ya but thats every sleeve after a while. thats why every little bit you unsleeve everything and clean them off with rubbing alcohol. the thing with eclipse sleeves is they split easier than dragon shields and while it happens less frequently than the normal ultra pro sleeves it still happens much more commonly than dragon shields. seeing as you have to buy 2 packs eclipse sleeves to make a deck its not too annoying since you will have a ton extra but you are still paying much more than dragon shields and they split

Not "lately" but I was holding onto two Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet back when they were $40 each, but just tossed them in a binder and forgot about them. Then I checked them out, and they are worth like $10 now. I mean, comparatively speaking to most cards that's still worth something, but kinda a loss.

Oh well. I used one as a commander for awhile, and my friend borrowed both when we went to a standard GP, so they've gotten some play.

Guys, I'm living the dream, I got a copy of Grimlock and my friends are letting me house-rule it.

My question now is… how do I make this deck not suck?
I'm gonna have dinosaurs and werewolves and vehicles, but I've never really played a creature-based strategy… how do I not lose to wrath effects? are there mass regrowth effects that don't suck? Any help is appreciated. I'm not new or anything I just never play this style of deck.

If you mean the new dragons tribal commander deck that just came out, yes I couldn't agree with you more. I needed to add like $60 dollars worth of mana and ramp to make it playable.

However, the Wizards and Cats are playable right out of the box. I've done ten games with the Wizard deck, have yet to need to fix the mana.

My best deck, I've never priced, I just put it together with a bunch of old cards I had since '94 all the way up to 2015. If I had to guess, that might have close to $220 dollars in it, but it's dual color, and doesn't need expensive mana fixes.

I bought Leovold before he was banned and don't know what to do with him since there is no legacy anywhere near me. Got Kaalia, tried to build her. Saw that she was either Rekt or Get Rekt and passed. No I've got 2 $40 with no home and no one wants them. Learned to build the deck first and Commander last.

"Investors" haven't screwed me out of anything because I've been unemployed for most of august and don't get paid till the first of Oct so i doubt most of their buy outs will hurt me. While I want Disrupt Decorum and Teferi's Piss Break for Marduchesa and my upcoming deck I'll be fine for now. Current agenda is tune BUG Sidisi and start Zedruu.

But this is all rather moot since My play groups all either graduated college and moved, got real jobs, or live in the bigger city an hour away. I have am option between 2 LGS's with 30 minutes but one is in a different town and I've never played at the new one near me but am Afraid I'll get shrek'd.

One thing to keep aware of with this guy is that it's just straight up more costly for WotC to print DFCs, so it will probably be some time before he gets reprinted. The soonest possible return for him is FtV Transform, which will hardly drive the price down, and after that it wouldn't likely be unless they splurge on the next Masters.

How does Mind's Desire work with Sphinx-Bone wand. I'm hoping that every card I exile with Mind's Desire counts towards Sphinx-Bone Wand, but is there some difference between play and cast? I fear this is a nonbo.
Obviously I don't get the triggers off of every stormed spell, but maybe the ones I can cast with mind's desire? Same as Epic Experiment?

Play means you can also play lands that way. Spells are still cast when you play them though, so yes, and Instant or Sorcery played from Mind's Desire would interact with Sphinx-Bone Wand. The same is true for Epic Experiment. Even Mizzix Mastery, despite the fact you're casting copies.

Specifically the inclusion of the word "play" implies that you can also play lands exiled. If it was only "you may cast cards...", you may not play lands exiled that way. There's no other difference, so it would work with Sphinx bone wand.
If a effect copies a spell, the copy was never cast, unless it's stated otherwise, and this is the case for spells in the stack, see the difference in between wordings of Isochron scepter or Eye of the storm and Fork or Reverberate.

You could if you got the Fork from one of the storm copies of Mind's Desire. The original Mind's Desire will remain on the stack as all of its copies resolve, and you're able to cast spells in between any of the copies resolving.

Of course though, if you Fork a Mind's Desire it won't Storm again.

I have a question about my Omnath 2.0 deck

Let's say an opponent cast a boardwipe spell or a spot removal for Omnath (that would be most likely followed by a Wrath simply to avoid the damage), and I choose to sacrifice my elementals in response to gain additional benefits or actually be able to gain the benefit at all. So I sacrifice as many as I can via Perilous Forays to get more lands.
Would the landfall ability of Omnath activate before the Wrath/Path effect, so that I would be able to sacrifice even the elementals created because of Perilous Forays before the effect of the opponent's card activate?

They put their wrath/removal on the stack, and unless it has split second you can use Perilous Forays to sacrifice a creature, which will get you the Bolt, and when the land comes in, the landfall trigger. Perhaps even more important, if you can do this enough times, and manage to kill the player who cast the spell, then the spell is exiled and never resolves.

Well, I don't know about you, but my friend changed his Zedruu backstab deck for a more upfront one, since he thought that the deck wasn't as fun without the politics game, and no one was willing to change their optimal actions for a card that would get homewarded or straight fuck you up.

Although I say "upfront" he still uses stuff like steel golem to "force" someone to do what he wants. Have you tried the new curses? He really likes those, since he can cast them with politics, and then extra politics it for a donation of it.
