It's a fun little CYOA for sure, you just have to put a little bit of extra writing into it and then the flavor starts to tie itself together into a narrative. I like CYOAs like that, where you kinda get back out what you put into it with a little legwork.

I was a orphan adopted by Lunestier groundskeeper. A teacher saw that I have strong innate magical skills. So I got accepted in the prestigious magical school.

Hopefully with my summoning magic and tactics I can basically become a general of my own magic army and I can use arcane magic to protect myself and support my army. After graduation my friends and I can go on quests to find treasures and lost knowledge and help protect peasants and kingdoms. After I become stronger, I can take over a old castle as base and start small Queendom of magical creatures summoned from the different planes. Then become a famous mercenary company and have my magic army help settle conflicts in exchange for extravagant gifts and titles.

Eventually have more titles than all those pompous spoiled students at school who wouldn't except me because I'm "poor" and "low class".

Got a page good for previewing more Cthulhu Wars, if anyone's interested. Probably will be the last preview for it though.

I might be spreading myself thin, but oh well. Ki Attunement makes me a better warrior; same as physical training. Maneuvers allows me to utilize the battlefield to my advantage, and I'm alright with avoiding traps. I'm a damn good fighter, and I make my own equipment, customized to my own specifications, so it performs much better than what you could get from a vendor. I can rough it in the wilderness, and when it comes to the tough beasties that roam the world, I know what I'm doing.

They pretty spoopy. In all honesty there really isn't any set canon on the dark gods. I find that players like to fill in the blanks on their own when it comes to this kinda stuff. Generally speaking though I'd say they aren't that different from the gods of light (at least the older ones). Each have a God of battle, fertility god, God of the hunt etc. the difference is that fundamentally the dark gods take a "The ends justify the means" approach. Hope that helps.

Perpetuity, Intelligence, Endurance, Vasana/Suzuka

It works out perfectly. Her/their personality is nice, mostly human even, and there's no life-threatening complications. Not only that, but the things they both want happen to mesh perfectly with what I want from the genetic boosters. Endurance for Suzuka to "fuck her into a daze" as well as have the energy to do do "exciting things". I'm already fairly strong by normal standards. Intelligence for Vasana, with loyalty and respect coming naturally for me anyway. And Immortality for both, Vasana wants it explicitly, while Suzuka will come to the same conclusion eventually. Those happen to be the exact 3 boosters I would pick for myself to begin with, so it's absolutely perfect.

And the more awesome of a person that you are, the more excited your friends are to introduce you to others.

This is some common sense type of stuff. Get good at sports and you can befriend people who want you to be on their varsity team, get good at math and you can flirt with girls whom you are helping to study, get good with computers and you will meet hundreds of people whose friend knows that you are good with computers.
