That doesn't always work on female figures though, because we're so used to seeing them all dolled up with a ton of make up on.

But come to think of it I havent seen the black series branded 3.75 at ny local TRU or I just havent been looking and havent noticed. I think they mostly focused efforts into cheaper 5poa stuff. Personally, I'm not huge on the 3.75" Black Series. They just seem a bit flimsy to me. Not to mention most of them are painted like shit. 6" don't always have the best paint jobs either, but they bad paint jobs are nowhere near as prevalent as they in the 3.75" line.

Also for longer time collectors why has Hasbro's paint jobs gone to hell? Even POTF2 20 years ago was better once they got out of their steroid phase. They had decent sculpts, great paint apps, and they were fuckin' sturdy to. I know mine went through hell as a kid and they're all still intact. Episode I figures were even better in terms of sculpts and paint. Episode II had a fucking awful toyline. Everybody looked like they were squatting to take a shit. Episode III had that perfect balance where the figures had just the right amount of articulation without getting ridiculous, but also would have a action featured alternative figure for younger kids. After that I quit til Force Awakens and I don't think it's just my nostalgia that's making me notice there's been in insane dip in quality.

This anon here with a hunt report. Went after class tonight to 2 24 hour walmarts. I forget how comfy night driving is. No one on the roads, listening to my favorite podcast. Catch all the lights. Anyways the one was pretty beat and didnt have much. Just the same shit black series as usual. Marvel legends section had about 10 batrocs which was odd as well as a movie electro. They had a few strange wave figures but they were all missing the BAFs. I guess this area has savage collectors as I have never seen that happen at my local targets. There was also about 5 other collectors there at around midnight which was weird.

The 2nd one was awesome though. Large supercenter version. No royal guards unfortunately but they had K2 and deathtrooper which I grabbed. at MLs there was a venom right there front of the peg just waiting for me. I picked up ultimate spidey too which I had passed on a few times.

On the way home I swung by a walgreens and snagged an emperor's wrath vader. So overall good haul with venom being the best surprise.

Will have to go back to the better walmart again, it was in shopping center heaven too as there was a TRU and 2 targets so I will have to come back during the day because the area seems untouched.

A lot of the blunders by the CIS were done by Palpatine so that the Jedi would be too distracted thinking they keep winning each fight that's thrown at them. I need help anons.

I have one S.H figurarts darth vader, I like the molding and everything apart from the swooshed cape.

But I also actually enjoy the black series, bigger figures (I'm more a size fag), they generally look the part, cheaper, and hell they scale with my neca figures like my 2 bros pic related

But then I saw the new S.H figurarts stuff coming and I went nuts, even though I have black series variants of them I pre-ordered them all (especially the classic storm trooper who I'm still looking for for the black series, anychance of a rouge one version or is my only hope ebay? ).

My problem is I'm trying to cut down on spending, should I continue with the black series exclusively and keep that one s.h figurarts darth vader alone or should I try to sell off my black series and stick to s.h figuarts?

Also if it helps, I'm not great at posing stuff, so the articulation advantage the bandai figures have is lost when all I really need is done by the black series.

Also another question, I got the old luke, the one in a suit thing, and next to the new hope luke he's shorter, did they change the sizing, I only got into the black series when I randomly found walgreens vader then I spotted this older luke in a clearance store

I think the Bossk wave was poorly distributed, I'm in OK and I never saw a single one. Shock Trooper was a single shipment IIRC so those went quickly. Palpatine was wave 2(?) He's one of the better EU characters, partially because he was the main character in the first KotOR, which people love, and where his design was really damn cool, and then the mythos behind him was heavily expanded in the sequel, which cock-teased a great finale involving him that never properly came, since the original idea for the third game got cancelled.

You should check them out, the KotOR games are pretty gr8. First one hasn't aged the best and is pretty standard Star Wars fare, but the sequel with its restored content mod is still one of the best things to ever happen to the franchise ever.

But yeah that was a whole stupid phase of star wars. Thanfully it was just one novel and I dont think it was injected into any comics. To be fair it came at a time when zombie love was at it's peak and everything was zombies. I would still rank vong higher because of how long it lasted and how much it effected canon. Deathtroopers was a drop in the bucket comparitively.
