>All sorts of new stuff being speculated about edition.
Shame none of it is any good.
And just to carry over from last thread:
TF5 Movie Masterpiece Mars – $79.99
TF5 Movie Masterpiece Jupiter – $99.99
TF5 Movie Masterpiece “Saturn” – $79.99
All Spark Starter Pack – $39.99
TF5 Movie Deluxe Class – $19.99
TF5 Movie Legion Class – $15.00
TF5 Movie Power Cube Figure – $14.99
TF5 Movie Combiner Set with Slug – $34.99
TF5 Movie Planet Cybertron – $149.99
TF5 Movie Planet Cybertron (Deluxe) – $39.99
Pic is MP38, toy color Primal.
>>6124381
Yeah well, I don't like the movie shit either, and think the recolored Primal looks terrible, but that doesn't stop others from enjoying it.
>>6124384
>TF5 Movie Deluxe Class – $19.99
>TF5 Movie Legion Class – $15.00
What the fuck. Jfc
>>6124395
It's Toys R Us listings. They sold CW deluxes for retarded prices.
A friend and I decided to translate the manga that came with Legends Highbrow for fun. It's our first time doing this sort of thing but we think it turned out pretty well. Might translate some more in the future.
>>6124399
And page 2.
>>6124399
>>Cargo, the cybertronian slug.
New favorite character.
>>6124399
>>6124401
That's a really god job, man!
>>6124401
And I love all the different "modes" they come up with based on the actual toy like this microscope mode or Scourge's two-headed dragon mode.
>>6124384
People saying the $100 MP isn't Optimus, wasn't the Hasbro release of MP-10 around that price with the trailer and everything? I don't find it hard to believe that a movie MP Prime being $100 is that far-fetched considering it'll only be the cab with no trailer/roller etc.

Thanks for the kind words. We'll try and translate any other comics that show up.

Thank you, has anyone shared the Ginrai comic yet?
The inclusion of the beast mask explains the light bar on the back of Primal's head then.
>>6124520
That, and the fact that the antenna can move down and there's a slot on the back of his head.
It was pretty obvious that they were planning a mutant head if you took into account all three things.
>>6124384
Please let the the other $80 masterpiece be a Barricade of this quality
>>6124471
Commit a hate crime with it
>>6124513
Not sure if there's a translation yet but there was an amusing part I could read in the comic:
>bunch of bw guys cheering CONVOY! CONVOY! CONVOY!
>no, no, convoy's someone else. I'm Ginrai.
>>6124531
Why does like every movie bee have those awful bicep curl arms?

How are the MP Seekers? I kinda want a big ol jetformer
>>6124555
Pay up anon, we got trips
>all this movie shit
I guess I can quit collecting for a while.
>>6124563
This. I've been looking for a decent Skywarp figure for a while and have no idea where to start.
>>6124563
>>6124573
Obvious answer is to check YouTube. The older seeker mold isnt super great, it has its problems. The newer one is a bit sleeker with less awful hip kibble. Someone else can give the right numbers, I don't remember. They all look great in both modes imo, but the newer mold is definitely superior. So the MP is perfect if you want a nice classic looking Skywarp (or any other seeker).
In pic related the one on the right is the older one, you can see the extra kibble and other differences.
>>6124619
Jfc. Disregard. I didn't look at that picture close enough, those are the same mold and I'm a dumbass.
>>6124612
Dang. Like every character that has been done early on in Classics and Universe has gotten another shot at another CHUG figure except for the Seekers, Bluestreak, Sideswipe, and Inferno/Grapple.
We need some deluxe or voyager seekers badly. The legends were a step in the right direction. Fuck, upsize those and add a few new joints here and there and I'd buy that.
>>6124612
well, if you're into legends scaled shit, iron factory is coming out with these
>>6124630
and of course, screamer
>>6124630
DX9 is doing them too.
>>6124563
Gen Jetfire mold is quite nice imo.
>>6124638
are my eyes playing tricks on me or does dx9 screamer have a long torso?
>>6124571
Is that your final dandy?
>>6124640
Eh, I don't think they make good seekers.
>>6124641
They all do, you just notice it on Not-Starscream because of his coloration.
>>6124640
Oh yeah. I actually forgot those existed.
>>6124650
I think they look a bit too bulky for my tastes. Maybe it's the wings or something but mold has never really done it for me.
Interior Crocodile Alligator!
So turns out Blaster is $59.99 at TRU Canada. The "$20 off with $50+ Hasbro purchases" would make it $40 plus tax. Not as fun as $30.
Should I wait for a sale or when it's put on clearance, or is this the best price I can get? There's like five-six Blasters at one TRU sitting there for a while.
>>6124653
I always hated how the thrusters pointed up in robot mode. They really couldn't have the backpack swivel around?
>>6124721
Getting off to another man's jiz is for faggots and queers.
I just want to complain about this guy.
Mainly because I forgot he existed for a few years then someone reminded me.
>>6124751
He dated MssHannahMinx, I think.
>>6124751
The only thing I would complain about is TJOmega spending all his time in generic random reviews for Youtube sheckels instead of making the high-production reviews people subscribed for like Plastic Addict.

Aw man. I would've liked to see what the alt mode looked like
Movie Toys suck.
But I have a real weak-spot for the 2007 line, as it was then I got into Collecting.
Loved seeing those red and black boxes, hoping for a new find.
>>6124795
The first two movie toylines were great bar a few, but the hftd and reveal the shield lines were unarguably the high point of Transformers in the last decade or more.
>>6124792
I was actually able to peel most of the glue off of it - save for the one piece in the seat.
I saw the jeep and thought it was a legends hound KO but that's a completely different toy. I have no idea what this is.

That 10th Anniversary 2 pack is great. Glad someone else has one too.
>>6124947
I feel screwed over by the accessories and nothing else.
>>6124949
Its great. The MP is a great show-accurate display piece, but the original Primal mold is such a fun, chunky, 90s toy. I really need to hunt down an original.
Brawn-in-Brawn!
Brawniest Brawn!
>>6124978
Brawnception, the latest Brainmaster!
There's even a drone-face so drone-Brawn can hold gun-Brawn.
>>6124978
I'd love to see the LG comics explain how there are two Brawns. It'll probably be some multiverse-shit.
>>6124996
nb4 TM Brawn is actually G1 Brawn's head, the only part that survived the initial attack, and turned into a TM.
>>6124978
I used to think Titanmasters were kinda dumb but lately it's starting to grow on me. What would be a good first Titan Returns figure to get? I was thinking either Highbrow or Triggerhappy for my first. Maybe Wolfwire or Chromedome.
>>6125017
Hardhead, Wolfwire, and Triggerhappy are the best ones so far. Skullcruncher is also just as good, but you are much more likely to get a toy that's ruined by shitty QC issues.
Brainstorm/Blurr are solid, but no interesting gimmicks to make them stand out like the ones I listed.
>>6124531
>>thought I was out of Transformers
>>fuck
And yes a new Barricade like this would be great, but only in his original design.
>>6125017
I would say Triggerhappy but he sets the bar high. Skip Highbrow entirely he is garbage unless you want to get the full set of headmasters. I got him and he is by far the worst I own.
I've heard Wolfwire can be delicate but he looks so good. Chromedome is one of the clunkier releases.
Any news on that Toyhax galvatron hemlet?
like when will it be out and the price?
>>6125027
>Skip Highbrow entirely he is garbage
Highbrow is good if you don't mind the hindering blades and 50/50 chance to get a wobblehead.
>I've heard Wolfwire can be delicate
Yeah, apparently you have to transform him in a very specific way that a lot of people get wrong.
>>6125027
>highbrow is garbage
TFW spotted
>>6124531
better than those "fuck two hands, here's a dumb gimmick" HA figures were. But $30 KO when? Fuck $80.

There's also that coincidental RB Blades from Alpha Bravo...

>>6124571
Same here. Past years there was at least a trickle of Classics to look forward to but I haven't really cared for much of this HeadMaster shit.
>>6124471
give it a stupider paint scheme.
>>6125133
That's a stock mp10 repainted with extra detailings, the arms are still on the side but ALL the way towards the back.
>>6125129
Not a fan of the strikes but the rest is solid.
If I go fully retarded I'll get this guy to touch up my mp10
Also got C-cha-chas-Roadburn.
>>6125240
Nice. I wonder if I should just get an extra Roadburn and Bumblebee to make Cliffjumper and Bumper or if there's any chance of them getting a release.
Sounds like Roadburn is good at chasing...
>>6125244
idk. It just feels like Takara will do a 2-pack with Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, or Hasbro will do a a platinum set with all the legends minibots.
>>6125255
Do his instructions still call him Chase? Someone got an early copy that still used the old name there.
>>6125259
It's all Roadburn™ on mine.
>>6124638
Why the hell does Skywarp have 2 different color elbows?
>>6125238
I personally LOVE the stripes, and love the look he gave DOTM prime with the same paintjob.
>>6125268
Looks like a side effect of the transformation hinge? They all have it but only he has black, so check what is also black compared to white/blue and that may be the key, molded together
I still need to see a super sleek jet out of these legends seekers OR a sweet back, because otherwise my modded targetroid will suffice for now.
>>6124399
>>6124401
If I can offer some constructive criticism, I'd say for next time to try and keep a consistent font size throughout each dialog bubble instead of stretching and shrinking to fit each one (obviously there's some situations where this can't be avoided though, so use your judgment!)
Also try to leave some more "open space" within each bubble. As an example to show how I would've done it, I re-did the first panel.
Again though, a good first job! Thank you for translating it for us. :D
Got my Super Ginrai today...or Powermaster Prime for non go-go-nippons like myself.
Genuinely kind of crushed that he can't hold a pose beside standing straight up. I've been hearing about the furniture polish trick for years but have never tried it myself. Might have to give it a go on this sucker.
Dunno if people here knew what it does, but the blue bit with the up coming mp38?
Turns out its a weapons rack that plugs into primal so you can store the blades if amiami and hlj's listings are to be believed.
>>6125329
Just get a nice bottle of this exact stuff here:
https://www.pledge.com/en-us/products/pledge-floor-care-multi-surface-finish
And then to apply it, I've found that using a needle-tip bottle as pictured is the best way to go about it. Just get a tiny one and refill it with your big Pledge bottle as needed.
>>6125329
A second case of that one qc issue, I'm beginning to dread mine when it comes.
Oh the curse of cheap vietnamese factory workers, you can throw more or less paint at them but in the end we'll hit a land mine sooner or later
>>6125329
They should make another 3P addon kit that's like, a second ankle joint or something.

>shockwave went from clandestine experiments to being on the vanguard of decepticon war technology to running away from the fucking rescue bots after stealing 40 cakes
Shockwave had a hard life.
>>6125353
Wait, what? Prime Shockwave's in Rescue Bots now?
>>6125355
think its a joke about how "morbot" in the gif is kinda like shockwave is you squint really hard
>>6124384
>>6125335
I figured as such. I wonder if it fits over the mystery peg on his back. Also, if that pic is all his accessories, then he comes with less faceplates than the BW version does.
I suppose the mutant head counts for something, but those dopey smile faceplates are great. BW2 Primal wouldn't feel complete without them to me.
Also, since it looks like we still have nothing to peg into his arm slot, I wonder if that means there's yet a 3rd MP Primal version on the way with some weird accessories to use it.
>>6125363
Isn't he part of the twitter SJ circlejerk? Why's he using Engrish?
>>6125363
What is the joke here?
>>6125365
But le randumb is fun, one thing I hate about collectors is how they stand them there like they're from a factory when really its space conservation at work.
That said as an owner of the hasbro version the rest of the mold is rather basic, makes me wish super articulated action masters came.
>>6125363
Guess it confirms that Foster lurks here.
Next time try to hide your identity better faggot.
>>6125374
>super articulated action masters
If they sold the entire AM line again with regular GI Joe type articulation and no alt-modes, God help me I'd buy every single one. Dirt-cheap to produce too, comparatively to the regular deluxes, but you know they'd still charge $11.99 a piece.
>>6125379
Yep. Me too. At any scale really.Hell, make them Joe size. I'd buy it. Or at least 1/12 scale size and there'd be some great potential for some crossover shots.
>>6125380
Anywhere between normal AM size and 1/12 would be fine, I like the original size myself but certainly wouldn't shun them if they wound up being scaled to deluxe roughly. I just need me a Mainframe, and a Treadshot, and a Sprocket, and a Circuit, and a Banzaitron.
I think the only thing I don't like about MP Soundwave is that his feet don't tilt forward. A lot of poses require balancing him on the tip of his toes because his feet just can't get flush to the ground.
I also found it weird at first how his legs don't bend backwards, but then I started to realize how rarely I use that specific articulation in other figures and I don't even realize they don't bend that way now unless I'm specifically playing around to see the extremes of his articulation.
Well the grey arms really bother not to mention making the head smaller than it is.
Got another terrobull. Cut out the side cheek and replace the arms.
>>6125391
However, you can exploit the unusual ankle engineering to give him extra tall ankles, which kind of makes it look like he's tip-toeing for extra height.
For some reason I find this hilarious.
Random thing: I don't think Highbrow has any titanmaster pegs on him. Does Scourge? Or am I just missing them?
>>6125391
I still need to get an MP Soundwave. But I keep waiting this month to see if maybe SOME fucking place gets in a few extra Kultur's
.>>6125407
Mine doesn't seem to have any, so I don't think he does, no.
>>6125420
Soundwave is definitely a ton of fun. If price were'nt an object I would have gotten him long ago.
I'm just waiting on some red eyes from nonnef and he'll be perfect.
I don't usually mind the Yellow eyes, but I find he has the same same problem as MP10 where the clear plastic is too dark. Opaque wuld have been much better.
>>6125428
It's funny because I don't really collect MP stuff, but I do want a really good SW, and the only really good SW out there is the MP. I do have a few MP figures though-All Decepticons, oddly enough.
Maybe I should start nabbing them more often.
>>6125363
This crew of assholes like to pretend that they're the cool kinds in TF fandom, when they're really more like the bitchy queers who try to hide their lack of self-esteem by making fun of the tards and juggalos.
>>6125295
Thanks for the criticism. I'll keep that in mind.
>>6125363
Anyone who is part of that circle is the laughing stock of the fandom. Bobby Skullface would beat the shit out of any of them.
Back in last August we received a word from Simba Smoby (UK), that the company has acquired license to produce Transformers: The Last Knight Diecast vehicles and R/C vehicles from Hasbro.
Today, we learned that the vehicles will make their debut this January 24th at Kensington Olympia during this year’s London Toy Fair.
Several toys were mentioned:
1:18 Scale ‘Giant Robot Warriors’ Bumblebee Diecast Vehicle
1:18 Scale ‘Giant Robot Warriors’ Barricade Diecast Vehicle
1:12 Scale Ultimate RC Bumblebee – controlled and transforms from vehicle to robots via a mobile app.
We also received info on their new Transformers: Robots In Disguise range based on the animated series.
Diecast Optimus Prime with Trailer – includes two diecast vehicles.
Diecast 2-Pack – with an additional articulated Transformers figure.
To check out the toys, visit the Simba Smoby booth (Hall 12, Stand B-03-02) at UK Toy Fair.
Stay tuned with TFW2005 for more info.

Some figures don't have them, and yes, Scourge has them in awful locations.
Unrelated to anything but:
I just go this guy in the mail today and he's actually pretty neat. I got him on a whim after some anon posted that picture of him with Grimstone. He's much larger than I expected for some reason and his transformation is surprisingly complex. And he probably has the best, most poseable dino mode outside of Planet X's Vulcan.
Bot mode is also has surprising articulation despite his giant shins. Great Grimlock headsculpt too.
Do you guys believe in aliens? Do you think that something like cybertronyans could be real or...like..Unicron in the darker space...
>>6125488
I hope not, I like Transformers but their whole deal would be a nightmare for us. The only universe with Tranformers that I'd like would be the Legends Universe.

Just show up already.
>>6125532
Oh shit I forgot about him. Yeah he takes the cake, even in his combined mode he was trash.
>>6125532
Can't believe they actually packed the AOE 2-pack one without Swoop, removing it's one redeeming combination feature.
>>6125538
His fork and shield
>>6125543
see, even simple mistakes caused by a wonky auto correct trigger you, please, tell me again how takara only release masterclass figures and hasbro are literally hitler and just make you shake in anger.
>>6125480
That was an unexpected pretender homage, I like him, last month i go the platinum dino set and they are pretty fun too, well most of them, Slug back kibble always gets in the way while posing his arms.
>>6125552
Man, that swoop looks sharp. With red wings he'd make a good terrorsaur stand in.
>>6125523
The green deco's not too bad. It's kinda funny how the smaller battle-pack version is almost identical, just scaled down without the exploding arms.

>>6125565
Oh goddamnit. Now I want that Sludge.
>>6125493
>generall considered to be one of the worst grimlock figures and one of the worst TF figures in general
Yea no. This thing is FAR from worst TF in history, Most people wouldn't even say it's bad. Hell, it's not even the worst Grimlock, that would be the Energon one easily. Though the Pretender and AoE Leader Grimlock are also pretty crap.
Long story short, you have no idea what you're talking about.
Anyone seen the wave 3 leaders, and voyagers in stores? Most of my local stores still have wave 1-2, and I still haven't even seen a Soundwave (the reign of Skywarp is finally over, so there's that).
>>6125558
That mold is just awful anon. You can like like it but the colors are not the issue with that mold.
>>6125565
That is awesome.
>>6125574
I have witness Soundwave here in south PA at a couple of Walmarts. Start checking soon. Most stores overhaul the toy aisle this time of year so with any luck you'll see restock in the next two months.
>>6125564
Pretty well, I haven't noticed any change on them and i've been transforming them a lot, but I got a couple of scufs on Swoop from the package, the bands holding his wings were too tight, nothing big but still noticeable.
>>6125574
I can't confirm but my wife called me yesterday and told me she found Sixshot at Target in Blacksburg VA on her lunch break. I passed on it but ill try and stop there tonight and see if I can confirm with a photo.
>>6125587
>>6125593
Should still be available on Hasbro toy shop, the Sludge was still available on Amazon.
>>6125594
I don't like Beast Wars but ok.
So close yet so far. I wonder if the concept car is in a license hell or something. The alt mode is using the production body and not the film car.
>>6125598
Probably cost too much money to license the car mode, so they went with something close but legally different enough to not get sued.
>>6125593
Dunno. But if you just want Slog/Sludge there's a solo version without the G1 head. It's an amazon exclusive or something.
>>6125598
I'm pretty sure this is just a repaint of that old MP Bee figure Takara released a while ago.
>>6125602
It's a new mold.
That cannon arm partsforms.
>>6125612
Oh shit, really? Damn. Didn't think they'd actually go out of their way to make a new mold for this.
Comparing the MIB one I have to this new one it seems like it is. Main point was the knee hinges being very noticably different.
Hello small friend.
>>6125620
>go away, I don't deal with decade old outdated trash like you

Well, he hasn't changed much design wise over the years besides movie 4.
I can easily see multiple releases over the next few years with RotF and DotMs body kits.
Maybe Movie 5 body kit as well.
>>6125623
If they're doing them mostly based off their designs in the first film, I'd love an MP OP in the first film's design.

That's the original paint. No joke.
>>6125644
Have Grimlock and Skullcruncher play tug of war like dogs with a TM
>>6125641
Or the legs, tail or rest of the body. Nobody knows why Hasbro decided to just apply that blackwash just there.
>>6125646
Highbrow is not having a super great day.
>>6125648
>excuse me, I'm pretty sure I bit him first.
>>6125627
There is another one at Bees price and one at $100 with the codename Jupiter which was Voyager Primes codename.
So maybe.
>>6125644
>>6125647
holy moly, you weren't kidding
>>6125648
Just a real bummer of a day.
>>6125652
>Hasbro did a fucking paint wash at some point
I'd be impressed if it wasn't so halfassed.
I wonder how good/bad most modern TF's would look with a ink or paint wash thrown on to highlight all of that detail that they usually have that gets lost because most parts are molded in one color with little to no paint.
>>6125593
They were on clearance at BBTS not too long ago. I got mine for under $100 I believe.
Just don't go in expecting much. I actually got my set on impulse to go along with my Planet X Dinobots. When you put them side by side...it's really pretty depressing how bad the Hasbro ones are.
>>6125538
The golden girls
>>6125658
IIRC the only other toy they did a wash on was Energon Starscream.
>>6125367
Opposite side of the coin. The guy with the gundam avatar iirc is the aspy who sets his twitter account private whenever he can't handle people calling him on his shit (otherwise he usually has decent toy photos)
>>6125652
This is a good robot dinosaur
But not a good grimlock.
It's not even a good robot.
I keep mine in dino mode.
Still a better t-rex than that hollow FOC piece of shit
Possible new E-Hobby exclusive. The shuttle that Convobat saw in the last chapter is seen in use here, note the color of the fists. It might be Energon Omega Supreme.
This is another part of the Magnus Convoy comic.
>>6125684
>Straxus, PCC Icepick, and Big Convoy
Neat.jpg
>Energon Omega Supreme
Niiiice
>>6125510
That's even worse.
>>6125688
Even more interesting, PCC was used with G1 and G2 charactes in Japan, and Icepick was repurposed as as Rollermaster... who's actually Straxxus, but this comic brings that into question.
So yeah, no idea what's going on.
>>6125662
>>6125684
For fucks sake, this means that, in order to get a Sentinel Prime in blue, I'll need to get Convobat AND whoever that shuttle is.
>>6125691
I love how they turned Kakuryu into PCC Grimmaster/Grimstone, now I have Grimstone on the same shelf as Starsaber.
>>6125715
Atr that point I'd probably just suggest painting Sentinel's faceplate and putting it on a blue titanmaster.
>>6125715
Look at the shuttle fist in different colors, he might be Omega Sentinel.
uhhh
http://pulse.hasbro.com/en-us/news/article?article=3_things_to_know_about_the_bumblebee_masterpiece_figure
>The Masterpiece Bumblebee figure was created for ages 8 and up, and is slated for release in summer 2017. It has an MSRP of $79.99.
>This Masterpiece Bumblebee figure is based on the first Transformers live action movie using some *die-cast* parts to commemorate the film’s 10th anniversary . .
>umblebee converts from his dynamic, Autobot scout form into a 2006 Chevy Camaro concept car. The figure also has a whopping 33 points of articulation, making it a collectable, and versatile figure. The design premise allows fans to articulate the figure into all sorts of movie-accurate poses!
>>6125727
That's who I figured they meant. Omega Supreme would be preferred, but Sentinel is A-Ok too.
>>6125698
>>6125742
Stay classy, Arcee.
>>6125727
Wonder what head it's getting, they'd have to make a new one for Omega Sentinel.
Last one. Sorry.
>>6125664
>>6125756
Post all you want bro. A lot of us here are just board and any kinds of toy pics are fun.
Hasbro Computron, is it worth it people?
>in a tight-ish financial situation which calls for limited frivolous spending
>might genuinely have to choose between the Nintendo Switch and Trypticon this year
Has anyone here ever bought one of these fake tf's?
how's the quality? Are they larger than legends figures?
Classic Grimlock gives me Dinobot 2 vibes.
I wouldn't have minded a Dinobot 2 repaint of it, honestly. Though I suppose a version of a disliked mold for an unpopular character is asking too much for even a con exclusive.
>>6125773
How much?
>>6125775
Given how Nintendo hasn't had a good console since the N64 (or possibly the SNES), and now they've finally jumped on the shit-tastic "Pay for online" bullshit that Microsoft spent millions campaigning for to make it acceptable with the original X-Box, I'd probably go for a 3DS if you don't have one already, or a Trypticon.
You probably won't be missing much at all.
>>6125776
Haven't bought one, but they appear to just be upsized Legends figures. I'd say see if youtube has any reviews.
>>6125773
For $40, yes. Anything above that, no, get a UW unless you're really poor or desperate.
>>6125190
Aren't we all?
>>6125781
£70 bongs
>>6125776
I got the whole first wave of them (Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, Bumblebee, Hot Rod, and Powerglide). They're very good quality and I hightly recommend them. They are oversized though. It makes Bumblebee and Powerglide fit in better with deluxe sized bots, so that's nice. I think I only have Megatron around but I'll try and take a picture if I can find him.
>>6125788
Fuck that shit.
>>6125789
Megatron has some really nice silver paint. Optimus is probably the worst one just because his red plastic seems a little low quality.
Here's a size comparison.
>>6125657
>TFW what Highbrow's thinking right, now.
>>6125796
>Optimus is probably the worst one just because his red plastic seems a little low quality.
Is this just a thing with red plastic? I know those are upsized KO's, but people say this with like, every goddamn toy with red plastic.
>>6125802
Yeah, red and yellow plastic always seems to be kind of awful. Except for whatever kind they used on TM Blaster, I love the way his plastic feels.
>>6125802
Well, red plastic stress easily, and gives off that cheap feeling unless you're going to darker shades.
Looking at picking up Victorion for $65 shipped. Does that seem good. I do kind of like her and am enjoying the team members in the comics.
>>6125828
I nabbed her for slightly less than that around xmas and don't regret it, hadn't planned on getting her but was flush with cash and felt like splurging a little. Pyra Magna stands out as the best looking to me, and I actually find myself loving the helicopter twins where I'd thought I'd like them least.
>>6125828
I enjoy them. Not the best set, but a little above average for a CW set. I'd say she's worth picking up if you are interested.
This is where we post transformer memes right?
>>6125866
We'll file it away right here where it belongs
>>6125875
how about my edited version
>>6125890
>>6125776
It's pretty good. The wings don't clip in together very well in robot mode but it's not loose, so it's not a big deal. Not for me, anyway. Small Deluxe size, fits right in with Classics Bumblebee and the iGear Minibots.
So why is everybody going nuts over TR Triggerhappy? What's so great about it?
>>6125948
His transformation tried something, and didn't sacrficie waist articulation to pull it off.
>>6125991
Nice. I'd like to get this and the Trypticon colored one someday too.
>>6125948
minimal hollow parts, brand new transformation scheme for Jets (let alone any transformer) great play-ability with the arm mounted guns, just overall way above and beyond the quality of every other TR figure so far.

Love is over.
>>6126056
Gotta pay for that licensing bro. You'll calm down once you drink some Code Yellow Bumblee Dewrito's and have a nice Optimus Primerib at McDonald's.
>>6126056
Pretty sure they were always that price in Canada
>>6125991
Does this mean there will be a combiner called Genocider?

>>6126067
What size would you guys like Generations Dinobots at? For me:
>deluxe swoop
>voyager slag and snarl
>leader sludge
>ultra grimlock
>>6126017
>>6126076
>>6126094
Ultra doesn't exist anymore, so I doubt we'll see it just cause of the Dinobots.
Anyway, I see it as:
>Deluxe Swoop, Deluxe Snarl
>Voyager Grimlock, Sludge, and Slag (but Slag could also work as a deluxe.
>>6126094
Legends Swoop
Deluxe Grimlock, Snarl, Slag
Voyager Sludge
>>6126094
Voyagers for all but Swoop and Grimlock, who'd be deluxe and leader-class, respectively.
>>6126104
I don't know, most Leader class end up compromised in some way.
>>6126017
That happen friend
>>6126109
>Autobot Grimlock! With obnoxious obtrusive flip-out flame gimmick and real working lights/sound!
It's Grimlock though, they could really just scale the simple transformation up from the Classics or FoC version, or hell even simplify the MP and call it a day. How hard could they fuck it up, it's just a T-rex standing up ffs.
>>6126115
>How hard could they fuck it up
YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND
>>6126115
>Areas that look awful or super hollow
>No waist, wrist, or ankle articulation
>hands aren't 5 mm compatible
>Change the transformation scheme and make it worse for some reason
And I'm not even counting problems we see in some figures like IDW or toy heads, or shit grey plastic.
>>6126120
>problems
>like IDW or toy heads
You've got a real shit definition of a "problem".
>>6126127
You and I both know no one cares about the toy head, and the IDW wouldn't fit the G1 design, but they'd force it in anyway.
>>6126131
You must not have grown up with anything they're currently redoing then.
>>6126134
I did, and I was pissed when the toy didn't look like it did in the show.
>>6126120
>>hands aren't 5 mm compatible
For what actual purpose, unless they decided to give him permanent fists, which while shitty wouldn't be the worst they could do
>>6126140
Remember CW Ultra Magnus and TR PMOP?
>>6126142
Just got Magnus this week actually, I keep forgetting and grabbing other guns for him to try and hold before I remember.
>>6126142
To be fair, it would've worked if they didn't make his hands oddly floppy. I still need to future the hands on mine and keep forgetting.
Fuck it, I'mma go get my future bottle right now.
Are both sides of the hinge that connects Blurr's hand-guards on pinned?
>>6126148
Mine's twelve hours away at my parents', but if you cut two grooves into one of the parts of the gun barrel, between two existing ridges, it can fit in the gap on the blue part under his hand and let's him hold his hammer in a more natural way and more securely. Just a random tidbit.
>amerifats losing their shit now that they'll have to pay the same price canadas been paying for transformers for years
>still cheaper than europe or kangaroo land
>>6126142
Wait, how does PMOP hold the guns on his shoulders?
>>6126162
>>amerifats losing their shit now that they'll have to pay the same price canadas been paying for transformers for years
I mean I guess if you feel the need to collect the movie toys, you're kinda fucked this year.
>>6126168
Thankfully the only things catching my interest right now is the Masterpiece Bumblebee. Depends on how Prime and the other one turns out.
Can't wait for Toyfair.
I am actually glad to see this thread, because I have two questions.
1. Am I nothing but pure fucking garbage for liking Soundwave above all others and only want him as a figure, or even a statue? I just really enjoyed his design back when I watched the original series, him and Prime are my favorites.
2. Is there anyplace else to get a Master series figure of Soundwave that isn't $150+?
>>6126178
1: nah, everybody loves Soundwave, you're in good company there.
2: Not really There's an unofficial revoltech-type figure of him you could get, otherwise settle for the Leader fig and ignore the headmaster thing.
>>6126184
That revoltech is actually pretty nice, but very Studio Ox styled. The only ones of those I've gotten were him and Shockwave.
>>6126199
We need some Generations Soundwave and Shockwave figures that are deluxes or voyagers sometime.
>>6126210
I'm happy at the moment with the FoC equivilants holding those two spots in my collection, but I would also replace them with Generations versions if they appeared on the scene.
Speaking of replacing figures, TR has left me for the first time with more than one or two obsolete toys cluttering up my space. Classics Astrotrain, Hot Rod, Scourge now hang out with that old ultra Silverbolt and a few other stragglers in my collection.
>>6126217
I've got FOC Shockwave and he can fudge a decent gun mode but man, he's so tiny. Maybe I should do that Cyclonus part swap everyone and their grandma did.
>>6126221
Part swap? I don't remember that one, only people doing it with Apache to get Whirl back when.
>>6126238
Universe cyclonus has the same size balljoint and taller legs
>>6126168
>I mean I guess if you feel the need to collect the movie toys
But garbage is free. You can find it on any street corner.
>>6126115
Why not just copy the engineering of pic related?
I swear these things need to be scaled-up at some point and replace the normal deluxes, the Strongarm is great.
>>6126251
Huh, never considered that, the purples don't match at all though, do people really do this? I wouldn't want to track down a second Cyclonus just for that.
>>6126257
You'd think so, right? Unfortunetly the TF section of all stores is going to be a dumpster again, and we're bound to be stuck staring at beehives like years passed;.
>>6126262
Sure, why not? The T-rex to robo transformation isn't that complex, it's pretty much just standing up.
>>6126266
I miss the Cyberverse commanders. Such fun little fiddle with toys.
>>6126266
Yeah, people do it. But there's usually painting involved.
I'm honestly just waiting to find a cheap energon shockblast to mod and use.
>>6126268
I wound up returning Ironhide and Sentinal, that line sucked hard. Decent little Megatron and a damn fine Blackout though.
Looking at his transformation. I want to the designers sold some orphan souls to get it right.
What is a good price for an MP Hotrod?
>>6126168
For years the Deluxe pricepoint was $10 and it doubled in a short timespan.
>>6125775
>Video game stuff always decreases in price, while the value of the line up increases as more exclusives come out
>Transformers at the least maintain their value or increase in some cases.
Toys all the way. There is no reason to buy fancy tech at launch unless you really have excess cash to burn.
