The thing is a "robot" is something artificially created to do work. Which is exactly what the inhabitants of the MU are. The Glatorian and Agori? No, they're not robots. They are true cyborgs because the mechanical enhancements are modifying pre-existing organics. But it literally does not matter if Matoran have organics or not. Those organics are just as artificial as the mechanics created alongside them. They're robots.

Plus. How the fuck can I be "wrong" when this is all science fiction anyway? Not to mention, the definitions on this subject are so sporadically defined across all forms of media. It's completely pointless to tell someone their viewpoint on the matter is "wrong."

I'm just saying... Since this is a fictional world with ill defined rules, using the term "robot" to generalize something which is robotic in any capacity isn't necessarily wrong. As long as someone is at least aware of their organic nature, if they choose to call them something like "cool robots with elemental powers", they shouldn't then have to face pretentious assholes butting in with their "facts" (or sometimes complete lack-there-of) and correcting them with an implied "AAAACTUALLY..." every time. Most Bionicle characters are unable to function without their organic parts, unless they had a failsafe rebuild module in their brains like the Toa Mata (further complicating the matter). The Makuta commented on the fact that when their organic parts turned into antidermis, they couldn't move at all and had to make special suits of armor to keep themselves intact. A robot shouldn't need muscles and ligaments and shit to move.
I was a fucking nerd who read Bonkle books as a kid, so I payed special attention to every moment their organic parts were mentioned so I could show my friends and be like "See? They're not robots!".

So just got the last of the skeletons with Kulta & Ekimu. Have to say, Kulta is pretty...meh. Not really that impressive of a built overall, I actually wish he and Ekimu had been separated so more parts could have gone into him to put him on Umarak's level.

Hugebricks was a guy who made some female figures, which he dubbed the Moenicle.
The Moenicle figures are something he put some decent work into, with the figures developing quite a bit from iteration to iteration.

The V2 Moenicle had huge boobs made out of Hero Factory shoulder pauldrons and the bottom halves of standard System boulders. When Hugebricks finished the V3 Moenicle frame, however, he had no use for the boulder parts. As a farewell, he turned them all into boob spiders, which then attacked and attached themselves to the reboot Toa.

Rather usefully for those interested, Hugebricks posted a how-to on the old Moenicle V2 frame. Several other dudes made some use of it in MOCs of their own, it's on his Flickr and Brickshelf. Anyways, since some dudes have asked, I'll post tutorials on ass, tits, etc. which I've gleaned from here and there.

I don't have any result pictures for this on a figure, but I'm sure there were some. The cheeks were tight enough to hold about a 1x1 round System piece, so I guess that's pretty good?

I think that I've posted enough. I've seen some other material in this vein come out of this general following some of these, ranging from a few months ago with that guy's Stormtrooper, to much more recently, like that one MOC with the Mata Miru, or that awesome dude with the entirely original frames. Neat stuff.

I'd say this is arguably the most important part of this assembly. The huge ass is really a sort of enhancement on a butt design NSSD created, the Nimbutt. Without it the ass isn't nearly as huge,but since the thighs are your focus this shouldn't be too big of a problem.

It's quite possible to find even more techniques for boobs, butts, and other various body shapes and appendages if you look through Tumblr, Flickr, Brickshelf, etc. Some builders are more prolific than others and so you get more techniques out of them as individuals. That's tenacity if I've ever seen it. I said it last thread and I'll say it now; the variety is staggering.

Oh. Those. They aren't good for much. The same can be said for CCBS in general though. I hate how wobbly the shells are. Not to mention their shape. Set limbs look like long boxes cut in half. Plus the shell leaves the bone completely visible and exposed from one side. I can't look at a set without seeing it. It's a real eyesore. The way the CG modelers mess with the design to make it presentable makes me kek though. It's like telling the design team they fucked up. Which they did.
And who's bright idea was it to remove axle holes from even the bones?! I mean, what the hell man? This made CCBS crazy incompatible and limited in options. It even hurt set design. Whoever is responsible should have a pepper shoved up his ass and then forced to make things right.

I'm honestly pissed at the direction the Uniters went for that reason. True, they integrate Technic way more than last year or HF ever did, but it feels like instead of actually improving CCBS as a system, with more versatile shells and bones and shit, like you're suggesting; they just said "fuck it" and made the Uniters a Frankenstein of both the CCBS and Technic systems.

I was more bothered by the change in size and the useless body shell piece that is too short for the body among other things.

Can't say I'm as irritated as you by the Uniters. First off, it's a chance to get various pieces I missed the first time. Second, it's like the company admits and attempts to address the various issues CCBS suffers from. Perhaps LEGO has concluded that fixing and expanding on CCBS would be less profitable than patching it up for the rest of it's lifespan. Who knows? Maybe we'll get a new system once bionicle ends.

You seem to forget that 90% of bionicle was badly proportioned, gappy, prefab bones that didn't even support basic armor addons a lot of the time. Your complaints about CCBS armor being gappy or showing then bones means absolutely nothing when you're trying to compare it to bionicle.

The only reason bionicle was half decent as a building system was that they pumped out new pieces so ridiculously quickly that after so many years of it being around, there were bound to be enough parts that looked good. Early bionicle mocs were pure garbage.

Bionicle+technic+system looks better than pure CCBS. Which is what you're used to. But pure bionicle is just as bad as pure ccbs. I think that people like djokson have already proved that if you're not capable of using ccbs in ways that look good, you're just unskilled, and that it's no fault of the building system.

I actually like Kopaka better than his Master version. If not just because it looks to me a little more like how Kopaka should be IMO. I wasn't a fan of Mr. Bulk McBigShield. Despite its physical flaws, the Uniter's lean phisque just works for me more. Plus, the sword is sweet and I actually like his new mask better than the old one, personally.

Lewa and Onua are the only ones with proper color schemes and weapons that aren't a step down from their 2015 counterparts. You could argue Kopaka's sword but he still has that rinky dink shield-gun. Sorry, but I don't see how they're better.

I don't think the SW constraction can be that profitable in the long run. Without things like Grievious and vader we see a half of the wave on the shelves for eternity.

Not many, which is why I didn't buy anything except titans and bad guys until 2005. Again, if you bought the wrong sets that's only your own fault. They make sets at all price points so different people with different budgets can still buy lego, but it's always been obvious which ones had higher value/price ratios, unless you're buying the sets for reasons besides the parts.

Note that the current bionicle line has plenty of technic in all the sets, ESPECIALLY the small ones. Which is apparently one of your metrics of quality. It's certainly one of mine, and one of the biggest reasons that I believe G2>G1.

I think I've made it clear several times that I don't give 2 shits about the official sets and that we both agree they're mostly bad and that the designers have no excuses. Taste is subjective. Compatibility isn't. The less connection points and/or connection types a piece has, the less compatible it is.
On the subject of taste, I find Toa Ju's mocs better than anything posted here so far. By your logic this means that G1>CCBS.

My personal criteria are the amount of useful pieces and how good the set looks. Korgot for example is one of the best sets of the entire CCBS run so far. You cannot go wrong with her. LOSS on the other hand is the return of the Witch Doctor to a degree. Ugly, bad articulation, but a good parts pack.

Who cares if you do or don't do? I expressed my opinion, you attacked it and I explained it. It's irrelevant whether you give two shits or not and the way you talk shows you're self-centered. One of the reasons why I compared you to Chris.

Can they? Remember that sets have a production cost they need to be under. Plus there's other limitations, for example the style they're going for, or the fact that they don't want to hybridize their sets.

The transparent parts are made of polycarbonate. My suspicion is that the bi-color/duel injected parts are the ones, along with the two pieces of the unity torso which would explain the inconsistencies people are having in regards to the friction of the mechanism.
