Thoughts on Mortarion so far? He seems like a very well rounded combat beast and force multiplier. Not as buggy as Roboute, not as strong psychically or against big dudes as Magnus but decent at both and quite good at clearing chaff too.

It's not technically WRONG, but it's hugely misleading and not used that way. A Canadian would never call themselves an "American," they'd call themselves a Canadian (Or at most a North American).

Every other Western Hemisphere nation has a national identifier other than "American," whereas the US only has the term "American" as an identifier. The only two identifiers the US could use are either Columbians or United Statesians, neither of which would be effective because there is another Colombia and United States (Mexico) in the Western Hemisphere. In addition, the US has had the identifier of "American" for longer than any other nation in the Western Hemisphere, and therefore have the biggest claim to the title.

It's not technically "wrong," but it causes significant confusion and makes you look uninformed.
