And finally, after this next page, will there be any other options being added? Either for the PC or various quests or occurrences. I feel as if it would help extend the lore of the world and provide for a lot of potential story crafting for participants. Like if this is choose your lover, rival, friend and mentor, you could then do a similar thing with events that the party would go through and ways that the character's backstories could be revealed.

Finally, I feel as if all the characters should make me wanna find out more, and that which ones need to rewritten are typically those who are kinda boring.... but I dunno its up to you.

You get to like the heroes by virtue of the villains being assholes, not the other way around.
They're structured like Operas, except that at the end of 78% of the episodes there is a new conflict or spin that makes things shittier.
Since all the heroes are in the lawful good (82%) and chaotic good (18%) bracets, they cannot go against the rules imposed by society nor do wrong except by omission or ignorance. Villains on the other hand have the movement of chess queens on steroids but will use only those movements that make them look cheesier, nastier and cartoonish. The contraposition of these makes the villain a huge troll, and the response of the angry viewer is to keep watching that shit as if it was gold.
Heroes have also their appeal as self inserts for the middle low class and low class people, plus they got the endurance of a manga character. Seriously, somehow they won't die, their outlook will most likely become grim and darker as seasons go, but they will remain ultimately good and never fall into cynicism.
Interesting male characters die each season to prevent audience numbers decay. Interesting female characters die as the plot demands it, intensifying the whole experience.

A well made novela is very very rare and ought to be seen as a high tension drama that develops as the setting falls into turmoil. Most of these are based around historical events or pieces of good literature.
Bad novelas are like... fanfics current to their contextual making and the world doesn't move an inch.

I can't explain why but it works. Maybe because it's something you can watch with grandma among other things.
