Hell yeah, my walmart just reorganized the toy isle. TFs have a big ass space with an oddly movie wave sized blank area, get hype.

Finally fucking put out the legends, no wheelie but bees, gnaws and a kickback. About 40 each of overload, ptero, fangry and sawback (i wish that was hyperbole) and a ton of wave 1/2 deluxes

Also put out combiner force so fuck yeah lil frog buddy.

I don't own any yet, actually. But from what I can see from reviews and such, the whole altmode-Headmaster interaction thing doesn't really do much for me. It's kind cute to pop them into cockpits and such, but the "i'm sitting inside a gun" thing looks so shitty.

Also, I could be wrong since I don't own any yet, but in every review I've watched, the heads look annoyingly...wiggly. Like they're only sitting loosely in a socket, and would jiggle around if shaken.

Looking at images of Convobat with the Mindwipe shield that comes packed with Magna Convoy, the shield seems to be the same shade of blue as Convobat so that confirms what they did with all those surplus shields, they're selling them with another figure.

The wiggle factor depends on the figure. Thanks to the shoddy quality control of the line, the grip of the neck sockets varies.

There are sockets with good clutch like Blurr/Brainstorm, sockets that hold too tightly like Hardhead, and sockets that do actually wiggle if you move the toy, like Scourge/Highbrow.

I just got a bionicle ball joint so his head can flip down in and has plenty of articulation. But I didn't want to ruin the titan master head he came with to do it.

But, I think I figure out my low effort solution for Galvatron. I trimmed out the parts that prevented his mask from looking left and right and then trimmed enough to let it swing back further inside. I also managed to do it in a way let's it "click" inside so doesn't spring up automatically, which was a total accident. Now if I can find him a donor face and back of head he can have his own Galvatron head AND be able to use headmasters.

Sky Shadow in particular would probably look good on Galvatron.

Pretty much any of the original Headmasters are good, though theres a bunch of possible QC errors on any given one of them.

Highbrow suffers from a floppy neck connector, but that isn't a QC error, but a design one, because Highbrow (and Scourge, his moldmate) have raised neck connectors for whatever reason.

As much as I hate thinking about the crippling inevitability that all living things eventually die, I know someday Peter Cullen will pass, and the iconic voice of Optimus Prime will be no more. If and when that happens, who would you like to see replace him in the movies?

My money's on Idris Elba. He has that dee booming baritone that's also oddly soothing to listen to, and he could make Prime his own take on the character while still honoring Cullen.

Brendlekirk Cuminbitch is another good choice but he seems to have a more villainous voice desu. He'd make a dope Megatron or Starscream tho.

The one on Skullcruncher is soft plastic, it wasn't rubber, and the one on Krok seems to be exactly the same, which is notable when he looks over the canopy hatch. The upside is you only have worry about paint in a few areas, like the feet, and the tail, instead of most of the torso.

He has the same issue as other TR toys with ill-fitting 5mm pegs, though. Doesn't help that those parts are made with the crappy gray plastic. They won't break or anything, but expect to see some stress marks.

Honestly, I'm at the point where I feel like I should see the boxsets before investing in any more TR molds, because there's a tiny chance they'll redo the molds with better materials/paint.

Glorietta has a couple of collectible stores though a few are separated from the rest. The layout of the mall is confusing so just ask the guards for the location of "Hobby Shop" or "Big Boys Toys" which the main collectible shop is located next to it.
