Nah, this is the only doll clothes in this scale that I know of, just be careful which ones you're choosing. I've got an off-shoulder sweater that works alright, but some people have said clothes with sleeves look make their shoulders look kind of high because of the way the joints are. Also, the skirt that came with it doesn't velcro all the way in the back because of their hips.

Some people also use clothes from castoff figs like the Queen's Blade revoltechs. Those tend to be skimpy dresses and the like. I personally bought a Alice because I saw this pic before >>5539927 and now I've been on the lookout for others that might look good.

Does anyone have any experience with the Mobile Movementess line? I kind of like a few of the designs, but they seem rather expensive and I'm wondering if they're actually worth that price point.

The MoMo line is fro a company called Original Effect.

There's an OE general up right now (>>5494273) and there usually is one up.

Anyway, I only bought one. The very first one that came out, and I didn't like it at all. The final figures vary greatly from the prototype shots. I mean, full production figures never look like the prototypes, but often times the paint is way off. Some of the more recent ones were supposed to have a nice metallic paint, but never did.

The also cut away most or all of the accessories that the first few figures were supposed to come with.

The one I bought...uh, whatever her name was. The "Orca" colored one wasn't very good. QC wasn't real great during those first figures, and I don't know if it has gone up any over time, as the first one was so bad I never bought another one.

Can't say for sure. On one hand, that looks like the exact same sculpt as Clover/Sham's feet. So it would make sense for the sandals to be an addon instead of molding a whole new foot piece. I was thinking about putting Alice's dress on my Shamrock when I get him, but then I remembered that QC on them isn't so great and the paint rubbed off on Alice's chest.

The body parts on the QB figures would probably be a bit too skinny to look normal aside from the thighs which are pretty chunky. The titty piece is also made of a softer material and would need to be coated with something before being painted to keep the sheen consistent across the figure.

Thanks, I am still around. I have a FDM printer at my disposal now, so for certain simple object I don't need to go through shapeways. (i.e. the stiletto heels are essentially too delicate, but I should be able to manufacture the wedges my self now.)

If anybody has any suggestions or requests for other accessories I would be glad to hear them. As of now the plan is to make the wedges and then start prototyping the full figure, but I am totally up for making other parts as time allows.

I think it would be hard to make parts that stylistically matched the originals well enough to look good next to them. I am not sure if I could pull that off yet, but I might be covering that with the figure I am making. It is intended to be the same scale and interchangeable with the polynians, so as long as they more or less match from an aesthetic perceptive the parts from my figure could be swapped. If somebody ends up wanting to do that I will make individual parts available. Just for reference the pic attached is the mock up of my figure I made last year, it is really not detailed enough and I will have to remodel the whole thing but it is kinda I will be going for.

The particular martial I have access to is not flexible at all but I don't think it would need to be for what you propose. Shamrock's waist separates at the narrowest part so it would not be had to slip him in to a corset, collars and belts would work too you just have to detach limbs to put them on. They might reduce flexibility but it would be hard to avoid that.

So I tried my hand at making a under bust corset and a few cuffs/collars. I think they turned out pretty okay it, the only real issue I have is the bits of white plastic where I had to cut off support marital.

You can see the prototype for the 18mm ball joint in the center there, the tolerances are not quite right yet. And about the resin casting thing, that was part of the plan at one point and it still might be. If the el cheapo FDM printer can make parts of sufficient quality, it was used to make the pink parts in the picture, then it would be more cost effective to do that instead of making one high quality master and then doing silicon and resin casting. But resin casting would still be cheaper then using shapeways for a kit of this size. (I have priced it out and shapeways would be about as expensive as a real polynian, which I want to try to avoid.)

Like I said, the way the verbs changes among the 3 polite forms (5 since 2007 apparently, WTF. 3 is commonly accepted still) have very little "rules" to them. You just have to memorize it all really.

I don't know what level of knowledge you have, if you studied Japanese literature at university like my father or taught Japanese for a living like my mother, then I guess you are talking about something I am not aware of. I just translated Japanese to English for like 2 years.

I didn't even go into all the dialects that sometimes sounds like a different language altogether.

Anyways, if it was simple translation programs would output more comprehensive sentences.
