What are some default choices for combat-themed CYOAs?
There's always "CLASS AND RACE" choices, which are pretty default for me. Then I suppose I could tack "GOD" which gives you bonuses depending on how you act. Or smites you. Mostly the latter.
Then I can't really think further. I was thinking you could go full D&D Paladin and either(keyword either) pick a Domain or a God and receive bonuses based on that.

I implemented some of the changes suggested last time, but left out the suggested artifacts since there was not enough of them to warrant an additional row let alone a page, in the worst case they will be implemented as part of the supplements.

Today's update will allow you to build a location for your explorer to travel to and decide what threats he will face.

Yet more synergy with everything else I've got going on; it specifically mentions how I could use it with DIY toolkit and quest log, but check this out - Thirty Second Time Skip doesn't require you to do the task, it just does it for you. Not that I'm an expert art critic, but maybe the proportions of some of the characters are a bit off? Kara looks a bit too thick around the legs compared to her upper body. Maybe a similar problem with Brooke? The rest seem balanced; not unrealistic, though Heather might have fuller facial features as well, though that would make her less appealing.

Other criticisms are more stylistic I think, skin tones tend to be more drab, and shaping/details are as you drew them.

I'm a big fan of your shading game. Using similar angles helps.

Otherwise, everyone bitching about your art doesn't like the western style.

Hehehe, sorry about the delay between posts. With your build, you could pretty much become something of a god yourself. The DAY toolbox can access knowledge about the kind of 'world' the young 'Goddess' now resides in, and other such things, but yeah, gotta pick the Ascension route later on to play the next one 'canonically'.

Kinda bugs me that I made it that way, but these were made halfway expecting to not continue for a while, and then I didn't know how to have things progress naturally through each cyoa, so I offered options for builds that aren't 'canon' in the later entires.

Gonna actually name the towns and school, offer some clubs, a number of landmarks/places of importance for your town (like an amusement park, or haunted house, etc) and write 30 companions and their nature towards you as friends, friends who kinda know what you're up to, and friends who are actually fighting with you.

Then add some bonus silly options from an old shrine at the end, featuring the ability to see things like an anime, or have epicly over dramatic protagonist moments im everyday life, make it so everyone is aware of what's going on, or so that you move to a new town every year, essentially replaying the cyoa each time.

You'll pick anywhere from zero to all of the waifus selected from the various high tier monster families, whose personalities I'm still working on. I can expand the waifu ideas I have already in another post if you want.

From there you'll pick your powers as you awaken as the Demon Lord, and decide how to run things choosing more traditional cliche saturday morning tropes to appeal to the traditionalist faction, or more efficient but less popular methods to appeal to the modern faction. Relationships between retainers and the loli wizards range from purely professional to familial to romantic, and everything inbetween.

Second faction led by the younger sister believes magic is dangerous and needs to be heavily regulated or banned entirely, but considering how one sided the war is without it, most of the men if this faction have begun using it to hold their own. This resulted in shotas whi have been assigned a caretaker to ensure they never go too far with their magic experiments or otherwise. These caretakers are of either gender, and things play out pretty much the same way.

Half Minute Time Skip would not work with Will, as Will needs to have a desire to fulfill and then be released to fulfill that, it's not a physical action, and if it was skipped by the time skip ability it wouldn't be released at all. That said, how Will manifests itself to help the goal you assign it will take how you can use that ability into account, and you'll sorta know when to save it and when to use it for as long as it would be integral to whatever you assigned Will to do.

Devouring Phone would not recharge Thread of Fate, as it is very specifically one use only. It'd allow you to type an entire 'setence' command however, extending how much detail you can put into it, since a text can typically be sent and received in under a minute no matter how long it is.

For all powers eaten by the Devouring Phone, it can provide you more control, and combine previous abilities provided they had a physical form and could be devoured in the first place, but it cannot recharge or make them work outside of how they are supposed to, merely give you a more technical view of how it works and technical options on how to use it.

In story, you need to send your minions out to claim various artifacts to regain your full power. For mundane objects, yes. Car will never run out of gas, etc, but the other gifts are a bit beyond the Devouring Phone's power. Hence why the Mentor wasn't nervous about it like he was with the DAY toolbox.

The Goddess is just nervous because you could, if you wanted to be evil, devour a person with gifts and get their previously unobtainable gifts as powers on apps on the phone, along with an odd looking metallic humanoid that could fulfill any command about as well as the devoured person could have.
