What are my options? (Classics deluxe has an annoying nose cone kibble chunk, recent legends has the head as the e for alt mode... So i couldn't even mpount a balljoint for it to turn without MAJOR surgery or making him an action master.)

Curently i am using the oooooold targetroids screamer, but modded so the null rays are placed properly and his arms can turn freely, however, his legs kinda suck, i either need beter legs, or a better figure.

Finally got this feetless bastard.

You can only pose this guy crouching with splayed legs.
For something very top heavy the feet's contact surface is pretty narrow and small. The heel spur is not really loose but it can't take the weight. Takara could have added a tab for it to lock in place. Makes you think if Takara tests their prototypes...

Short of the MP, there really isn't a decent G1 style Starscream. The Classics is the best we have at deluxe size and it definitely has its issue. The oversized MB one is worth getting if only because it's all of like $5, so why not?

I really wish any of the TFP Starscreams had gotten a G1 deco. With a new head, they'd be my go to.

I think Prime Wars is going to spell doom for the line. All the characters nominated are garbage. There won't be any titan master class figures and if BW optimus is in there there will be guaranteed BW garbage clogging everything up like in Thrilling 30.

But what else cna you expect? Hasbro can't have generations be prominant when the movie garbage is on the shelves so the only real move is to make it unpopular.

The IDW comics for the Bayverse were pretty good, at least up to RotF. But with all the half-assing Bay did during RotF, IDW gave a half-effort for DotM and gave up on that universe.

The movie prequel, Reign of Starscream, and RotF Defiance are all pretty solid.

And what else is there to even challenge it thats even somewhat recent? Bayformers is a complete and total loss of shit stories with even shittier characterization (if you can even call it that). Prime was alright, but got hamstrung. Animated died long ago. RiD is average at best. And then theres that preschooler show, which is, well...A preschooler show. Not really in the same league as anything else. The WFC/FoC games were good. Devastation was a great action game.

It's not a very high bar, but it's pretty damn obvious the IDW stuff is the best current stuff, and on the whole, it's not that bad. It has it's highs and lows, but it's a comic book. Comics always have wildly varying quality in any given issue. It's certainly better than a ton of other TF fiction, especially compared to the franchise as a whole.

Just because IDW is the best of what's currently out there doesn't mean it's good. And there are plenty of older stuff to enjoy, that is better than current IDW.

I'm pretty sure none of the UW sets had comics packed in, just the one piece of art depicting the team taking part in an activity together.

There were comics made for the Megatronia team and the new Baldigus, but they were released online. The end of Megatronia's comic depicted the Car Robots Commandos, and the end of Baldigus's comic concluded the entire Unite Warriors storyline.

There's another add-on Kit for Defensor and Bruticus that's aiming to do something like that. The PC hands, however, cannot do that unless you like literal finger guns.

The feet do have a second peg that lets you maintain proportion while also flipping either the leg or the foot around, so you can get the gun toes going if all you wanted from the feet was height.

So the Legends Astrotrain comic went up (on TFW, oddly enough).

Not a summary, but it's pretty easy to guess what's going on, and this is 4 pages for some reason (guess to pad out since we're only getting one release every other month till May):

Astrotrain bemoans the fact that he lost his body, barely capable of doing his job, Ultra Magnus (who still works on with the Decepticons since they bought Metroplex) volunteers for cargo duty, crushing Astrotrain. While walloing in self-pity, he runs into the recently escaped Tarantulas (arrested in the Metroplex comic) who's running from AI and Minerva (just joined the police). In exchange for protection, Astrotrain wants him to build a new body for him, then revenge.

My Legends Laserbeak with Apeface just arrived, and I honestly can't tell if Apeface's tiny head is painted. If I go by the Hasbro version, the tiny head should be molded color as the hands, and face, but I'm not sure.

Gates are now open at Nuremberg, Germany for the biggest European Toy Fair of this year. A new record: 2,871 exhibitors will be presenting some 75,000 toylines at the 68th edition of Nuremberg Toy Fair.

Hasbro, one of the biggest exhibitors on the fairground will be unveiling their 2017 lineup for the first time; a tradition which they usually reserved for the London Toy Fair. The lineup features Transformers: The Last Knight, Transformers Generations line for 2017 and the same for Transformers: Robots In Disguise.

Other than official images and information sent to us, we do not expect lots and lots of photos or details since Nuremberg Toy Fair is for selected audience only. The audience include Wholesalers, Retailers and prospective License Holders. Most of the time, non-disclosure and non-photography agreements are involved and Hasbro is no exception.

Transformers toy manufacturer will also take participation in a 20-minute presentation for license holders. Markus Pfitzner of Hasbro Deutschland will speak on how licensing themes can push a business forward.

Other than toys from Hasbro, Transformers related merchandise will be on display and you can take a look at the list on our previous news post… in case you missed it.

Japanese G1 toylines were also incredibly small, if Starsaber shows up in Generations he's going to be an anomaly like Armada megatron in Combiner Wars. I think the one bad thing about MP Roadrage is that, I guess because of the way her thighs are molded, it's really difficult to tell if her legs are perfectly straight when transforming her back into the alt mode (they don't really lock into position or anything), and if they aren't straight then the front wheels will be crooked and they wont all touch the ground, so you get a wobbly corvette.

Haven't had this problem with Tracks for whatever reason, maybe his boxy thighs make it easier to tell if they're straight by eye or something.

You CAN get everything perfectly straightened out to get all the wheels touching the ground, but on top of being really precise, turning the legs back into the hood of the car is the first step of transforming from robot to car so you have to redo the entire damn transformation if you fucked up.

Got a bunch of wave 4 titan masters and Top spin today.
This is wave 4 and we're still getting clearance issues that cause stress marks. Shuffler's tail is so tight it had stress marks after two transformations.
Every single titan master is too tight to fit on any body, including Topspins own.
On top of that Topspin appears to have been constructed in a way that makes removing his head port for shaving down a huge pain in the vaginass. On mindwipe I could just unscrew the torso

That little 3rd party guy does look pretty great actually. I suppose I wouldn't get rid of the old Sky Shadow even if I got the new one, though it's surprising how many characters in my collection got an upgrade recently.

Once upon a time there were two toy companies named Hasbro and Takara.
