Orcs are okay as a Haris paintrain in sectorials. They have quite a competition in vanilla.

You should decide what you want focus on, some sectorial or vanilla list.

ORCs are great, buy all of them. Now stop reading the thread before some liar tells you otherwise.

Remotes. Buy a box. Buy all the boxes. You'll want and use them all. No joke, they're actually good support pieces that add firepower and utility to your games. They're available to all its sectorials so you can later decide if you want to specialize your troops from Vanilla or not.

>>55140726
Well, not all the boxes at once. Remotes are tricky projects to assemble and paint, it's better to go slowly.

So I built my Bandit and am eager to try out my Nomad army. How does this list sound? Me and my group are new. (Fewer than 20 games between us)

The idea is for the Aguacil core to cover for the wildcat haris to go for objectives/enemies aggressively while intruders problem solve things that can't be dealt with up close.
Also, I hear Comi-rifle intruder sucks. Why is that? it seems like hes just as horrifying with a combi-rifle if you are short points.
>>
I've never glued down my remotes. Instead I have based I can switch out for them, it's pretty neat.
>>
>>55137287
Last I checked a Chain Rifle is consistently 8 points less than a combi rifle (7 less than a Boarding Shotgun) on regular skirmishers where as the Tactical Bow is 9 points less on the ninja. Warbands seem to have a different price scaling with combis/BSG being 1 point cheaper, presumably accounting for Impetuousness.

>>55137239
They're a bit shorter than the new scale because they were from the era of hand sculpting instead of CAD, but it's very hard to tell with them crouching
>>
>>55140947
I'm not sure I follow.
>>
So if a model gets a re-pack it's safe to assume there won't be a re-sculpt in the near future, right?
>>
>>55141285
Not necessarily, they're just repacking things to make it easier on retailers
>>
>>55140938

Looks really solid. You can engage from multiple ranges and have plenty of specialists to take objectives.

I'm liking how Jaguars can cover both your Specialists and your Intruders as they get into position.

Pretty much all of your long-range firepower is focused onto your Intruders. This isn't a really bad thing since they are extremely difficult to remove. Failing absolute shit luck they will be able to force heads down while everyone else moves up.
>>
>>55140938
Overall pretty solid, personally I would swap out the alguacile hacker for a missile launchersl, for the stronger ARO presence since you don't need the normal hacking device for supportware in this list. The other thing I would do is change the combi bandit to a light shotgun bandit. Light shotgun bandit is really good at taking out infiltrators more expensive then he is (and if you can steal someone's having device and now he's a specialist). This gives you enough points to add either a 5th alguacile so the team gets the +3 BS or add another jaguar
>>
>>55141635

>if you can steal someone's having device and now he's a specialist

Oh shit, what?
>>
>>55141718
Yep, if someone with scavenger steals someone's hacking device they count as a hacker and are therefore a specialist
>>

Those things must be really easy to use.

I don't think the combi rifle intruder sucks, the problem is that he's far far outclassed by the other two longer ranged weapon options. They are expensive so you really want to make the most of them by giving them an HMG. I think the combi intruder is most likely to show up as a LT.

In regards to your list, first you really ought to find a way to get that Alguacil team a longer ranged weapon and get them up to a 5 man team, if you're going to take a link do it right. I feel the same about your wildcat haris, in my links I want to be able to cover spitfire range bands at the very least. Wildcats pay a lot for their longer ranged weapons which is why I'm not a fan of them. I feel your second group is going to have a lot of competition for orders, all your smoke and intruders are in the same group. Try to identify 2 main action pieces (which can include a link with an HMG or spitfire) then build your order groups around supporting each piece.
>>
>>55144775
Best tag for nomads?
>>
>>55145710
Iguana. It's a cheap, 4 wound HMG with a repeater. Szally is really good, but she's more expensive, so I prefer Iggy
>>
>>55144775
janky lizard HGL
>>
>>55140726

Seconding this suggestion. REMs are some of the most useful things you can buy. Most factions have a cheap 8 point one with a Flash Pulse that provides a cheap order while being okay as an ARO threat, and HMG Total Reaction ones are a staple of most lists.

>>55145710

Szally. Iggy only has a HMG and is weaksauce, if you're paying a heap of points you might as well go all out: sure, you can do strange things with the Repeater sometimes but that's very situational. The Lizard is only a couple points less than the Szally yet is throwing out a dice less per BS attack, which adds up over time. Geckos make okay bricks, but those points could probably be spent better elsewhere. Scarface and Cordelia are okay too as a whole package.

Today was excellent.

>opponent throws eclipse grenade down in front of my asura
>ah fuck he gonna move some dudes in and shoot me to shit, goodbye my fair gynoid
>instead he wastes orders rushing his Chimera in
>wtf what is happening here?
>runs the Chimera into the grenade's effect with first part of one order
>got this big shit eating grin as though he's about to see my pointsink explode
>asks me what my reaction is
>"well I guess I nanopulser her the face"
>"o-o-oh..."
>his face when he realizes he totally forgot that Asuras have nanopulsers

Absolutely exultant. I feel like this is the kind of thing people make porn parodies of. "Freshfaced puppygirl bites off more than she can chew, gets dominated and sprayed by pale beauty."
>>
My LGS has the Combined Army starter set for $53. Is it worth picking up?
>>
It it legal to use a flexible curve marked as a ruler to measure distances if I want to not move in straight lines?
>>
>>55148398
You did have LOF to the Chimera, right? Otherwise it's Intuitive Attack = entire order = not in ARO.
>>
>>55148443
6 model pack or 300 point army box?

One is a standard deal (good if you wanna start combined army), one is a smoking deal and should be bought immediately at that price.
>>
>>55148981
6 model pack, I think, and they're one of the armies that look good.
>>
>>55140977
Only skirmisher with a chain rifle is SAS, and he gets it for free. Compare the SAS 25pt boarding shotgun profile with the 21pt CR+LSG profile. Light shotguns are 4 points compared to the BSG's 8 points, and the CR+LSG profile is 4 points cheaper.
Check any sufficiently expensive thing with a chain rifle; Domaru, Kum, Daturazi(those frag grenades cost 2 extra points), Ekdromoi, Myrms. I've learnt not to trust cheap warbands for costs, because often some particularly dirt cheap profiles will be manually made more expensive.
>>
>>55148398
>>55148757
Yeah not understanding this story. If the Chimera can get grenades that close they ought to be able to fuck up the asura in cc.
>>55148712
We use tape measures. If it's accurately marked I don't see why not.
>>
>>55144775

Protect them until they make their points back.
>>
>>55145058
>They are expensive so you really want to make the most of them by giving them an HMG.

Sunken Cost Fallacy
>>
>>55149686
Wait, so do you just stop protecting them after they've done that? Doesn't seem like a good plan desu, you could make back even more points if you continue protecting them afterwards. Unless you go first and it's the last round, then you don't really need to give a shit.

>>55149744
Not really. Expensive dudes often make better platforms for big guns, that's usually why they're expensive. Think of a Montesa knight. You could take the normal combi, and it would be okay. You can shoot dudes pretty effectively. But on the other hand the spitfire can shoot dudes better at longer ranges, the LGL can shoot dudes around corners, and the LRL can shoot flame templates at dudes. All of those things are more expensive, but you already spent a lot on the guy with the good shooting abilities and the skill that deploys him in a better shooting position, so it makes sense to expand his shooting opportunities. All of those things would be quite a waste on a cheap warband or cheerleader that can't shoot for shit.

Plus, in this case there's the issue of speed. Rudy is a slow boy, so long range guns that require less movement are an advantage. He's also not a very tough boy when you disregard his camo with templates, so the midfield is a dangerous place for him.
>>
>>55149744
Are you seriously arguing against an HMG intruder?
>>
>>55149906
>Wait, so do you just stop protecting them after they've done that?

Nah, just don't worry about protecting them.
>>
>>55149906
>Expensive dudes often make better platforms for big guns, that's usually why they're expensive

Yeah, but you don't need the big guns on them in case you are strapped for points. Rifles are plenty good at killing people, especially if they have one wound.
>>
>>55149974
Again, that seems like something of a bad plan. There are situations where not bothering to protect the TAG could be advantageous, but basing those on some arbitrary kill limit rather than context strikes me as strange and rather foolish.

>>55150036
You don't absolutely need them, but they're very good to have and increase the usefulness of some units exponentially. I'd argue that Rudy's skillset makes him a lot more valuable as a long range backline asset rather than a short range one who inhabits the midfield.
>>
>>55149913

Don't be so confrontational. I'm arguing for Combi Rifle Intruder.
>>
>>55150104
> basing those on some arbitrary kill limit rather than context strikes me as strange and rather foolish.

You got 3 turns to capture more objectives than the enemy. Unless you are planning to use the TAG for those objectives then it can go fuck itself.
>>
>>55150104
>exponentially.

You got math to back this up?
>>
>>55140560
ORCs are "good enough", not great. Everything else is great. The one ORC you get from Icestorm should service you well, though their best loadout is HMG.
Beyond Icestorm should give you a decent 300pts list with great active turn pieces in Swiss Guard and Kamau, as well as the overall mediocre Bolt. Later you may want to mix and match with stuff like HMG Nisse, Croc Men, Auxilia and Dronbot Remotes (Fugazi are great cheerleaders, anti camo and Flash Pulse ARO pieces, Pathfinders are great toolboxes and Sierras make for good defense).
>>
>>55149906
>Wait, so do you just stop protecting them after they've done that?
Well, considering how much a TAG costs, by then they've probably eliminated everything that could reasonably threaten them anyway.
If a Gecko assplodes a Guija with her Panzerfaust, there really isn't that much else for her to do anymore, besides sitting somewhere in Suppressive Fire.
>>
>>55150115
Your opponent still has at least 2/3 of an army left. There's a lot of potential for shit that needs killing there, and stopping the enemy from pushing buttons can be just as important as pushing those buttons yourself.

>>55150150
>IntruderMOV=4+2
>Intruder/DTW=cunt's fucked
>HMG+Intruder=MSV2+13+3(36-16)=easysmokecombo
>MSR+Intruder=MSV2+13+3(48-16)=boardcontrol

Normally I'd probably agree with you about stuff like this, as I'm an advocate for Bao and their existence is based around their combi, but Intruders in particular benefit a whole lot from being left at the back with a long weapon. Camo and supp fire don't play nice, there are plenty of short range things that tear through mimetism and even camo, 4-2 movement isn't the best for heading up the board and a valuable 1 wound troop is a tasty morsel for any bigger and meaner doorkickers.
>>
>>55150107
Intruder is SLOW. Taking an elite solo MI with anything shorter range than an HMG is waste of points and Orders. And he's much too expensive to be a DZ guard.
There really isn't anything else to spend those SWC on if you're taking an Intruder, especially in Corregidor.
>>
>>55150249
>ORCs are "good enough", not great. Everything else is great.

From my experience, all the units in Infinity are worth their point value and perform as their kit would expect them too.
>>
>>55150296

>stopping the enemy from pushing buttons can be just as important as pushing those buttons yourself.

Did you not kill their button pushers? Or the guys who would stop their button pushers? I assumed that with the point cost you prioritized the high-value targets.
>>
>>55150296

Spend one order on Intruder w/ Combi and he can reach not only the center board but also a respectable range into their side as well. One Short Order gives their Combi Rifle the reach to just outside their deployment. And that's not even getting into anti-drop shenanigans.
>>
>>55150291
Gecko is a particularly poor example, even though it's closer to fat HI than a full TAG. You could make back its points by offing a Guilang hacker and a TR bot. That's good work, but hardly crippling.
Even with something like a Szalamandra, taking out a Daofei, Guilang and a couple of Kuang Shi makes back those points. That's a significant blow to the opponent, but any decent foe will have another rambo and more quality specialists to deal with and likely some anti-TAG munitions as well.
>>
>>55150338
Except Teutons and Securitate. They're objectively trash. And they still have their uses, though they are so ridiculously niche (coordinating orders with Teuton Panzerfausts and being immune to Sepsitor or SS2 hacker Securitate against HI with Stealth) that it's usually not worth bothering.

ORCs are only "good enough" as far as PanO goes though. All they're good at is shooting and there's a few units that either do that better (Sepulchre, Aquila, Swiss Guard) or do the same and more (every other PanO HI except Magisters).
>>
>>55150440
>Even with something like a Szalamandra, taking out a Daofei, Guilang and a couple of Kuang Shi makes back those points. That's a significant blow to the opponent, but any decent foe will have another rambo and more quality specialists to deal with and likely some anti-TAG munitions as well.
Yeah, but by then he'll have either nothing to score with or will waste all Orders trying to take down that Szalamandra. At that point you just score with Zeroes and Tomcats.
>>
I for one just love to leave the TAG near the enemy deployment zone after rampage. They then usually try to dislodge it their next turn, often unsuccessfully. I guess the psychological impact of a TAG is a great weapon on itself.
>>
What's the list with the most tags while still being viable?

Those "uses" are very rare and can be covered by other units as well. And both units are way too expensive to use.
Securitate don't even have models on sale anymore.
I hope they take away all profiles Repeaters and SS2 from them but make a specific Repeater/FastPanda profile and an SS2 hacker profile. Just so you don't have to pay for those on link fillers.

She's about 2 heads shorter than the ML Fusilier, who seems to be perfect for these kind of comparisons due to his relaxed pose.

I also did a more direct scale comparison here. It's the oversized guns that really make this look bad.

Anyone know if Hoplites are planned as a HI unit for Steel Phallus?

It really seems like that armor design is meant for a separate unit type to roll around with Achilles2 or Hector.
>>
>>55159919
That was what everyone thought when Achilles mk2 came out, but there hasn't been any word on that so far. Anything could happen.
>>
Man, all that talk of dogs in the last thread got me wondering. I know quests are a bad word on /tg/ these days, but would anyone be interested if I set up a text based RPG like that about a Dogface that has to book it off planet and has to make their way in the wider Human Sphere? I'd probably try to use a simplified version of the RPG rules.

Probably wouldn't run it on /qst/ though. At a glance that place seems like, to put it delicately, a complete fucking shithole.
>>
>>55159919
be awesome if it did happen.
>>
>>55161402
If it a choose your adventure type, look into Choice of games, they shit them all out but the forums are actually a great help.
If it is realtime and requires the readers to write ideas in which you can then creativly use in the scenario, it is most certanly a /qst/ and it has no place here, even if I would enjoy it
>>
>>55151906
> both units are way too expensive to use

Seriously, you need to realize how retarded you are.
>>
>>55161402
How would you simplify the Momentum/Heat system for a text-game? You'd probably have to strip it off entirely, and it plays quite an important role in the game.

Man, just saw this.

This is bullshit. This is the perfect design for a Vedic unit, and it gets wasted on more fucking Greeks.

Where the fuck is the actual ALEPH sectorial PP? We're tired of Achilles and his bumchums.
>>
>>55164086
She does look pretty cool, but she's a waste of a profile in SP too, yo. She fucking sucks because she serves a shitty gimmick.

But IMHO the new vedic side so far is pretty meh. Garuda and Danavas are pretty cool, but the Proxies 4 and 5 look like shit.
>>
>>55164086
Tbh even within the context of Greeks there are far better things this could have been. They could have gotten a Thorakitai character that actually belongs in a long range link, or even one of the fabled 'generic units'.

I wonder how long it will take CB to realise that Guard is a fucking horrible skill that actively ruins any unit it touches.

They have their uses, but they're rare and the unit costs offsets any benefits of those uses. So it's not worth it.

I didn't say they were trash, just that they deserve to go in the trash.
If they were trash I wouldn't care. Shit like Knauf and Scarface I'm totally fine with, because they're not that special. A little more useful in some factions than others, but overall nothing much that can't be replicated with other units.
A cheap holoprojecting KHD is a little different, especially when you consider he can come with his own repeater network. That gives potent capabilities to factions that were balanced around not having them, mostly to undeserving scum like Ariadna and Tohaa.

Sectorial rules for N3, plus Aleph and Tohaa. Sectorials covered are Neoterra, Acontecimento, Japanese, Imperial Service, USAriadna, Caledonia, Qapu Khalqi, Hassassin Bahram, Bakunin, Corregidor, Morats, Onyx Contact Force, and Steel Phalanx.
>>
>>55182480
Caledonia got access to Fireteam: Haris on Mormaers and Wulvers (including mixed 2 Mormaers + Grey Haris). They also had Anaconda, but this is due to change when the next season starts, which should be any day now. I don't know if Grey in Volunteers link is new or not. Scots Guard have Fireteam: Duo in addition to Core.
Only new addition to MRRF was Knauf, a mercenary sniper.
Blackjack next month. I think Blackjack is HSN3? Anyway, it's a USARF HI with AP HMG and T2 Sniper loadouts that goes down a level after losing a wound, similar to how Symbiont Armour works.

I don't know that much about Ariadna pre-HSN3, as I never cared for them, but the book added a lot of stuff everywhere, like Killer Hacking Devices, Fireteam: Duo and Haris being more popular.
>>
>>55182480
Wulvers and Mormaers can make a haris link team to supplement your core.
One Grey can join a link of Volunteers or a haris of Mormaers. Very nice for stopping frenzy.
The non-camo marksman rifle and SMG Scot Guard profiles now come with the FO skill as standard, and all non-camo Scot Guards can make 2 man duo fireteams (unlike haris and core teams you can have an infinite number of duos, but they provide no bonuses).
SMGs got changed themselves, they can now pick between AP and shock ammo like some sort of ghetto MULTI weapon.
T2 weapons are now exotic, and as such ignore total immunity.

USAriadna got another ghetto HI, but this time a different kind of ghetto HI. Blackjack is a cheap, slow, hackable big guy that comes with either an AP HMG or a T2 sniper+SMG. Also the only case of BTS in the whole of Ariadna.
Activating dogged no longer breaks link teams, so Marauders got a little indirect bump. And I can't remember if they had haris originally, but they definitely have it now.
>>
>>55182033

What's the general stance on WYSIWYG in Infinity?
For instance, two of the Domaru Butai models aren't equipped with any BS weapon, can they represent any of the loadouts? Is there enough visual distinction in close combat weapons where the Domaru model listed as being equipped with an AP weapon would only use the AP CCW + Boarding Shotgun loadout?
>>

It's bullshit for a game that's lacking a ton of models. Not to mention units that have no model.

Yes. Same with Father-Knight, sword Magister knight, Shikami, Ayyar, double pistol ABH from Beyond Icestorm etc. And you have the "universal proxy" Spec-Ops models on top of that. Not to mention some models don't exist yet or anymore, like Fusilier with Combi + LGL.

Is the Operation: Red Veil and Beyond Red Veil box the best budget way to start playing Infinity or maybe there is a better way to expand the O:RV box? Not gonna lie - money matters desu.
If it's a good option for a newbie, what should I purchase next? What is a must-have beside these two boxes?
>>
>>55192435
If you have a friend to split it with, it's an okay plan. Otherwise you're buying models you can't use.
Which faction are you looking at?
>>
>>55192764
Haqqislam actually
>>
>>55187138
I'm a big fan of her skin tone rolling onto her belt too. Good touch.
>>
>>55192435

if you like the haqq minis and have a friend wanting to get yu jing splitting that + the beyond box will give you both 300 points forces. Should cost about £94 on your own which would be £47 each if you split with someone and get from a 20% off place(man thinking about buy in for a system £47 is pretty cheap for tabletop).

If not just getting the haqq starter + beyond will give you a 300 point force and you can sell the yu jing half back for some funds, should be about £60 then.

I think the "must haves" for haqq are ghazi muttawiah and nafftun I hear. Hanzakuts are also useful. But you can build up to getting these later down the line.

The tacbow ninja's bow finally broke. Other tham sawing off the entire thing and just having an awkwardly raised fist, what other suggestions does Infinity General have to correct/salvage this?

Give her one of scarface's Mk12s
>>
>>55192833
Red veil and beyond red veil are both very usable sets. I would lurk here more and figure out what specific models interest you and pick those up. Infinity is one of the easiest games to build slowly, so take advantage of that and try new things as much as possible.
>>
>>55195130
Leave the handle portion and create the rest of the bow out of clear plastic sheeting, like the hard light omnitools from Mass effect.

You need to prime it with automotive primer (the grey stuff) and give it several thin layers from different directions. After the model is completely dry without any bare metal in recesses and concaves, airbrush the orange base layer, also in several thin layers.
>>
>>55195638
Thanks for the tip. I've tested it on several shades of pink, and think I've found one that produces decent enough results.

>>
>>55192435
If money matters, get someone who will for sure split the boxes with you.

As far as the Haqq side, I would wait for the new Bahram starter. Starters are a great budget way of filling the ranks. Plus, the sculpts tend to not be repeated.

Bahram starter nets you a Farzan (very useful regular, C&H SK), Daylami (can be proxied for more Ghulam or as Halqa), Ayyar (you want these fellas, they're just so good), and a Muyib (great model, but profile is not the most useful which is a theme for starters).

With that you have 16 models which allows for a tooooon of list variation at the entry level. Most Haqq lists can push into the 16-20 order range, but you lose out on some stronger options.

I'd recommend any of the boxes of REMs and a box/blister of model(s) you like the look of. You have to like the look of the models too!

Other posters mention Ghazi, they're criminally good and I would hold off a bit. If you're from Festung Europa, get into contact with Cho/Shae for some split box deals and cherry pick from boxes you like without buying the whole pack.

What should I avoid in Nomads?
>>
>>55202460
Securitate.

Maybe Wildcats too if you're playing vanilla, they're good in sectorial but not great alone.
>>
>>55202460
>>55202589
These.

But most importantly you should avoid fair fights. Fighting fair is what PanO does when they think someone watches. Nomads squeeze out every advantage they can.
>>
>>55202460
Securitate. Though honestly you'd be hard pressed not to avoid them.
>>
>>55202460
Securitate are the one bad unit, but other units are just disappointing:

Reverend Healers: like Wildcats, they belong in a sectorial team
Grenzers: Intruders/Riot Girls/Knauf basically completely invalidate them
Authorized Bounty Hunters: most any army can take them, but nobody wants to
>>
wasn't there supposed to be a corrigedor 300 point pack coming out (looked around Online and couldn't find anything on it.)
>>
>>55202889
>Authorized Bounty Hunters: most any army can take them, but nobody wants to
This is false. First, ISS, second, everyone not willing to spend 1.5 SWC on an ARO Sniper. Intruders specifically are meant for active turn hunting, leaving them in the open is letting them go to waste. Same with Knauf.

On Healers and Grenzers: Healers still offer durability, though they are better in a fireteam and you can get much faster Tomcats. As for Grenzer, Sensor and ML are his best profiles. Sensor specifically offers a lot. Sniper you can live without, but he's not bad at it, just worse than Knauf or Intruder.

Riot Grrrls I agree, not durable enough in vanilla to bother, unless you specifically want a suicide unit. But with Jaguars, Morlocks and Uberfalls you have better options.

>>55202947
Comes out at the end of September.
I'd still take Nomad starter pack or Zond remotes in addition to it, it has a few too many Tomcats. You'll want some stuff starting on the table.
>>
>>55202971
Thats good to hear, I bout Operation Icestorm a while ago bout to pick up beyond icestorm, and really love mobile brigada so I figured the 300 pack would be a good start.
You wouldn't happen to know what all comes in it?
>>
>>55202889
>Healers
Meh, they aren't the best but they're a decent toolbox. Slow speed is their biggest weakness. They're actually pretty decent in the midfield once they get there, AP/shock mimetic supp fire is pretty nasty on a doctor.

>Grenzers
Riot Grrls are more expensive and frenzied, and Knauf doesn't get a missile launcher. Rudy is a lot better, but a lot more expensive. Usually I'd just take Rudy instead, but Grenzers have their place.

>ABH
Heard you were talking shit about my cheap 0.5 SWC sniper. Nomads have good board control in general so it isn't that great there as it is in YJ, but it's still a valid option.

>>55202989
Correction: it comes out in late October.
If you already have Icestorm + Beyond, you should be set. The 300pts would make for a terrible army, but it also happens to have a lot of things every Corregidor player would want, aside from Intruders and Jaguars. Well, unless they're Wildcat maniacs like me.
>>
>>55203059
Mobile Brigada link makes buying that hard to say no to
>>
>>55202889
>Healers

They are Nomad Hospitallers without the second wound or Frenzy. Kinda the same issue as Grenzer vs Riot but atleast Healer/Hosp are in different factions. She is one of the few BS13 models Nomads have access to; only Intruders, Wildcats, boss Tomcat, her boss, and the gimp clock in at BS13, everything else is either HI or TAG.

Give her a helper bot to do the actual doctoring while she gets up midfield and wrecks faces.
>>
>>55204491
So she's a heavy infantry without the heavy armour? Er...

BS13 is neat, but a basic Moira outdoes that effect at a lower price via ODD. And having your zondbot director and killer be the same model is not clever because she will be the one getting shot. You could see her as an aggressive objective grabber - but she's slow, so again, you'd prefer another unit for that.

In any case, all I said was 'not bad, disappointing' and that's what she is. Just like the Grenzer/Riot trade is disappointing, when those 4 points get you speed and toughness
to spare/ or where Knauf loses Courage and gains mimetism in a middle finger thrown to internal balance.
>>
>>55205975
Sure, those profiles are underwhelming, and you're never going to take the weaker option to an event, but it's not nearly as bad as it is in warmachine, or for that matter 40k.
>>
>>55205975
Knauf also loses ARM. I'd be more willing to let a Grenzer out in the open than him. Though I still consider Knauf a straight up upgrade.
But as I said, Grenzer is not for sniping, the starter model is a bit of a deception. Kinda like sniper Guilang.
Grenzer is for Sensor or BS13 ML.
>>
Am I missing something about Ohio core fireteams or are they just boring?

Effective maybe, but boring
>>
>>55206247
Linked BS13 AP HMG or ML and grenades?
I know Wulver wreck face with linked grenades.
And if I understand this correctly, linked Minutemen lay down 3 Light Flamethrower templates in one shot.
They are a bit of a sledgehammer though.

Ah, I got confused a bit.
The tactic is to move the link team in position and then coordinate Speculative Fire 'nades.
Not as good with Minuteman as they pay more for the Grenades than other loadouts, but good on Wulvers or Bolts. I'd still probably take at least one grenadier into a Minuteman link.

Between REMs, Ghazi, Ghulam, and some of the cheaper units you can push two combat groups easy. Sectorials reward that even more.
