Honestly both have their pros and cons. However, I prefer the SHF not only because of the body (which, I know, the actress isn't that well endowed), but also because MAFEX has proven time and time again that, besides a few SW releases, their quality is pretty spotty. Not saying SHF is flawless but I've rarely got a bad figure from them. Of course, if when Han Solo gets home and his ONLY face is fucked up, I will lose my shit.

Kinda wish they'd make Green Goblin from the first movie. It'd be right up Bandai's alley. It's like an evil Kamen Rider Cyclone. The old Toybiz one is built like a plank and has the legs of a cripple.

I don't own the figure, but I can tell you that armor is only based off stuff from MH. It's not an actual armor in the games. Revoltech has some figures that are direct models of the actual game armors, if thats your interest, but it probably isn't since you said you don't know shit about MH.

That said, I do agree, that armor looks cool as fuck, and it's based off of one of my favorite monsters, the Zinogre (pic related). Whats the price on that thing?

I just got it yesterday, this thing is gorgeous and the box is xbox huge.

The paintwork is phenomenal, just be wary it has a lot of gold paint but thankfully none around joint areas.

Honestly it feels like a revoltech without ratchet joints, the armor is very soft and pliable.

All in all I recommend it for monster hunter fans

I just got mine today and boy, it's so gorgeous indeed.

The design is really great and I love how the switchaxe is actually a working one, not something that you need to take apart to go between the modes.

It's an almost perfect figure for me. One of the things that bothers me are the joints because they feel like they are too loose for its weight. I have mine displayed on the rock and it took me a while because it's a bit tricky to position the switchaxe even on its own ridges on the rock itself. I'm also careful not to scratch the paint off the blade while posing it.

There's also that annoying face piece that is hard to put back once you pop it off. I'm almost considering of dabbing a very tiny amount of PVA glue on it just to make it stick. Its torso also pops off from its waist easily if you try to twist it, but it's not that hard to put back. The claws easily pop off from the arm, too.

The articulation is kind of limited. For one, the head can only turn just a few degrees sideways. The tail that is part of his armor sometimes gets in the way, but can sometimes be used as a prop stand in some poses.

I'm not usually this nitpicky about the toys that I get, but this figure is just so great that it gives contrast to its flaws. Nevertheless, it's an awesome figure and I'll give it an 8.5/10.

Pretty annoyed about the exchange rate getting so bad since Ryu and Chun Li went up for pre-order. Yeah, Sasuke and Naruto still end up fighting (which was a given) but during the arc when Sasuke finally faced off against Itachi on his own, it was immediately followed by Naruto fighting against Pain as Naruto's own personal enemy to handle. This was usually reflected in a lot of promotional material since Itachi and Pain are their antagonistic counterparts from the Akatsuki. Heck even when most of the bad guys got resurrected as zombies, Itachi and Nagato/Pain ended up being resurrected as a pair.
