I'm working on a homebrew "fantasy robot" race for pathfinder since the Paizo Android is boring as shit and has a feat tax on having a personality.

Hi /pfg/, rules questions I can't seem to find a definitive answer to online.

I have a character who took Master Craftsman and Craft Magic Arms and Armor. One friend wants me to construct for them a custom set of magic mithral armor. Another friend wants me to replicate a pre-designed unique magic sword.

My question is, do I first need to craft the mundane mithral armor with the appropriate Craft skill, or otherwise purchase the base armor, and then proceed to magically enhance it? What about the sword, whose prerequisites and cost of materials are already included in its description?

Or does using Craft Magic Arms and Armor simply grant me the mundane base materials without the need to make a separate Craft check or purchase? Even with no ranks in Craft(Armor), I can construct magic armor without issue.

There's no real need for it to be there, this isn't /pfg/ anymore it's /pgg/. Losing /pfg/ doesn't cost us anything and the fact that there haven't been any /pfg/ threads created by confused people looking for Pathfinder General since the switch indicates that /pgg/ (Pathfinder & Starfinder) works at gathering any lost sheep.

How viable is it to enter Bladecaster as an Eldritch Scoundrel/Hidden Blade Rogue? Does Warpath Inquisitor/Warpriest benefit from going into Battle Templar?

Would it be a bad idea to work out a bunch of 6-level caster/initiator hybrid classes to see if the concept can work out and play nice together because I'm disappointed by the existence of Rubato, Knight Disciple, and Ambush Hunter

to be fair though, only the first chapter has had switching perspectives before this. the second one was completely out of ichabod's pov, the third one completely in derrin just like ichabod's tail. still both characters are active in the story so it was all good desu, it was fun to see the outside view
