I'm making a "brood" deck for each of the NUtitans (meaning the deck is built around a specific titan and their brood). I've successfully done so for newlamog (using BU ingest/process) and newrakul (RW hanweir meld) but I cannot for the life of me figure out how you build a kozilek brood deck and it's bugging me. However, the personal limit I've placed on these decks is that all creatures must fall under the category of that particular Eldrazi brood. Hanweir was a bit of a stretch, but I put it in that category because the flavor of that town was all the people became eldrazi horrors, including the physical town itself. The deck reflects that mechanically as well.

I build for flavor more than anything 99% of the time. It's why I love tribal decks so much.

They're not removing the legendary rule.
If anything, they're removing the Planeswalker Uniqueness rule and replacing it with the legendary rule, because the leaks from Ixalan all had the Walkers with super long type lines that looked like "Legendary Planeswalker"
And so the new Jace likely makes token copies of itself, but the tokens aren't legendary while the original is.

The best way to handle phasing: put a piece of paper over the card then remove that paper when it phases in. Don't do any other effects other than that and you've basically got the concept of the mechanic down.

Eh, no, what Edgar does is better in some ways inthat you dont need more mana. But Inallas ability is way more flexible. Both give good value for a random free thing you get just for playing the tribe. What edgar does would probably a 3 drop nowadays, MAYBE 4 but probably 3. Same for Arahbo and what dragon does is a hard 3 these days. They all give pretty good value.

This is the wizard commander I've been waiting for, so it's easily on top. Ur-Dragon is nice for its discount ability and the fact that it gives good draw and can potentially drop a dragon for free. Arahbo is good support for cats and can probably make a good aggro deck, but it's not terribly interesting. Edgar, while cool for lore reasons, seems a little bland to me. I was hoping he'd do more with life drain and gain, but him making vampires is in flavor at least. Wish the tokens had either flying or lifelink though.

Damnit WotC, leak a Boros card already. Alms is great but I'm curious to see if you've learned anything this year.
