Hound's a really likeable character. It probably helps that he (along with Crosshairs and Drift) was one of the few Autobots who actually had a chance to show his personality and actually have a friggin' character for a change instead of just standing around in the background and then dying.

People shit talk AoE even more than ROTF nowadays. I don't care, I'd much rather watch it than any other TF movie. People keep mentioning how much they loved Autobots from the first three movies. Even a takara version between the 2 doesn't make the difference I need, that said...I passed over the recent TR hotrod because I got the platinum edition planet of junk set.

Before you chew me out that hotrod works for my needs other than being dated (that and I just wanted bikes so my figures can ride around) and aesthetically would work better with generations kup.

I wish I bought that platinum box set with him but I already had a spinger and arcee, what do?

Its not like takara can save the TR with some mind blowing paint job if the proportions are strange right, though that truck mode is nifty....

Also, as a Gen Kup owner, I would try to find one if I were you. Yeah, the pickup truck isn't G1 acurate, but it's actually a cute altmode and grows on you after a while. Especially since you can tote around minicons and titanmasters and whatnot in it. And it honestly doesn't feel dated to me in terms of poseability or transformation, both are pretty great.

If you can track it down with the third party heads, you'll love it.

In that case, you don't need the set. You already have most figures so it's pontless to own. For those who are just starting to collect, it's a great starting point though.

As for where to trade, the BST is a nice place, but there is a risk. The best method is to be subscribed to a Transformers forum and/or check online classified to trade figures directly. I've done it a couple of times and it's very rewarding. Especially when you give a figure you don't care about that the other really want.

For me I'd rather watch DOTM because the plot made Sentinel and Optimus pretty involved characters. Sure it made bad use of the other cast but those two fucking made that movie passable for me. They had a lot of dialogue and in the end, Sentinel was fucking right (about the humans).

I couldn't stand the fourth because the bloated time belonged to the camera focusing on Marky Mark and baldy vs the dinobots. It was like Shockwave hype but ten times worse.

Barricade is pretty much Boba Fett in terms of popularity. Great first impression but didn't do a lot and ended up having a small role dying in the third.

I'd tie Ironhide and Hound in terms of relevance actually. Ironhide was remembered because of his bigass guns and Clint Eastwood personality and even had his own fight scene with Sideswipe before his untimely passing.
