WF versions also fluctuate a lot. WF Jolyne and WF Gold Experience Requiem can show up anywhere between 4k to 6/7k, or even 3k at least with WF GER.

Speaking of WF editions, ran into a 6k Koichi/Act 3 WF combo without the soundplate in otherwise great condition on Jungle. Can't believe anytime I see a version with the soundplate it's 3000 yen just for it to be included.

I understand that not having a complete set of everything devalues it for completionists, but I've never been too crazy about having soundplates all over my figures when I display them so I'm perfectly happy with it as is. Jungle has had more and more great prices compared to Mandarake just lurking out of curiosity lately, in case anyone's looking for purple Star Platinum or black Rohan.

Avoid being stiff or look like a dumb ballarina dancer. I always tend to tweak poses on a lot of my figures so I understand the issue on never finding a pose that work or satisfies your display idea. The best idea is finding reference material that is beyond the series that figure is from and also understanding the limitations of that figure's articulation so it doesn't look awkard or creates the chance you may ham hand it. Ultimately it's your figures so do what makes you happy with them but if you want to improve poses then search around online for references and test what your figure can do.

Worst case scenario is that figure lacks parts for a display you really want to do like every SHF Ironman for me doesn't have aiming repulsor hands without the peg on the palm so I'm tweaking shit very often with them.

Don't worry about posing being "good" that's subjective just make sure your display makes you happy. I guarantee you some shit poster show up saying your poses are shit. So I'm gonna leave you some tips and constructive criticism.

The best posed displays that I've seen using action figures in general usually have characters in dynamic or static poses which showcase some form of anticipation, reaction or emotion. The best example in your display are your Kira poses. Even though they have a static pose they give off a menacing look. Which is enhanced by the lighting of your photo. The worst posed are Cars, ACDC and Bruno 2nd who all look like they're waiting for something to happen.

Two major flaws with your display is too many characters have balled fists for unknown reasons. Your Okuyasu looks like he just walked out of the bathroom stall after leaving behind a huge dump. If you crouched his legs a bit you could make him look like hes actually excited about something. Could look even better if you posed Josuke accordingly who also has balled fists. Don't use balled fists unless your character is supposed to be pissed, punching or flexing.

Second flaw is a lot of your figures have this weird "I'm jumping for no reason" pose like Trish, Narancia and in some ways Dio. If your stands are hovering it would make much more sense to pose them behind their user (exceptions being KC and WS)

Other than that your display looks good but could use a little work. Don't be afraid to make your figures touch each other or interact with each other.

Good example of a dynamic static pose. Despite the characters not doing anything in particular you see how they're posed mid step. It produces an illusion of movement and direction and I highly recommend using this technique.

I was a little nervous on the GACT printing on his body being clean enough or have possible QC issues come up due to it but overall from what I've seen and from what I have, White Snake came out pretty good. In not sure why you're hesitant on getting stands. They look fantastic when paired up with their user, Whitesnake and Pucci in particular complement each other really well although I understand if it's simply not your thing.
Don't know what your customs fees are and since I live in Australia I don't need to pay GST unless it's over $1000, so if it's pretty expensive for you I'd evaluate how much this hobby means tool you.

No, figma hands are way larger, and their construction is different. SAS hands have holes that fit onto ball joints on the wrists. Figma hands have hinged pegs that fit into holes on the wrists.

I'm still bothered how Medicos did Pucci with his awakened head and a goddamn hat from one of the briefest scenes for it but didn't bother to throw in his original head in some way at release. The screaming head is bound to happen so I always kept that expected for Medicos releases for 1st's. It's largely accessories I always felt Medicos seems to be a mix bag on since it's either parts your rarely ever use or shit so small that popping the tray becomes a surprise game of finding Kira's watch or Crazy Diamond's glass heart. Pucci and White Snake was okay with the CD's even with the stickers needed but if they were so scene specific with Pucci's hat and not green baby or a cross I was surprised they didn't throw in the pistol White Snake had in Stone Ocean with a hand to accompany it. It's really the oddest thing with them when they deal with JoJo but they went pretty far with Shinichi's release with an alternate arm, hands, and even Migi's and IBM with the 3 heads (even though they expected fans to buy two)

Fairly sure that more so has to do with the fact that Pucci was made fairly later on. Being beaten to death by all the generic screaming heads seems to be a recent trend, so there's a fair chance it could continue for Gyro and Valentine.

What I fully expect Medicos to do is neutral and yelling heads with the major accessory being either one or both hands aimed to fire nail bullets. Beyond that it' up to chance if they go the extra effort instead of the minimum with things such as bullet effects like Mista and packing in Tusk Act 1 to the side with some sort of side arm that attaches to the main arm to have it float near Johnny like SHA for Kira. Medicos will probably save something for his inevitable WF variant but then that becomes a question if they will let us down again like Jolyne with a terrible soundplate choice or shock us like WFGER with the alt Giorno head post-requiem. It's a sort of gamble now

Accessories and Heads require different molds, and are expensive. Characters with 3 heads usually lack accessories to compensate, or have a higher price.
Two big heads of simple sculpts is the easiest option, since they can't reuse models for anything except recolors.
Silent head and screaming head are usually the safest options too, and if they spent the time giving everyone a unique head that isn't just screaming, they'd probably face problems.

If you aim to get certain figures at the event like WF exclusive SAS's then your best bet is trying Mandarake within the WF days since people go over there to pick up and sometimes sell at Mandy stores and it shows up within the site. I know for more trickier orders like garage kits you may need a proxy to go to the actual event or find a site that offers sale for WF kits.

WF SAS do end up in AmiAmi's preowned spot but if you want them soon then go Mandy within the time frame and be ready to order if you don't mind the initial costs for being WF exclusive and being early sales. Oddly enough WF GER broke my expectations seeing he came with an alternate head and he sort of came down in price in a few months from certain stores.

Medicos hasn't done a new figure proper after finishing a part only to add a new character to the old lineup. If they finished a part then any chance of a new character is dead like Foo Fighters since they are doing Part 7 now for the JJBA line.

If or when we get a anime adaptation of Part 5 then they will do recolors and reissues for a line with already cheap characters for 2nd hand.

Rohan is Rohan given his status and Part 4 gives them a reason to do a new one since they did a new sculpt with his Highway Star outfit in 2012.

I've been fairly realistic with this company now so I might as well say chances for a Doppio is very low whereas a Part 5 anime would give a reason to recolor Diavolo (not unless they really want to kick us in the nuts and just reissue him 2x over and leave it at that)

While this is true, we should consider that Medicos is now getting to the final parts of the series. After they finish with essentials of SBR and JJL, I don't think it's impossible that they decide to revisit the earlier parts. Also, the line started in the 25th anniversary, wasn't it? Not saying I'm sure it's gonna happen, but I think it's good to keep these things in mind and don't completely discard possibilities.

For the Swarovaski SAS? You have to be physically at the event after buying the WF figure. There is usually a ticket within (I know one of my WF figures has one)

I'm just going by memory but I think you submit the ticket and you get a number and they roll the one that gets the chance to buy the figure. Wond mentioned 2 WF's ago a guy behind him in line actually scored the winning number after his was rejected.

The only other way to get those during WF's days is probably knowing a guy to go there and pick it up for you if he someone rolls the winning number.

There are two lotteries, one is a tombola system. The first 300 people get to play. White ball means you lost, gold ball means you win. That's what Wond was talking about, and the system he eventually won through.

The ticket you're taking about is a separate lottery. At the end of the day Medicos post up a list of numbers at their booth. You have one of those numbers on your card and you're a winner.

I've been mostly consistent on collecting WF SAS (WF Johnathan really stood out after the Jolyne blunder) but WF Pucci's color isn't standout for me now but his status will probably make him above average on Mandarake once the initial pricing goes down or if they begin to fill up shelves and sell slowly. Wouldn't really feel bad missing him, Medicos should've threw in Green Baby to give him a little more reason to buy him.

They had committed to Jojo way before its renewed popularity peaked or said games were even a concept. Jojo has always been a strong property. While the same can be said for Kinnikuman, the fan community must have just had a like warm reception to them, while the Jojo fan base were all up for figures.

Much in the same way that the One Piece fan base have shown preference towards statues over possible figures, which is why the Figuarts Zero line initially did phenomenally well.

I've bought two SAS off amazon, Giorno and Mista, and while the Giorno one came within 2 weeks and was perfect, the Mista one never came and it took me basically threatening the seller for me to get my money back, I even waited 2 months for it to arrive so I wasn't being unreasonable but the seller kept trying to blame me and a lot of times I emailed them I just got an automated response. That seller even had like 90% positive reviews so I thought I was going with a reliable option. I've heard other anons have gotten broken figures, but that could happen with Amiami and Mandy just as easily so I wouldn't write off amazon completely if it's what suits you.

Clear The World goes for around 50,000yen, and while you can find clear Killer Queen for around 120,000, it's still tricky with many places still posting him for 200,000yen or thereabouts. From what I've seen the Black Version is usually cheaper than the White but sometimes they're priced the same when they're the same condition (around ¥7000). Both are on Mandarake for around ¥6000. I own both but I would personally go with the Black Version because of the Heaven's Door piece.

Give the lanky nature of this guy combined with the 3 different heads and sheer height over everyone else and I feel this one of Medico's best releases and I've been collecting the JJBA line for a few years now. The long limbs and double jointed areas give him strong range of movement. What helps is the largely non-messy design that isn't hindered by shoulder armor, waist pieces, and other such assortments that is usually found on the usual JJBA stand design and the sculpting is pretty nice on this one also for something simple. Gave me hope that Medicos can perform outside of JJBA but Tokyo Ghoul really hurts that now.

Anyway I really, really recommend him as a sort of figure to test poses and display ideas.

Only have 6 figures currently (7 if you count a loose Heaven's Door), but my favorite is Highway Star Rohan. The alternate "daga kotowaru" face makes it for me. Had one of the Ajin's a while back before I gave it to my brother, who's a bigger fan of the series. That one was probably more fun to mess around with, but only because it felt like a blank slate figure.

Mista and KQ are tied for close second. I thought I'd like Kira more because of his accessory count, but the lack of smug smirks among the three heads is disappointing.

WF Joseph is one of my favorites, as cliche as it is. All of the part 2 figs are fantastic, but the color variation from the solid blues on top if his great engineering and varied accessories wins if for me.

So the numbers for Baoh and Pucci WF exclusives have been announced.

Dude, WF exclusives are never an indication whatsoever. All they've basically done is go through their past releases and just take a protag/antag or their stand that hasn't had a WF exclusive yet and make one of that. The main exception being Okuyasu, but that was a one off due to the anime and lack of a pink oku to go with the other two.

I could have told you for free that Pucci was a surefire bet for an exclusive as he was the most recent antag released. Same case with PB Dio last event. It was gonna be either him or Diavolo, or at a push maybe a Stone Free or Whitesnake.

Swarovarski The World. Those SAS's get special boxes. Medicos does this every so often for WF and the usual aftermarket on them is really up there. I even remember an AmiAmi listing crystal Gold Experience for 183k (yes that much but that's on AmiAmi's idea of aftermarket on that particular Swarovarski SAS)

The Clear SAS's are generally a "cheaper" end of the super limited SAS line with The World being 50k or so and Killer Queen taking the top spot.

I don't have the shots but you have obscenely obsessive fans with deep pockets. There's one guy who would go to WF and directly buy the Swarovarski's and other limited SAS off people and he entire display cabinets are filled to the brim with JJBA merch from a ton of SAS's to those exclusive watches that would cost an arm (at least to me)

Not even going into the guy who buys 2 or every SAS to make the "perfect" one though taking parts.

There's two ways you would get it. The first is to straight off buy it, it was sold for about 3000yen several years ago in a built-it-yourself pack. Second way is from the DVD that came with the first collection book (that came with DIO awakened 2nd). It was a PDF on that you had to print out yourself.

You can easily piece together why most of this stuff isn't with the main group, but as for Crusaders, both SP colors I like are pricey, Joseph is always sold out, I don't like Avdol's colors and Polnareff looks like straight ass. They're just on the bottom of my priority list, but I'll probably get them eventually.
