They upped it to 49 now. I know it really sucks. But on the flip side I believe they also started allowing Amazon prime membership to be purchased in monthly increments instead of the full year package if you wish. Left looks better proportioned as well as having a better paint finish and a sculpt that actually looks like a person wearing an actual outfit (since the BS surprisingly looks way too wrinkled when I compare it to movie screencaps), but that's about it. So I stopped by my local TRU earlier during my lunch break. Like another anon already mentioned, it seems they're waiting for the old Black Series figs to sell before they put out the Rogue One wave. Problem is, the entire BS area (there were like 5 pegs worth, each full) had literal dust collecting on them. Each one. I would've taken a pic but my phone's camera sucks. So, I guess they're just not gonna put them out for awhile, because its pretty clear they're not selling. They had like 10 Constable Zuvios, several Guavian Enforcers, and a couple others from the older Force Awakens waves.

So yeah, not looking like I'll be getting that Hovertank Pilot for awhile.

The BAT-AT was released 3 times (I think); the original release, an Empire Strikes Back Vintage Collection release (exact same toy as the original, just inside a nice ESB box), and a Return of the Jedi Vintage Collection release, which is what I have.

As you can see, the ROTJ release had a darker color scheme than the Hoth walkers (which looks gorgeous!) and dirt "weathering."

The original release was $100, and I remember seeing stacks of them at a K-Mart marked down to $50 at one point, heh. The ROTJ Vintage Collection release was $150 due to being a TRU exclusive and releasing four years after the original release.

The problem now is that because the BAT-AT is long since out of production, you're probably going to have to pay a considerable mark-up to get one now. I haven't checked prices, but I imagine getting one anywhere close to the original MSRP would be considered a great deal nowadays.

On the bright side, there is a brand-new AT-ACT toy being released later this year. It looks pretty cool, and even features actual walking action!

On the down side, it looks to be a little smaller than the BAT-AT, the proportions don't look quite as good as the BAT-AT (legs look a bit too stubby in my opinion, though I understand that's probably for stability), and it's going to cost $300. There's always the chance of the BAT-AT being reissued, but Hasbro hasn't been too keen on revisiting older vehicle molds lately and I image they want people to buy the AT-ACT instead, so a reissue seems rather unlikely (in the near future, at least).

If you can though, get a BAT-AT. They look great, have tons of play features, and are just an awesome toy.

It's from the Vintage Collection, but I know it was originally released in another line (with a Hoth color scheme, I think) and it was re-released in the Black Series as part of a TRU exclusive Endor set.

And yea, it's a superb rendition of the AT-ST! Excellent sculpt and paint job, appears to be accurately scaled and properly seats two pilots (you can lift the entire roof to help you get in there), and has fully articulated legs. Its one weakness is that the leg joints tend to weaken over time, and you'll hear complaints of the walker collapsing on its own, but if you position the legs carefully to balance the weight it's not a problem. Have had mine watching over my Imperial shelf for 4-5 years now without issue.

Highly recommended toy! It's actually responsible for getting me back into collecting Star Wars toys after like a 2 decade hiatus, haha. Spotted it on clearance at Kmart and couldn't resist picking it up; my wallet has happily suffered ever since. :D

The Vulture Droid is from the Phantom Menace 3D line a few years back. It was a Walmart exclusive, but it's readily available for under $20 on Amazon.

Also a very cool toy! Transforms easily between modes, well-articulated walker mode, nice Episode I deco, and fun unobtrusive gimmicks. A worthwhile addition to your Separatist forces.

This makes me a bit sad I always passed up on all the vehicles like the xwing, AT AT, ATST, Rancor when I saw them clearanced at TRU. Damn I had them in my hands multiple times but naahh i got other priorities or they will be here next week.

Wish I had more vehicles as i have a sizeable 3.75" collection still. Hopefully we get some new OT vehicle refreshes but unlikely as it seems the 3.75" is on life support pretty much. Maybe when it gets a reboot.
