My favorite Elf.

Not many Princesses have two word names. Off the top of my head I can only think of the elf set.

<3 Outdoor Sex, <3 Body Paint, and she is fit. Very good set there that hits a lot of my likes which is why she is my favorite.

I suppose I sort of ignore her negatives but it is easy to headcanon strange art that is not something to be worried about.

Not very interested in the elfweed but not something I focus on for this princess. Wonder how she interacts with Arcane Princess though.

She is the first princess that I am covering that uses the idols so I will mention that the idols are probably my least favorite bonus format with the dowries being the best. Both the worship and renounce are decent for this princess though and spreading the renounce to all the princesses is a great idea.

Lastly, her lust bonus is a nice item. If I am going to be tasting a princess I want her to taste good and if a princess ends up sucking me off I might as well taste irresistible also. Also this makes her </3 Swallowing dislike irrelevant after you get it so she becomes even better.

Personally, I quite like idols. They are powerful, interesting, and you can choose if you want useful stuff, or fetish stuff.
Dowries are a classic, but I never liked how they were so restrictive on who I could save. Would prefer if each princess got to take one with her, without taking up two slots. Or if they worked like 40k girls chart, where we could use a point system to pick specific dowries.

Assassin/Ninja Princess

Due to Gen IIs odd formatting, I will be doing Assassin and Ninja together and doing Pirate on her own day later.

I kind of agree that there is not really much point in having both of the princesses, but at this point it would cause more trouble to fix it.

Both these princesses kind of play around the same tropes. Princess that specifically has orders to kill you but is actually not all that composed in certain situations.

I can go for a cute awkward girl though.

Both have the same number of stat points. Assassin is the better killer while Ninja has the better equipment for the job.

Assassin has some weird themes related to visions, memory and horses for some reason. They feel more tacked on since Ninja has the original proper themes. The Tower Princess reference is neat though. Her renounce effect probably has some uses, not sure that I want my cum to be a choking hazard but if you are going for assassin then blurring memories during your outings could be beneficial.

For ninja you either get a nightlife, which is reasonable, or you become illegitimate and dishonorable. Does not sound like a fun renounce to me but perhaps someone could pull a funny twist on it. Her fetishes have a nice double meaning along with her starting out wanting to kill you. Lastly, her Dark Sash lust bonus is a very neat stealth + movement buff with an added voyeurism benefit.

Assassin is easily the weaker card of the two but there are points where it could have potential. Just not really in a place where it can be fixed easily without messing with the weird place Pirate ended up or opening the can of worms that would be editing really old works which I believe would end up bad in the long run.

Tried to take what was there and shape it into a unique princess that shared very little with Ninja aside from what she had to.

Some things I like and some could be improved.

Removing the horse references is pretty good. It did not really fit. I can kind of see what they were going for, but there was not enough to tie the whole theme together.

I really like the <3 Disobeying Orders, or just <3 Disobeying even, and I do not think that has been done much yet. Works well with the Holy Eye setup.

I think the fact that she is still sent to kill the knight like Ninja is a negative though. Perhaps if her target was the other princesses and the Holy Eye's goal was to remove things that stood in the way of reaching Tower Princess like in the vision. Speaking of which, I think the clairvoyance lust bonus was one of the only good parts of the current Assassin Princess. Your lust bonus is nice, but it seems like she can already do that based on the fetishes and pro/cons you used.

And I thought her lust gift was nice too, but in changing her, i also had to change the eye, and decided to go for a more mysterious "What does the eye want" route, because if you worship the eye, The order to kill you ends. I did Like the seeing into the future thing, but ultimately I had to scrap it (Part of why this took so long, actually deciding that.)

That could maybe work. Optimally we would cut it down to 20. Move Assassin to a future gen with some rework. Put one of the Pirates back in her slot. That opens a whole can of worms with trying to please everyone and retreading old work too much that has been finished. Has his third pro always been "Has a sweet bulge, is a male" Cause I just took a closer look at his card again and do not remember it. I distinctly remember him being one of the traps that I had the hardest time spotting which is kind of sad if that has been in his traits this whole time.

Theme is kind of cool. Exotic items, traveling, and social reputation. Not bad overall. The Many Hands thing is also interesting since its one of the few that is not a kingdom name, which makes sense they are nomads, duh.

Has a nigh-incomprehensible language, which is a trait that I reused for Alien Princess much later.

For his idol, I wonder what the dangerous part of dangerously attractive means. I also hope that it does not make everyone androgynous since it is the idol of androgyny. A lot of them are pretty much gags and jokes, like Orphan (the least lewd possible), Jabberwock (literally an otaku), and so on. Other than the two mentioned, most don't get much notice since they really just don't stand out that much. Same with Gens 4 and 5; there's some okay designs, but they pale in comparison to what Gats made for Gens 1-3. There's a clear difference in emotion/feeling put into the characters, especially since all the ones in the first three gens feel like actual characters that'd fit well in pretty much any environment, while 4, 5, and the expansions are just insert characters. I'm sure there's one or two draw anons around who hopefully weren't hurt by that bullshit hurricane who can do some drawing. Otherwise, go ask /ic/ or some random drawthread, and get some cool images made. Better yet, put your wishes on paper and draw your own fanart to add to the pool.

I pointed out Orphan and Jabberwock for a specific reason in that their natures are much, MUCH more pronounced than the other expansion girls. Orphan is literally a kid who can't speak, and Jabberwock is the most randomly designed "dragon" of the bunch with a totally unfitting stereotype of a japanese otaku.

Pirate Princess

So can someone explain to me how we ended up with two Pirate Princesses? It was before I joined. Did it happen while Gats was still in charge or sometime after

Despite not being the original, I like the older version better. Card seems better, art seems better, and christmas cakes are not really represented much in towergirls so its nice to see that niche filled.

Both are pretty generic in terms of pirate traits with the exception of the desperate nature of older pirate.

Both have the same number of stats. It makes sense for the older Pirate to have shifted over to high love but I am not sure why she lost wealth or power.

Young Idol: Worship is an awesome pirate fleet. Renounced is a weird latex feeling....is that a fetish of some kind?

Old Idol: Sad that she turned to drink but adds more to her character. Not having a hangover is good and the renounced is pretty funny.

Both lust bonuses are kind of meh. The first does not really explain how it works, does it force them or is this just for indecisive people? The second is strong but not exciting and gaining a massive gain in wealth/power points seems a lot different than what other princesses give.

All art I ever see is of elder pirate only, so far anyways.

Probably just a side effect of the original gens being around longer and having more spread behind them for fan works to build up. We should probably consider ways to share our work once we get a set finished. At the moment it is all pretty internal and generally the same group of people.
