I've found that if you're just wanting to get the armor done, especially in batches, priming white and then just giving it a heavy wash of Casandora yellow gets you a nice even yellow.

Don't know why, but Zandri Dust and Death World Forest seem to always work pretty well for me. Also based Nuln, obviously, since you can actually use it to get a pretty good black metallic with some work.
Haven't really got much use out of most of my reds after switching to a green Admech scheme, but I need to pick up a few more metals to do guns and armour trim. Just Warplock Bronze isn't cutting it for the entire Knight, especially since I need the variety since the skeleton and armour trim are the same colour.

So death guard are looking hot as fuck.

I've already got 21 odd plague marines, 120 pox walkers, typhus, 3 fartcasters, 3 lords of contagion, 3 blight drones, 3 basic bitch helbrutes. Ten chaos terminators ( a choppy squad and a shooty squad) and a land raider.

Going to pick up a Winged Daemon prince, some spawn , the new tank and the new terminators.

Any suggestions on where else to expand? Defilers tempting just cos the models cool, papa nurgle and some plaguebearers would be thematically tasty too.

Not on contact. You need to sand or file it to create fine dust particles and then breath that shit first. Just take precautions like a mask and/or wet sanding if you need to sand. If you're just using a knife to trim you don't need to worry about it.

Could use some advice on the last piece of a 1000 point Chaos renegade force.

I'd have to juggle some points around with things like Champion weapons and the like, but the main force so far is

>Chaos Lord with Black Mace
>Exalted Champ with Murder Sword
>2 5 man CSM squads
>1 10 man CSM squad (one of the 5 man or the 10 man will run with chainsswords, the others are fire support)
>5 Terminators with combi bolters, heavy flamer and either Power Fists or Chainfists; the latter is a bit more fluffy but I can cut it if need the points)
>3 Bikers with 2 Melta Guns

Now I'm pretty set on all of the above more or less, for fluff reasons and the fact that I have the models. The things I'm considering to fill the list out are
>Vindicator (which fluffwise would be neat)
>3 more Bikers and Chainfists for the Terminators
>2 more Bikers and a Bike for the Chaos Lord (if I did this I'd have to switch the Black Mace for the Murder Sword on the Lord and Exalted Champ, but thats no big deal)

I'm holding off on assembling my troops until I've decided, as like I said I'll be juggling some bits of pieces of wargear to make the points work out. Any advice? The bikes are tempting with the Renegade Chapter trait, but I'm worried they'll just rush ahead and get isolated, even if the Lord gets one.

From Jes? Had a brief conversation with him.

He said that the Primaris were made simpler on purpose, as it's easier to add details than remove em, and head being compatible with beakies etc was planned.

Nurgle was chosen for new edition as the team had done so much Khorne for AoS and the colour+textures were a good contrast to Primaris marines.

He said that from time to time the codex team would ask him about stuff for DE, but that he's not in the know. Also implied that they aren't doing any DE models ATM which shouldn't surprise anyone really.

fuck painting Crimson Fists, I can't get the highlights right. the left one is drybrushed with a mixture of Lothern Blue and Macragge Blue, The middle is just highlighted with Macragge blue and the right with Lothern Blue. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good colour?
