Just like last thread I'm fishing for feat suggestions for a Summoner. DM's only allowing Core Rulebook, APG, and RotRL's Player Companion (since we're playing RotRL). Improved Initiative, Spell Focus (Conjuartion), and Augmented Summoning are some obvious picks (maybe even Leadership since the DM told me he allows it and I've never taken it), but beyond that I'm stumped. Mostly because I've never played a game that's ONLY Core and APG.

Someone last thread was asking about 3pp starfinder, I've got some stuff going to the cleaners. Best one out of the lot is Cosmic Odyssey: Service Bots, with Planetarium up second. Starfarers Companion was not on the list.

Everybody who's been griping about making bots will probably need to take a look at CO:Service Bots. You can completely customize the bots with a bunch of options, and it has 100 example bots all started up, like the weird ass Socrocraft Xplay bot, which is a gaming console robot. One major flaw, the book uses pronouns that only a small set of individuals unversed in the English language use instead of the much more appropriate genderless singular (and plural) pronoun them, they, their; instead going for xem, xey, xyr. Yes, even as one of those dreaded SJWs, it's dumb and hard to read.
Its basically good for statting out a bunch of star wars style droids that help the party. Im sure the fine gentleman here can whip up a suitable PC race from it.

Planetarium is just a bunch of worlds are fluffed out. Art is mediocre at best. There's some new drugs, poisons, diseases, and a few other things. Skimming it, nothing too bad leaps out, but otherwise looks to be a quick and easy bunch of planets to throw your players at. We'll probably see a bunch of iterations on this type of book.

The Batal is an archetype that turns the rajah into a Frontline fighter. Instead of altering BaB from level and hitdice, the Batal instead gets a flat +4 hp per level and a bonus to hit equal to one half their level. In a non-gestalt game it's perfectly fine but in the gestalt lewd memegames /pfg/ runs it would be pure cancer if combined with something like Zealot.

It might. I have a buddy that practices dialogue in LWC. If you have nothing else to do, you could give it a try. They're not really time-intensive, and they're about as much commitment as you want them to be. Or don't, if it doesn't sound like a good idea. The players can be incredibly hit-or-miss, most being misses.

The campaign is long over but I still remember him fondly. He died horribly midway and developed an obsession towards gaining an indestructible body after he was ressed. I did not exactly get to play him as a Lich but the GM told me that he succeeded during the epilogue so I'd say he's pretty happy.

They are both shit. But on average PF icons are better all around. Adowyn for example is quite a QT that has everything that you'd possibly want in a wife.

It never ceases to frustrate me that Pathfinder is probably the hardest fucking system to make a lewdgame for, because I actually like running them just to see what people come up with.
I like seeing people making the characters they want, playing something they enjoy and then possibly the whole thing ending in a flare of brilliant autism, so if the system wasn't a 3pp/power creep splat inflation headache and the playerbase wasn't obsessed with stats and abilities, I'd be straight up for redoing it.
I don't play Pathfinder, though - I'm just in here because it's the one general that's active, has both system and off-topic discussion and always has fresh drama.
If anyone here played oWoD, Aberrant, Maid, Nechronica, hell, even Shadowrun or Double Cross for the crunch junkies, I'd seriously and literally want to run a lewdgame, because I want to take this thread for a dance at least once.
I would rather be sawed in half than read up on everything needed to run a splatbook-liberal 3pp-heavy level-4 Pathfinder game, though. There are so many people in this thread aroused by unreasonably big numbers that I don't think a game like that will even get off the ground before it's sunk by drama.
If anyone was to tell me a bit about PF GMing, though, the odds would definitely rise. I wanted to go for a spin with this thread at least once, but people set up bamboozles for shits and giggles nowadays.

While it's true that 3pp is intimidating and PoW in particular kicks combat up some notches or entirely trivializes it if the DM does not use it, I find it strange that's the one thing you don't have a problem with.

Okay, just kind of making sure. I know some people really like to hate on PoW in the thread sometimes but in my experience it honestly does make playing the martial types more interesting, even the 2/3 initiators.

I'd say it's a system worth learning for that reason, especially because it's important that if the players are using PoW, the DM should be using it as well.

I don't GM, and I have actually read a bit of it. I've made a few character ideas with the system, aiming for flexibility over damage, and a few that were just silly bullshit things. Akashic is kinda interesting. I couldn't sink my teeth into SoP so much, since casting isn't really my favorite thing. SoM was kinda eh. I haven't caught up on the latest and greatest offerings.

All I'm saying is, it's good to know, but if you aren't willing to read all of it, there are players that will still play your game. It just won't be quite as large a turnout for the app circus.

I'm running an all 13th level+1 mythic tier igilante game. I'm introducing exactly one 11th level initiator for them to fight, a Zealot with no mythic levels, and a team of 10th and 11th level characters equally lacking mythic levels: one wizard, a barbarian, a cavalier tactician, a fighter, and a rogue.

I fully expect the party to be curbstomped and a possibly TPK if they don't figure out the zealot is calling the shots within three rounds.

That's how much a single initiating character can change the game.

I'm not busy to the point where I can't play, but I'd kind of want to get players and times ready before starting chargen.
Anyway, it's really not like the oWoD lacks opportunities for magical realm, either, and to add to that, from my experience it's a fuckton more fun to do lewd when the world responds in a realistic way, instead of having that weird safe-space grabass echo chamber that /pfg/ lewdgames have a reputation for being.
The nWoD is suited for it, too, but it has this weird grating undertone of being wish-fulfillment for someone who you don't know and don't want to meet.
It's just that the WoD thread is spergy as fuck, the gamefinder thread is slow/dead and nowhere else than this place has the combination of interest in lewdgames and the pure amount of people that you'd need for the game to not flow out in the sand.
Of course, people don't know the oWoD very well, but I will bet literal money that I can find some way to wedge in everyone's magical realm. It really isn't very hard in the oWoD.
