Got my Buzzsaw in the mail today, the smartphone and bird modes are nice, forklift however leaves a lot to be desired considering all the holes, the fact they're trying to make them triple changers is cool I guess, but some vehicle modes are gonna be a mess as a result.

To be honest, Galvatron is one of the biggest offenders as a triple changer. Why did he need a jet mode? I'm totally alright with him being a headmaster, and I get that they want to give the Titanmaster something to "pilot" but how is a giant cannon something that they can't have them pilot, or sit in? Instead they give him a "jet" mode by adding an obnoxious jet piece which just becomes giant back kibble in robot mode, and a big piece that just sits underneath the cannon mode. They made it too big, why not make it a small cockpit with the cannon sitting underneath like Cybertronian Animated Megatron? It just seems like something completely necessary that just gets in the way. Not to mention, it barely even pulls off the form with the legs.

I don't think Buzzsaw is bad all around, it's just the vehicle mode that's dumb, so Laserbeak should be fine.

I'd assume they could. Just give the head a bit of a mane (adjusting the parts as needed to account for it) for the lion dude, and a bit more extensive remolding (short, stubby legs, rhino head) for the rhino one.

Just got my first ever Transformer! I have never seen any of the cartoons, movies or comic books but have ridden the ride at USF several times and know the basic premise of the franchise but that is it.

So I started with the Robots in Disguise Warrior Class Drift and I'm really impressed so far. He looks cool in both forms and is fun to pose and play around with and so I will definitely be getting more in the near future.

Is this a good one or are there even better ones in the line? So many different types to choose from and entirely sure what the differences are at this point.

RID Drift is one of the better RID molds from what I've heard.

Are there better ones? Well, that's going to depend on what you like. If you like complexity, there are a lot that offer more partscount and intricacies that anything in the RID line. But if you like simple play that easy and intuitive to convert, there's other things.

You might want to try out one of the limb bots from the Combiner Wars line out now. They're all a decent balance of complexity and fun-factor, and they're all about even in terms of quality (give or take a few exceptions). Just go for a design you like. If you want something more complex and expensive, any of the recent Masterpeice Autobot cars (Sidwswipe through Tracks) are fantastic toys.

I'd say it's worth it, if you can get it at a decent price. I picked up my copy cheap, but even at normal retail it's not bad.

My classics had fine joints all around, but some blobby application of the paint aps, particularly the yellow. I liked the chrome thighs, its directly referencing the G1 toy as well which was a nice touch for a "then and now" toy pack.

Also, I have to say that the two pack's version of Evasion Prime is probably one of my favourite decos of the mold. The colour scheme in robot mode is great, and it breaks up the colour chunks of the normal release much better on the arms, chest, and legs. It also trades in the G1 inspired silver stripe on the sides for a prior movies deco blue flame motif which carries over to the legs in robot mode.

If you don't have a version of either mold, the two-pack is definitely worth taking a look for.

He is the Takara artist that does the comics that come with their toys. The problem is really that IDW doesn't pay that well so they don't have a big pool of good artists other than Griffith and Milne. The rest of them are all pretty bad like Livio.

Comic companies always look for whoever will work cheap. Marvel and DC have given some of their best titles to shit tier artists an uncountable number of times, and they're about as rich as you can get, comics-wise.

Actually DC pays a lot more than Marvel or Indies. It's why people are willing to put up with their bullshit more and why at the same people get burned out so fast working with them. And before that in 00s, you had everyone getting exclusives, which promised benefits and a higher traditional page rate as well as a certain amount of work.

I thought it looked familiar but it better suits packs in comics/"family friendly" stuff.

But I can't honestly tell if what is happening here, guessing ultra magnus told some odd joke and megatron tried to poorly run with it.

If so the art works, don't need that grainy rundown look, would be nice if the comics stuck to one fucking artist at a time for constancy in IDW than switching between 3 sets
