1. And I don't have a problem with TR. Ive been enjoying it.
Of course Ive always been above the petty irrationalities of the fandom.

If you make a new general too soon the mods delete it.

Ok, what did you guys do?
>>6349693
you screwed up the paint job on his claws

Blastoff
Smokescreen
Vortex
I wouldn't exactly define that as "endless"

No you're wrong to want this.
>>6350197
I gave my Sixshot the same swords.
>>6350290
It's pretty mediocre. Great head-sculpt, though.
>>6349868
Could try that with the Tidalwave repaint
