I've got a bunch of points left over, so I'll take Adaptive Muscle Memory, Remote Viewing, Danger Sense, Teleportation and Force Fields. Not much I can get with the rest of the points. Either way, I'm pretty overpowered as it is, since I have few superpowers that actually affect others, which makes the Rings of Chastasia more or less useless. Reclaimer is more making new stuff than repairing old stuff, though it could do a bit of repairing in a pinch. It's the difference between keeping your platemail and claymore in great condition and being able to make a set hide armor and bone javelins from that monster you just killed.

Vanguard is also a better direct combatant. Reclaimer is the support class that can fight a little.

Reclaimer and especially Gourmet are a lot better than you seem to think. All Reclaimers learn how to fight and use traps, so while they'll never be as good as a Vanguard they don't necessarily have to be, since they'll weaken or even kill opponents before the fight begins. They're also able to make new equipment if shit breaks, and if fantasy RPGs have taught me anything, it's that shit made from a weird monster is often better than anything you can buy.

Meanwhile, gourmets are clearly the weakest version in combat, but they're sure as hell not useless. Remember, you're going to be trapped for potentially a very long time - if you don't subsist on anything but what you can scrounge, you're going to be miserable, and maybe malnourished. A party with a Gourmet, on the other hand, will be a party which is well-fed, has proper nutrition, and has high morale. Plus, magical healing that doesn't cost any magical energy. They may not change the course of the battle, but they'll win you the war.

Nah. I've said it a couple of times, Reclaimer and Gourmet in particular is there to be the comfy choice, making your dungeon stay more enjoyable/safer/easier in general. It can still fight, just not as well as the other classes. And Gourmet is out of combat heals too, which is nice.
