Absolutely last time I update this for real guys; have added Ra'Kot and Nyalee as alternate healers so people are less pressured to go Godhand or Gourmet

To make up for my shameless display, I'll take your opinions into account as to what to work on next. I've got three rough skeletons planned out so far

Cultist CYOA: You're in charge of a cult to one of several dark powers; choose a master, some fellow cultists, some perks and some problems.

Ultimate Bodyguard: Choose a style of bodyguarding (unobtrusive, intimidating, action hero) and some powers to go with it, pick a client and try to protect them on their chosen quest, while dealing with a list of obstacles.

Long term party builder: Haven't fleshed this out much yet, but the idea will be to form a party of adventurers from a large menu, but with an emphasis on picking teams that work well together. It'll have a time based element like Eternals Rising: ie you take Bob the Paladin and Sarah the Rogue

Definitely; I'm tooling with a couple of ways to make it work, but it'll be hard to not make it a clusterfuck if I don't limit the roster of potential party members.

But making characters and relationship trees if my favourite part of making these things, so even if I have to moderate my ideas I'll hopefully enjoy the process.

This will take a bit of a run up. I'll have to rely on Temptation in the early years, probably driving drug addicts and such to the edge. But Contracts will pay off in the long run, especially with the ancillary powers to back them up. I know what they want, I know what they would trade anything for, and I can make it so that the sheer need consumes them until they make a wish that'll give them what they crave. After 10 years, the souls will be rolling in.

You're only using the projection of the US, India is projected to have 1.7 billion by 2050. Fact is that while the Western nations are typically seeing falling population numbers the the developing world continues to grow. The problem is that with the advancement of technology fewer people are needed in the work force and traditional markets are changing. With more people and fewer jobs unrest becomes more prevalent leading to more conflicts.

I should know, in my third world country everyone in my grandparent's generation had at least five children, my parent's generation had an average of three, my own generation now approaching their mid-twenties still has zero children which would have been unheard of less than two decades ago.

Honest question: why does everyone ignore the cyoas posted in OP? I don't mean this one specifically, altho it's kinda lonely too, I mean in general. It's been pretty consistent that cyoas posted in OP get basically no replies, only to get bunch of them after they are posted in the middle of the next thread. Only ones that seem to skip this are the freshest OC and 30 page ones that can't be ignored.

No, that's world population growth rate, not just US population growth rate.

Yes, because its growth rate is still above its replacement rate. But as standard of living improves, growth rate falls. India's birth rate is, however, falling. It will take some decades before it falls below replacement rate, but things like a decline in infant mortality are a much better contributor to that than disease.

Note that in places where disease epidemics are worst, the population growth rate also tends to be much higher. The prevalence of disease leads to people having MORE children.

You should look up Hans Rosling. He breaks down this issue and actually looks at the factual information instead of relying on his own feelings. What he discovered is that as child mortality decreases and people move out of poverty, they choose to have fewer children. By accelerating the rate at which child mortality and poverty rates decline, we can accelerate the decline in birth rate. We will reach a point where the birth rate and replacement rate balance out much faster if we provide proper medical care to the poor, thus lowering the point of the eventual population maximum.
