Is now a good time to start a deathrattle army with the release of the new generals handbook?
How does a Skellington blow a horn without lungs?

Is that actually the name of the Skellingtons?

How do they swing swords without muscles
How are beastmen nowadays? Can I reasonably expect to win and have some good matches if I take them, generic Warriors of chaos and some daemons?

Beastmen got some love in the new General's Handbook with their own aligence abilities and command abilities

Brayherds (current name of them) got a decent boost in Generals' Handbook (think big supplement for all forces, with missions and extra rules).

Nope.

Sure, why not.
They don't have allegiance abilities, but honestly the death ones work just fine for them.
The hoard unit buffs help deathrattle a lot, since being able to field 40 skeletons, each with 3 attacks and heal D6 every turn for 280 points is a bargain.
Take a necromancer as an ally for added fun in the bone zone.
