I got this beautiful bastard in the mail today and he's perfect. I knew I should have went with the minotaur in KS1.0 but I didn't listen to my gut. I know bbts was scalping but I'm not even mad; he was worth it. And guess what? No paint scraping (except the elbow joints obvs). And guess what else? He's actually molded in the right colors! I'm looking at you, barbarian builder.

Fed Ex dropped off my Covenant order which would be great except I got 6 Templar Legion builders when I ordered only 5 & I'm missing Sir Godfrey so the packer confused the two designs which I concede are close but now this brings it to a running total of 7 figures 4H owes me that they don't seem interested in addressing.

I love these figures & I know those guys are a garage business but they really need better communication.

Haven't bought any, but have been lurking these threads for a while.

I'd say I'm closest to getting the goblins out of anything.

I think most of them feel too far in the middle; Like they aren't historic or realistic enough, while also not being as fantastic or whimsical as they could be.

Same thing for personality; They're far too unique for background army builders, yet they're somewhat bland for main characters.

I ordered two legion builder sets of Black Skellys (12) & they only sent me one (6) when they finally got them in last October and I've been emailing them ever since. The responses have always been variants of "We'll ship these out to you next week!" and then nothing.

I even told them that if they just didn't have any at all I'd be willing to work with them with substitutes, or just flat out give me a damn refund but they just won't communicate. It's not like I've been badgering them every day, I sent an email about every three weeks just asking "Hey, whats the status with this?" and if they just told me they don't have them & asked me to wait for them to be redone in a few months like they keep saying I would have been OK with that, but they keep blowing me off.

And today pissed me off since Godfrey was the fig I was most excited for (Deus Vult!) & it got shorted as well.

The handles are plastic. The blades are diecast metals and all the swords come with sheaths that fit right onto the leather strap.

The shields are also diecast metals but very nicely painted over

Figma is supposed to be making a Hunter from Bloodborne, but sadly still nothing about Dark Souls. Though, I don't know if I'd want Figma or Revoltech or any of them doing Souls stuff. The games have a very gritty, dirty feel to em, and Figma/Revol figures always come out looking too clean. Even the Silent Hill figures look a bit too "neat" to really pull off the grimy look.

The helmet looks to be able to use both side and vertical adornments. Meaning you can plug in pretty much any decorative piece into this thing's head. Assuming the wave 1 accessories can fit in the pegs. Judging from the parts/paint/description, I would assume this figure is going to be a $33 standard priced figure. Which sadly is a bit too high for me to outright troop build. I'll get multiples eventually (these guys would be great as the...backbone...of a skeleton army) but I'll probably have to pick them up one at a time.

And because it's been a while, updated factions:

Right now the Legion has taken a commanding lead in the numbers, topping out at 17 figures with 7 of them meant as army builders (8 if you count Urzokk coming with extra heads).

The Order is still in second with 14, but really hasn't gotten any love with these stretch goals.

With the new Skeleton Builder added, the Congregation crawls up into a tie for third with the Flock. We know Deerface should be coming so I doubt it'll last long, but we also have new skeleton parts and I suspect they'll be used again.

And rounding out the top five is the House, with 9 figures

The Army has been getting stiffed hard since wave 1, gaining only a single new member (and a legion builder at that) while all others gained at least two. Hell, most other factions have pretty much doubled in size between 1.5 and the current KS, but the Army has sadly been left behind in the dust.

The new Barbarian Warrior Builder is only $33 and also doesn't have "Legion" in the name, expecting skeleboobs to be the same.

Worth noting, with over a week to go (when a successful KS starts going insane with pledges), ML2.0 has exceed ML1.0, which made $452,528. Currently (and this is going to change within minutes), ML2.0 is at $453,913.

Getting permabanned from KS for messing with the system? I'm pretty sure this happened during this KS as there were times the pledge total jump up by 5k to unlock the next goal with no new increase in backers, then after it was revealed the pledges would slowly drop back down by 5k. Though that stopped happening a while back so either the one doing it got wise or they got banned.

During the first ML KS, it took them so long to reach initial funding that people started to worry they wouldn't hit the stretch goals. So the 4H rearranged the goals mid KS, and offered figures with new parts as part of the original assortment.
