Got a Cyuchergoh I bought rom an anon on BST today! She's alright, but surprisingly was more loose at first than my Zwei. Unlike Zwei she also actually had a loose zipper, but it wasn't too hard to fix.

They look kinda good together, surprisingly. I'll try and post some pics tomorrow.

I also still want to get Daisy and Clematis. I'll be getting paid soon and can easily afford them now, but I have to save money and I feel guilty. Dammit.

The only real problem I have with Cyuchergoh is that her upper knees are stiff, and I'm nervous to try and expose them to warm water to loosen them up a bit.

Since I wanna fix Cyuchergoh, do you guys think using molydbenum grease to loosen the knees could work, or should I still consider just using warm water? If I were to use grease, I think it may make sense to try and dab it on with a Q-tip or so, though I am not sure if this would get into the joints well.

Some of my MoMos have this issue when I open the package, but after trying to bend them little by little, the knees loosen up with no problems, at least that was my case

I was giving this a try before I'd posted, it was starting to work, but I was fearful of hamhanding. Will get to work on better pics!

Nice to know about the next wave's prototypes and POs, looks like OE may be doing something about all of those complaints. Also good to know exactly when to expect the next wallet rape session.

Alas; I tried doing what Figmoe suggetsed and I broke Cyuchergoh's knee. Her left bends fine, her right's upper joint simply refused to move and snaped out. I can see the break, and I know how the part went in, so I'm confident I can fix it with perhaps some pinning, but it breaks my heart that I hammed a figure. The rotating portion of the leg has also become super-loose, though I suspect some pledge or the like could fix it.

On that note, you know of any really, really good plastic glues? I know of Citadel, which is pretty alright, but GW is a pretty evil company and I'm reluctant to shell out for them. I think if I'm going to try pinning, I'll also need something that'll let me mark both areas where pinholes should go on the joint.

Gray Flesh Polynians are also out for PO about now. My wallet is having an existential crisis here. If I wait to PO them and MoMos at the same time, I know I'll miss out on one or the other. Fuuuck.

Yeah, I was lurking in the Polynians thread recently, and these Grey version of Clover and Shamrock looks really cool
I couldn't get the normal Clover back when she was released as I have many things in PO, but I will try to get at least Dark Clover
Based on the pics that I have seen of her, she is really fun to play with

Keep in mind that the OE females from the Army Attractive line are a bit bigger that the regular 1/6 females, they have more amazonian proportions so to speak, so these clothes fit a bit tight, the soldier helmet doesn't fit in part to the sculpted hair of Harp

The weapons (FN P90 that she have in her hand and the other in her back) I got them loose, so I can't provide a toymaker/company, but there are plenty of companies that make 1/6 weapons, so I don't think that it will a problem to get some weapons for your figure

Ah shit, Optune actually replied to me about my busted Cyuchergoh! I'm really surprised, but it happened. He said there wasn't anything he could really do, and suggested I call the shop where I bought her, but I'm SOL there as I got her secondhand.

He actually went and called OE on the phone, and they're the ones who told him that the MP part'd be difficult to repair. I still want to try the pinning+glue or just glue idea I had. I'm gonna try and make a diagram of it and then run it by him, see what happens.

A couple can also be bought from places like Ekia Hobbies, BBTS, etc. You can also buy them all from Amazon and Ebay but these seem to have the worst price bloat.

Depending on which MoMos you want you may have to go to different sites. Amazon has pretty much all of those released but, again, has the worst price bloat.

AmiAmi is completely sold out of all MoMos except for Chocolatte and Hi-Riridine, but will likely carry the POs for future waves.

Be careful of QC issues! If your MoMo has stiff knees use warm-but-not-boiling water to loosen joints. If your MoMo has other problems or you need to replace parts you can try to consult Optune's twitter troubleshooting.

Except, keep in mind, that half of her joints will be too floppy to hold a pose for long, and she will frequently ragdoll under her own weight. Mine's limbs pop off if I so much as look at them funny, and forget about supporting a weapon or anything, she's just rubbery noodle joints attached to soft plastic parts, and she absolutely requires a stand to even come close to posing standing up.

The whole figure is just disappointing to me. So much so that I have avoided all the later releases and I can't see myself buying another MoMo. For their prices I expect better plastic, better paint, and better joints, even if the figure itself ends up smaller.

You can still get her and she'd likely be fine. That anon's posted a couple times before. He had bad experiences, so he mentions it. We also had a dude with a broken Hi-Riridine, and I busted my Cyuchergoh but I'm working towards fixing her.
I didn't have any of the other experiences that anon's describing with ether of my two MoMos.

Ultimately getting a MoMo is very much something you do at your own risk. If you like the aesthetic and really want one, go for it. If not, you can always wait around to see if there'll ever be another line of fembots out there ala the MoMos.

Ultimately that's just the way it is with MoMos. You buy it because you like the designs, not because of justification, and you take a gamble with quality because you like said designs. My hopes are raised a little by the post mentioning that some production quality had been raised for the sake of the first animal team, but it's still ultimately something you do at your own risk.

At any rate I already own two MoMos and I'll definitely be grabbing at least one of the new ones, so you can look out for that in the future if you want confirmation on current MoMo quality.

To be frank I wouldn't be surprised if they don't release them for quite a while on Ekia, because they've had Clematis and Dasiy on PO for some time where import stores have already released and later sold out MoMos. Something has to be going on there, because they have promo images. I guess, with the exception of Amazon most western stores just shouldn't be considered often for MoMos. It may be a situation like with Daibadi's Yume, where there have been delays due to shipping, but I think that's too much conjecture, where it'd be better to wait instead.

IMO It wouldn't be surprising if the import sites at least are sitting on the POs so that they can be announced with other new releases at the same time.

I just got my first MoMo and I'm a little disappointed. I picked out Daisy and her bunny ears throw her so off-balance she topples over. Not to mention she can barely hold her sword because it makes her whole hand fall off. I'm really in love with her design which is what made me buy her in the first place, but she definitely needs stronger joints in the hands and neck to be stable. Her legs are really good in terms of flexibility/stability so that's a plus.

No actually, it's quite fantastic! I'm impressed with the metallic paintjob she has. I was wondering if she was actually metal before I picked her out of the tube!

The tube was super shitty and she fell apart in it, though. Fuck their packaging. Right now Daisy's neck and wrists are sporting donor joints, courtesy of some unused revoltech stands. I'm seeing at least an 80% improvement now. The balls on these are a bit big, and now her elbows are kinda unstable, but I feel a lot better about this purchase now.

These weapon kits are for 1/100 or 1/144 plamos, but I think that they work ok enough with bigger figures like the MoMos
But not every weapon will be small, take for intance the M.S.G Weapon Unit MW09 Naginata/Sniper Rifle

The sniper is a bit too big for Cyuchergog to use it, but still looks good enought if you ask me, a 1/12 figure will look like a midget beside it IMO

And yeah, I have that same M.S.G, Assault Rifle and I think that they have a good size for the MoMos, but in some cases these weapons could not as good as we wanted, but at least they are cheap and we can paint them with the color motif one the figure we want to be the permanent owner

The only complaint I have were that the eyes got a bit lose after just a bit of meddling. Was able to reshape the putty they used to keep the eye in place, and it's fine now.
