For Ork shooting I am trying to figure whether to use dakkajets, lobbas, trakks/wagons, or grot tanks. They all have similar damage to points outputs, but I don't know which is sturdiest/most flexible.

DE really had their heyday in early 5th, before Guard and SW got updated codexes, because they got some really dirt-cheap AT for everything. 5 Wyches could take 2 Blasters, and the Disintegrator was either a S4 AP 3 Heavy Bolter or a Plasma Cannon blast that didn't get hot. 5e made Multiblast weapons like the Grotzooka dangerous due to torrent of fire, and a Ravager with 3 Disintegrators could just delete units.

So, lore question: After reading through the Gathering Storm 2 lore section, they had a part where the Ynnari were fighting against Tzneetchian demons and Thousand Sons. What I gleamed from this is that Horror's magical flames dont really kill people, but change them into new, usually harmless forms (usually being the keyword, since it can occasionally make them tougher, like the old rules for warpflamers). In that book, they were doing stuff like transforming Swooping Hawks into Snakes, or de-aging Howling Banshees into infants.

So is that usually how Horror's and Flamers work? They transform people into random shit, and than kill them?

If that's the case, what the fuck do you do if your Space Marine lt. Gets turned into a gold fish or some shit? Stick him in a bowl, or a dreadnought? Or say your Guardsmen squad gets metallic skin that protects you? Is that a blamming? And how does this work on shit like Necrons and Tyranids?

Thanks. I like her too. Since it's a Sister of Silence body, I cut off the neck of one of their heads and put it under the Witch Elf head so it gave her a neck. It was a huge pain in the ass and I fucked it up a few times since it's so small. It's a mechanical arm from the Guard command kit, so I'll probably just paint it with ledbelcher.

Ah, so it was a witch; I knew I had seen it from somewhere. But yeah, I love the big hair on her, and it looks very seamless. Reminds me of how I had to use the back end of a Chaos Warriors Glove as a neck for a converted Necromancer I made.

The conversion in my pic is that of a Egiseer, or an Inquisitor, depending on what I need. The body is from PP's Convergence of Cyriss line, while the axe head is from a Dominus and the gun/backpack are from Sicarian infiltrators. That's why the proportions are a bit big, like >>54309108 said.
