So i ordered 2 of pic related from Bricklink and received them recently, not realizing they were rubbery and not hard plastic.
I had planned on using that vinyl dye trick on them to dye them purple so that I could use them as Mind Flayer heads.

So, does anybody know if the vinyl dye would still work? (Not that I've tried the dye on any other pieces yet) And is there any way for me to conserve the eye prints? Or would I just have to paint new eyes on?

Yeah, the angry birds castle is decent as well and they are doing a good job putting castle figs into most cmf series.

I just picked up Buzz Lightyear mini fig without checking online, kinda sad it's not a full dome that flips. Also the dome's pegs are finicky, doesn't seem to sit well unless I assemble the suit and dome first, then slide the head, while inside the suit, onto the neck... Anyway, I like it but curse my high expectations.

Let's just say the zombies or whatever other apocalyptic event happens. Instead of being an autist and build a lego fortress around yourself in your room waiting for death you decide to actually try to gtfo and survive. You gather useful stuff to put in your backpack and since you have some space left you decide to carry some of your beloved lego with you. This is the only lego you will ever have from now on, what criterias do you use to select pieces?
-total size/number of pieces: I guess everything should fit in some small suitcase not bigger than a medium/small first aid kit
-colors: mostly earthy colors? dark stone grey, dark green, reddish brown... ?
-this is the only toy you will bring, so it would be nice if you could use the pieces to build other games, like a small chess board and chess pieces, a small pinball game... what else?
-joints: the mixel joints are the most versatile so you might carry only those
-minifigs: how many? generic legs and torsoes (no female specific print), and what about the heads? the easiest thing is to carry oldstyle minifig heads, but the new ones give you a wider range of expressions and secondary faces;
-technic: just some small stuff to build simple mechanisms, no beams.
-select multipurpose pieces, for example some technic bricks instead of normal bricks
-what not to carry: tiles, big specialised pieces... ?

The 2011 ninja are pretty much classic Lego ninja in four different colors. 2012 ninja look more Power Rangers with the armor bits and new style hood. 2013 ninja.. look around the same. 2014 ninja had bandanas and exposed hair. 2015 had two other variations besides the black+color.

It's possible to have full sets of Ninjago ninja in vastly different outfits.
